- ali, brightoncancelled my Voda contract yestergay & have had 6 calls from this number today. How long do they keep hassling you for?
- neili was actually glad when this number called me because having had dealings with vodafone before regarding upgrades, i now know EXACTLY how they work & know EXACTLY how to play them! i go online & purposely choose an upgrade that requires me to pay for the handset. i then enquire about the upgrade direct with vodafone over the phone & let the operator tell me the price. i then refuse to upgrade and request my PAC. vodafone then call me on this number and negotiate a better deal which after 3 years of me doing this at upgrade time has ALWAYS resulted in vodafone letting me have the phone for free. moral of my story is IF THESE PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HASSLE YOU WITH CALLS TO KEEP YOUR BUSINESS THEN NAIL THEIR FEET TO THE FLOOR AND GET SOMETHING OUT OF THEM - PRICE REDUCTIONS, FREE CREDIT, FREE HANDSETS, WHATEVER YOU CAN BUT THE PURPOSE OF THEIR CALL IS TO GIVE YOU A BETTER DEAL

- Aleks| 1 replyFour calls from this flipping number today - I'm not even a Vodafone customer!
- Caller: Vodafone
- louI`ve had four calls from this number today, I answered one of them not realising who was. It was an `automated voice saying `you`re being charged for this call`. I only asked Vodafone for a pac number to take my number to another provider yesterday and now feeling harrassed by calls from this number which they`ll charge ME for answering!
- MWSame thing asked for pac code few days back 7 calls today from this number...0808000013 answered the 7th one but got recorded music so I just hung up and googled the number that brought me here so stands to reason as I'd also asked for my PAC code too.
- Caller: Vodafone?
- LouI have now received a total of 12 calls from above number, I answered on the 12th call. Lady introduced herself calling from Vodafone and asked me to confirm MY details to her calling me!! I told her i couldn`t prove who she was so no, and she said huffily, oh we`ll write to you then about your requesting to end the contract! I put to her i`d received the calls countless times, and asked that they stop she said she`d make a note of this. Hmmmmmmm....

- hayi have had calls for weeks now, thought it was a sales call...tried to answer today and everytime i have its hung up. Im now not going to bother, my contract has finished with them and i sent a letter the other day asking to cancel...was lookin at staying with them but not so sure now...
thank god for google so we know who it is!!! - ClaireI have had days when that number has called me 8 times. It's been going on for 3 weeks solid. I am sick if it! When i cantacted vodaphone they said it wasn't them and they couldnt block it. So i have sent them notice that i want to cancell my contract. From reading all these comments i am conviced that it is them.

- Adamu_KunI've had 10 calls today from this number - when I called it back it said that it was a courtesy call from Vodafone and that I should call 0808-000-0166 to speak to someone...
...which I did and they knew nothing of this. Great. And of course they cannot block the number. And no, I don't have a contract from Vodafone.- Caller: Vodafone
- Sam_BI have had multiple calls from this number today, and I only filled in an online form yesterday, as I have just ordered a new contract phone, without carrying out a transaction. I then refilled the from using a different number, but they still ring me, it is getting rather annoying now as I am in college and I keep getting these calls in the middle of classes
- Caller: Vodafone
- VLike many others I requested my PAC code yesterday. I have had 3 calls from this number so far and will continue to ignore them. Have been thinking of moving away from Vodafone for a while and this has made me see that it was the right move!
- johnI have been with Voda for 15 years and in the latter years the service has been so bad I really can not describe it.
Tired of been burnt and ripped by Voda I decided to get my PAC No and look for a better deal. This I did friday and now the calls have started from this No.- Caller: Vodafone
- peterpp_bgHad a call from this number today, claiming they are from Vodafone. Since last Friday I receive calls from Vodafone (from another Caller ID) to stay with them for another 18 months. Really confusing, because yesterday I agreed to exchange emails to negotiate the conditions. I indeed received an email, to which I replied. Haven't received reply on the email yet, but had this call today, from another person, from this Caller ID, starting a conversation from the beginning. ???
That seems some strange company tactics to hold a client.- Caller: Vodafone
- DKIts the Vodafone retention team calling you, they are making a last ditch effort to retain you as a customer before you disconnect for another network, this is automatically triggered when you give notice on contract, request a pac code, or if they are not busy when you are close to the end of your existing contract.
My advice is to use these calls to your advantage especially if you are considering staying with Vodafone but just want a better deal.
This is what I get (got) when reconnecting onto a 18 month contract:
FREE phone of my choice (Nokia N95 8gb)
1/2 Price line rental for 15 months!!!! (£35 reduced to £17.50)
Free car charger and bluetooth headset
If they won't give in politely decline and move network or wait for the next call closer to your end of contract and a bigger offer
No point getting stressed or upset about these calls honest!!!- Caller: Vodafone
- PhilipReceived yet another call from this number today - didn't answer and won't.
Still a Vodafone customer -for now. - LinzI am in NZ it is 3.30 in the morning and they keep ringing my phone, I don't answer cause it costs me a fortune to answer it and waiting for the contract to end. I came to NZ for an emergency, this is not helping, thanks for the forums like this cause I was considering answering!
- LaurenMe as well, I called them back and they had no record of calling me at all!
- Caller: vodafone
- Donnai think vodafone have recieved my cancellation letter today.... two calls already.. i just press busy... roll on 28th June :)
- DThis number called me at lunchtime today, on my mobile phone, but when I answered there was noone there, or they just hung up.
