Its the CSA. Just received a call from this number updating me on the progress of my claim.

this is the csa , rang them back on the official number , completed security with them and requested they ring me back, was given a name of the person who was going to call before they rang , deffo csa

Its Batman ok !!! sometimes he needs help but he cant leave his ID so wants a call back. How many people have to say its DWP. So i am hear to tell you its not the DWP its a government plot to follow your little lives and track your visits to co-op.....get a life !

This number is defiantly the child support agency number as I have had a phone message of them where the lady left a message asking me to ring them back on 08456090082 and seen as I have just recieved a letter from them the number on the letter and the number the woman asked me to ring are the same. They ask for your nat insurance number to make sure your the person they need seen as they maybe several people with the same name but only you have that n I number. Hope this helps, lee

08007838527 is owned by DWP.  I've just had this confirmed by my BT 'non geographic' account manager.

I just recieved a call from this number. It is CSA they were calling me re: progressing my case so my scumbag ex actually starts to pay me what i am owed. It was MY case officer from the Dudley office, I can confirm this as I recognised her voice from the several conversations I have had with her over the last few months. Yay me scumbag owes me £2000 paying £80 a week over the next 12 months plus his weekly amount of £85 RESULT!!!

got a call from a polite man saying he from the CSA and was asking if i was satisfied with the service they had provided me and when they last in contact with me and asked me how satisfied i was with the service from 1 to 5
didnt ask anything personal or unusual questiojns
askied if i could be called agin for further surveys i declined

u  say u can only imagine what they get up to when someone is avoiding contributions - sometimes i think they just chase the 'employed' easy targets and cash in on them instead!

the csa is not part of the goverment !!!!

Wow a lot of angry people out there! I'm glad I looked this up as I am expecting a call from the CSA and now I know to answer the phone when this number rings again! I don't get you people who insist on not talking to government run agencies, it is in your best interests to find out what they want, even more so if you don't believe you have reason to be called by them, as someone might be using your number as a fake.

This number called me and the phone only rang twice and then they disconnected - this does not give enough time to answer the phone and then they don't leave any message

This is one BIG scam. This  is not CSA or DWP.
I kept receiving calls from this number, most of the time silent.  In the end reported it to OFcom as a 'silent call' (as it's against the law to place silent calls'.

Everybody do the same and you WILL have peace again.  The day after I reported to OFcom these calls stopped.

CSA. Calling to get my details after someone I slept with gave birth and made a claim.

This is the csa! I just got call from a lady and after telling me she wouldnt tell me who she worked for before i confirmed my name etc i said well go call someboby else then and hung up!
After that i seen this and i called the csa on the 0845 number only then to be directed to the caseworker who was the same woman id spoke to just 5mins before!

Im in no doubt this is csa!

I can confirm this is the Child Support Agency. My partner received a call on our landline, they identified themselves and said they would try my mobile.

It is the csa. I got a letter the following day saying they'd try to ring. So I rang them & they did tell me they rang & repeated this number
