I have just started having this same call but didn't answer it, and I only recently switched my contract to Virgin media!!! That is very suspicious number is transferred and a new account started and then this call  comes in. If it is Virgin Media not owning up to calling and pestering then there must be some watchdog to complain about the providers to investigate this happening.

Was called last night from this number, claimed to be Virgin Media, but I was very suspicious when they asked me for the password on my account.  Don't give any details to them as it definitely sounds like it's a scam.

Keep getting these calls but never speak to me.  Always phone at the same time each day.

Call from virgin media, as soon as he asked about my mobile phone package (I'm with Orange) i hung up straight away.

We receive a call most days from this number but never answer it. Very annoying.  Is it spam from Virgin?

Called me, she spoke in poor English with an American accent. Began to ask questions, I hung up.

They keep calling me on my mobile. When my wife answered and said talk to her instead. There was a long pause and then they hung up Dodgy.

I am a VM customer and have been getting calls from this number to my mobile for months now. I asked VM directly yesterday via their 'Contact us' form if they have anything to do with this number and they categorically said it's not them at all and I should avoid giving out any details:

We've checked your account and can confirm that our team has not contact
you. Hence the calls you’re receiving from 08004089341 are fraudulent
calls. We advise you not give your password to the caller.

So just put the phone down people. Or better still, get the number blocked if you can.

This idiot called me and asked for me by my full name, including the corporate entity part - "MR". .  I told him he had the wrong number, he apologised and I said OK bye, but he then started to ask me something? I didn't hear what as I was in the process of using the best button on a phone, the red one! If you had dialled a wrong number, apologised and the recipient had said bye, would you then engage in any form of conversation with the person you accidentally called? NO - Me neither ! Hmmmmmmmmmmmm !

Me to, i even got one at 8-30 on sat night , i have had over 5 the past 2 weeks and really sick of it as no one should have this mobile no except for friends and family who i gave it to
please can someone get them to stop

If it annoys you that much; maybe you need to look closer at your own life than you do at forums?

I've had about seven calls from this number over the last two weeks.
