This number rang me at 13:15 today saying they were from some Travel Agents Association (without me asking) and wanted to speak to me regarding a previous experience with some travel arrangments I had. Asked would it be ok to call at another time. Bizarre. She had a Welsh accent.

I just got a call from this number leaving a voice mail saying the same thing haven't called it back

Had these ring me twice in 2 days each time saying ring 034560900082 when I do ring it says wrong number please try again [***] holes no way I'll wait to I go to sign on and ask them

It's csa, where they are now shutting down the called to see what I wanted them to do with the arrears owed, tying up loose ends, if you answer they are rather polite

I have just been called by the CSA asking for my national insurance number then asking what's the name of my child's mothers name which I haven't seen for 22 years or my daughter which is now 30 and have a family of her own. I just hung up I don't know what they expecting from me. Weired one

Turn it in Ralph, you muppets are ringin me but only I'm a fully grown man who has no business with any job Center or ever has, why would I even need to answer anything from your kind? Jobcentre haha for what, If I was unemployed I'd rather starve then goto your kind for anything. You pay people with my money and think you have the right to tell them who and when can have what. It's our money (public tax payers) why do you some bum in a [***] job with [***] pay think you have a right to look down on your customers? I have received 21 calls and all they keep saying is a personal matter they always ring when I'm at work and can't talj

CSA after my husband had dealt with them earlier in the day, after his work details which he has refused to give them... making out he owes money for his 20 year old daughters who both work

This is the CSA just advising that they are closing old cases, quite polite.

2 missed calls so I called the main number on the gov website and they advised someone would call me back in 5 minutes and they did from the 0800 783 8527.

Its just a phonecall. If you have done nothing wrong then why the drama. Ask who they are and phone them back on a number you have sourced yourself. Writing letters takes time, and is bad for the environment - paper production, tree lopping, printer inks, transport emissions etc. This is the modern world we live in - mobile calls and email are just the norm.

Being paying since 4, am a responsible parent.  I told them you rang me, they state it's for data protection etc but again they rang me. Surely there can be some give and take they give me half of my NI number I complete, half of my birthday they complete etc.  A friend of mine was called recently by a well known bank on a Saturday night to say they believe his card was used illegally
Asked him if used today then got him to confirm number of card where used etc, next month he had brought 4 tickets to a Rod Stewarf concert that very night and had picked up the tickets at desk, people who sat in them seats had brought of a ticket tout outside. He doesn't like Rod now.

Can confirm this is definitely not the child maintenance service (not sure about csa - there are 2 now) I phoned them and they haven't tried to contact me for ages and nothing open on my case.

Got call today said it was dept of work and pensions.  Wanted NI no.  No idea why they called.  Is it a scam?

Funny I had a call yesterday and they left a message apparently from DWP (CSA) on an 0345 number. I called the number back but it kept getting dropped. So I went through the main number. They did need to talk to me due to the new system they wrote to me about and it was something fairly simple that needed to be cleared up. However, the number I called them back on was not the 0800 number that has tried again today. I called the 0345 and they do not have any record of the 0800 call. That'll be ignored then and I'll wait until they write again or call the direct number.

Hi Ralph I am a bit concerned as I received calls on both my landline & mobile today as both were on their systems for a lady called Wendy streets, that is not my name, when I queried how they would have both my numbers for a name I dont recognise I was just told not to worry it's a government dept & they could not  discuss which department, or how my numbers were on it. I'm very worried now. Can u enlighten me please? I have children & am single but I have nothing to do with the CSA & never have.

I've just had a missed call from the number too. It was from the CSA and I called them back on 03456 090072. Thankfully it was just to say they were closing the case. Hopefully that will be the case..

STOP THIS SCARE MONGERING  THIS IS A GENUINE GOV NUMBER
This is a genuine number. After reading all the comments on here I was worried about this number so decided to do what anyone else could have done. I called the DWP who obviously asked a few security questions put me through to the actual person who called me. They are the DWP and they make calls to try n speed things up. In my case closing a CSA case that I thought was closed a very long time ago.  STOP SCARE MONGERING
