    We get these calls almost every day at 1pm and 2:50. I always ask them to remove us from their list but they never do. We already have all the cover we want, not that it does us much good. Once I get the boiler replaced I will be cancelling the cover.

    I just received a call from this number in the last 10 minutes..... as i didn't recognise it, i ignored it, then googled it. That brings me here..... i HATE spam calls.

    I also do not want these calls since i am one of four in a houseshare, i have nothing to do with the boiler itself, that is the landlords interest. I am simply one of the two names on the account we pay the bills for, that is it. Do not want their stupid calls!!!!

    Ah, that's not really the solution.  I was a BG customer for boiler servicing only - had absolutely rubbish service from them and cancelled the contract last May.  Since then, I've had umpteen phone calls from this number, telling me they want me to come back and that they can give me an excellent quote.  I told the last 4 people who phoned to take my number off their system as I am NEVER going back to BG for anything!  Turned out to be a pointless request, still getting phone calls, latest one at 13:56 today!

    British Gas trying to sell a Home Care plan. They phoned numerous times on my mobile within work hours. On the first occasion I asked them to not call within those hours, that request was totally ignored. They just kept calling. The only way to stop this call seems to be to talk to them, and in my case, get them to the point where they finally realise you're not interested.

    I have a Homecare agreement with British Gas for my boiler etc but this company keeps calling me asking if I want extra insurance for windows, the roof etc (isn't that why I have building & home insurance). They called yesterday and were quite insistant when I told them I wasn't interested. Anyway they called again this morning when I was trying to get a 3yr old & 10 month old ready for breakfast... RED RAG TO A BULL!!! as any demented mother will know.... I ended up giving the caller short shrift and was very assertive on the phone... basically said I wasn't interested and not to bother calling again!!

    I just took a call from this lot. It's the third time they have called today and the first time anyone actually spoke to me.

    Four minutes in to a call during which he repeatedly told me I could have a free assessment of the performance and age of the boiler, and of the central heating system, free call-outs to the boiler, free emergency responses and free parts and labour, the young man I was speaking to told me how much I'd have to pay (£3.69 per week).

    "Hold on", says I, "How long have we been talking?"

    "About four minutes", says he.

    "And how many times have you told me, in that four minutes, that the service would be free?"

    "Several", he replied. Fair play. I expected himn to deny it.

    "So do you accept you have spent four minutes misleading me"?

    "No. The service is free. The weekly charge is just to make sure you are covered..."

    We went round this bit a few times...

    Sigh.

    I told him further conversation was pointless, thanked him for his time and hung up.

    It's a bit pathetic, really.
