i would just like 2 say in response 2 all of the people slagging companies like clc off.....that they are hardly commiting a crime by offering you rewards 4 giving up some of your precious time.....and perhaps u should be more wary of what you do with ur details as many of u are saying that u have never filled out a survey but they dont just guess your details!!!  they are simply doing their job and all u have 2 do is call a free phone number and take 5 minutes 2 listen 2 what they have 2 say...this in turn helps people stay off benefits and pay their rent, feed their families etc!!  and in this time of a recession perhaps people shoould be more grateful for any offers they recieve or even just make a FREE phone call in which 2 help a person keep their job!!  im sure that many of you that are posting negative comments on here dont exactly have the most helpfull community jobs but none the less they are jobs so before you slag off innocent people trying 2 earn a living perhaps u should take a bone when its thrown at you....many people seem 2 be happy with what they have been given by these companies and evidently all you have 2 do is learn how 2 say NO!!! and you still walk away with a gesture for your time! not so bad when u look at it like that!!!!

Had filled in a suvey on the way back from last holiday and I have won another holiday! Plus if I ring back in the next 30 minutes I will have the chance of winning £50 shopping vouchers.

Got the phone call this afternoon and Googled the 0800 number as we were suspicious. Glad we did. More careful about surveys in future????

i got a call today about a so called holiday, this is the biggest rip off, I will never call the number these people are pathetic low life scum who cant get a real job cause they are too thick they are just pests with nothing to live for apart from their little bit of commision if they call me again I will go mental and abuse the parasites down the phone, I urge everyone else to do the same lets try stop these c**ts ruining the lifes of the decent people of society.

I've just had a call too telling me I have won a free European holiday after entering The Big Prize Draw and to call 0800 988 9900 - good job I checked on here first before calling!

I have been lucky enough to win four of these 'holidays' in the last few months and all I did was take pity on a poor lady standing outside a garden centre doing a survey on shopping habits.  The prize was for a weekend in London,  VIP tickets to a show etc.  CLC haven't stopped hounding me even though I've told them I'm not interested (politely) but on some occasions, I've received nothing but abuse back.  
Please be advised that you'll only win these holidays if you earn a reasonable income (probably way more than the callers!) as they think this will give them more chance to flog the timeshare.  Maybe it would have been half a decent deal a few years ago, but from what I've heard, many people that did buy into the timeshares have trouble trying to book the weeks want as the market has been flooded and alot of time and effort is spent on trying to hook up newbies.

For all of you CLC workers out there that have left your comments, I appreciate that it's your job, but do you really not want to do something a bit more fulfilling with your life?  You must know that it isn't a particularly good deal for many and for those that innocently enter competitions/ surveys, they really don't want to hear from a company trying to get them to part with quite a few thousand pounds on a timeshare.

As soon as I said I saw it was a time share on the net, the lady very politely admitted "we are a time share yes, we would not tell you any different". I said no thank you

Missus got a call from Costa. Blah, de blah, won a weeks holiday, no commitment other than spending money. Call 0800 9889900 quote reference. Told her not to fill in form (giraffe promotions), originally. Now we'll get hassled until kingdom come!

i had 1 of these calls a couple of months ago and politely told the caller i have no interest in their offer and i was simply filling out surveys for a different purpose, the caller from CLC then informed me that EVERY survey you fill in has a small box on the screen somewhere that if ticked, will prevent any of your details being passed on to third party organisations under the data protection 1998 .... therefore perhaps instead of insulting the call centre workers' intelligence, you should challenge your own intelligence as to why you fill in these surveys and allow your details to be pimped to every call centre and "offers" organisation in the world?!
cut the workers some slack and stop thinking your all gods gift to the world and socially superior to these people, this is not the dark ages .. EQUALITY is what we're looking for people, not sarcasm!  you should all be ashamed of yourselves and greatful for the fact theses people work rather than stay on the dole living of the tax payer!!

LOL - Exactly the same as everything here. These told me that I'd won a holiday (a choice of countries) and needed to call back to claim my prize and if I did within an hour I'd receive £50 worth of vouchers. They did say that this was from a competition I filled out at an airport on holiday which I did do - so I rang them. They instantly started talking about only being 'eligible' if you have a certain household income. I just hung up.

Same details as other callers, including winning a holiday and giving me this number to call and claim my prize. Glad I googled the number- obviously not going to call! Thanks very much to the people that set up this web site.

I was called today (16-09-09) and told I had won a holiay for completing an online survey...was given a freephone number 0800 9889900 and told to give a reference number which would entitle me to a free 1 week holiday...thanks to all of your comments and a very quick google search of the number I wont be wasting anymore time on this. Now to get the number blocked! (The girl on the phone sounded really nice, but I wonder how she sleeps at night knowing she is scamming folk!)
