This is the CSA, they left a message on my answer machine to contact them which I did regarding my case.

Just had a message left by a person calling himself Ron McIlroy from the department of work and pensions, he asked for me to call back on 08456070092. Unfortunately i can't call either number form a mobile at the rates you can from a land-line so its pointless them calling a mobile surely..?

Got a call from them this morning, and if it is DWP then they have had my current address for 2 years and I have had no mail from them recently, so if it's something really important, I'll just wait for the postman.  Not handing out my details to a number who's calling me, and not me calling them first.

This number is legitimate. I have a case with the CSA and she said that should they call me back they will always say they are from DWP (Department for works and Pensions).

These idiots are soooooo thick. Typical government run outfit. Got called about 6 times last year for someone who has never lived at this address, even left messages on our answer phone which states our surname and still left messages for the guy they were looking for. Now today we've had 2 calls from them and were told both times they had the wrong number. Just hope they don't phone again as I will be losing my temper with them, as I've just told them to remove our number from their system (as I did last year and it hasn't been done). I also told them when they do get hold of this Jonathan England to tell him to stop giving out our number as his contact details.

I got a call today from the 08007838527 and it was the csa in regards to queries about my children and voluntary payments for my kids, its ligit!

I think we all know it's a ligit number ....it's the way the CSA use it that is the problem!  

I've just had a call from really obnoxious CSA guy called Neil - the ex, depite being paid money through the year and despite my paying for... my daughter's bus money, school trips, lunch money, school uniform, clothing, you name it, etc.,  still wants more.  

My daughter's mother and her husband are being investigated for abusing my daughter, yet the CSA are persisting ringing me!!  And yes, they would not talk to me unless I gave my NI number...yet they know who I am, my phone number etc.  The mind boggles.  

It's about time that this organisation were made answerable for their mis-deeds or preferably scrapped as an entity.

i think its CSA - my daughter was removed from my care for reporting susoected abuse.  Social services ruined my professional career and said it was "abuse to report abuse" and passed her back to the mother who tried to suffocate her and grandfather who has historic alligations of child sexual abuse

THey can chase their poxy money but i will not answer until the secret family courts start saying that chuild abuse is illegal and covering for these social working child abusing scum

Got a call today from this number, they are wanting £7800 from may 1994 to September 1996, what a absolute joke

The number referred to here and on this thread 08007838527 was confirmed today 14th June 2013 to be the CSA by the representative of the CSA I spoke to on 08457133133, I have recorded the call and was informed by the operative that I was not allowed to use the recording for any purposes, including prosecution of the CSA for Phishing, harrasment or any other legal persual.

If my company were to do this, I would be closed down, prosecuted an probably imprisoned.

One law for them, one law for us, it's time this government were overturned and the people had the power !

It is impossible for them to demand any payment that you may or may not owe after 6 years as far as I am aware, government agency, debt collectors included.

And monitoring communications that my computer may or may not have had over a wireless network in a cafe does not directly prove that I made that specific communication.  I may have been piggy backed, hacked or forced to make the comments under duress !

You can not prove without a reasonable doubt that I made this entry on this site.

For a heads up, everyone should allow everyone access to their router with NO internet security, yes secure your network devices but allow free access to all and then no one can put the finger on you for anything you may or may not have said !

This is what I hear when I call that number: "We are sorry. You were unavailable when we called today. We will ring back later"

No idea who it is but messages listed here suggest CSA or DWP. I have dealings with both but DWP leave a message when they call me, plus never show a phone number, so I'm guessing CSA who need to be more careful about leaving messages.

I will if you phone when I am in!

Also, leave a message with a phone number we can get through on, it's the decent thing to do!

Call for my son, when I asked who was calling, told it was a "Personal Call" and they hung up!!!!
