I already registered my phone not to receive these messages but still got woken up this morning

Have a word with your Service Provider's operator and see if you can resolve it between you.     I doubt if anyone posting in the thread has a "fix" for that situation.

Were you expecting a delivery? Just I had this same phone call this morning (automated text service) saying we will see you today. A few hours later I had a parcel from Hermes. Thought it might help :/

SMS is disabled on my landline, number on TPS, yet got a call 10 minutes ago.
I pressed 3 to delete without listening.
Damned nuisance.

The "service provider" operator in Mumbay is at best 100% clueless about fixing the situation.

Looks like a Text-to-Voicemail service.

I think he was talking about your own service provider, rather than the caller's.   You know, the people you pay for your own line.

Had a couple of incomprehensible voicetext messages on domestic phone - quite bizarre. Followed procedure to end all voice text.

Had an early call from this number this morning.  Didn't answer and came on here. Thanks everyone for your messages.  I will be blocking this now . Cheers.

The txt was incoherent and utter rubbish and nothing to even do with me!
Will have to block in my TrueCall as well as report it to my service provider

I got one today and my answer phone took it, unfortunately
like most people I cannot understand a word of it.

Sounds like really early speech technology even before the
days of the speak & spell (at least we could understand them).

And what idiot sends an SMS to a land line anyway :(

There must be a lot of those idiots as there is another thread on here with well over 3000 posts on the same subject.  You want to see the ones on New Years Day when the drunks have been trying to wish friends/family a Happy New Year!!!

This number calls you when someone sends a text to your landline number. Had one today from a friend who picked my landline number instead of my mobile by mistake. It probably depends on the type of phone you have whether you get a text or a speech message. Mine was a text message, didn't even hear the phone ring.

Was woken up at 7 am with a recorded message from this number!  seemed to be about PPI or similar.  I only listened for a few seconds before slamming the phone down!

This is BTs voice text service yo simply get it turned off dial BT on 0800 587 5252, then select one then option five and the texts will be stopped within 20 minutes

Really annoying get a call from this number on a daily basis answer and nobody's there!

This number called me early in the morning,and when i answered....nothing,it was just quiet,no voice recorded message,no one there....and this is not the first time the number has called!!!!

Clearly not a scam but BT's message service, and it's easy to ring 0800 587 5252 to stop all these text message reminders in future or to select only daytime call periods.
