I am having constant calls from this number, also to my work, never leave a message

This number is Lloyds Bank Collection department. I have just spoken to them and they confirmed the number was them.

Rang today.  Lady other other end of the line with a terrible accent. Had to ask her 4 times to repeat herself. Claimed to be from Bank of Scotland.  Only have a credit card with them nothing else.  No payments missed.  Mortgage is with the Halifax no payments missed. Bank account with another bank. Wouldn't tell her date of birth or postcode.  She refused to go any further and told me to phone back or call into any branch. Can't wait for them to phone back. Deffinatly scamming for info.

This number called my 76 year old mother last night at 20:44 saying they were from barclays. They said that she was £250 overdrawn which with someone of my mother's generation would cause worry. Luckily my mom is switched on and said I have no direct debit of that amount.  They then suggested it could be council tax which my mom doesn't have to pay.  Nice try!  The Indian sounding woman then got flustered and suggested calling the council for more info. Please anyone who gets this call report it to action fraud even if they didn't fleece you of any money because they seem to know who people are banking with. Action frauds number is 0300 123 2040.

Its a scam number. The replies that say it is real are, believe it or not the scammers still trying to convince you.

This number calls 5-6 times a day !??????answer machine comes on ........ nothing no message  doing my head in !!!!

Called today for the first time, defo a scam. East Asian accenet asking for banking details. As as I challenged them the bank wouldn't call without a reason i was adivsed to go to branch and they hung up.

This is Halifax as it was confirmed to me when I complained to them about calls every ten minutes to my land line and mobile for two weeks solid! My mobile has call blocker on it but they still insist on trying to call me! I was told it is all done by computer. You are on the system which calls you and when you pick up there is a two second pause then an advisor picks up and you go through all the security checks before they tell you the reason why they are calling you! They have been trying again this morning since 8.30am every ten minutes so I feel another complaint going in!!!!

People should really consider allowing their phone to ring out if they are unaware of the number, if they need you they will leave a message (including banks). scams also work from you just answering alone, so dispite you not giving out your details you've already fallen for it by answering, they then ask questions because the longer you stay on the phone the more they make, time is money!

Cant believe this number. I'm in debt with Lloyds but have a debt management plan set up through a different company.
This number has called me 5times a day since 26th November!!! Answered the call once and was a foreign male (I don't usually answer these sort of numbers) but they leave voicemails daily! Saying they are from Lloyds bank when ive asked the bank and they aren't!

Had two calls from this number this morning, about half-an-hour apart.  No message left.  I only have a savings account with Halifax, no lending (mortgage, credit card, current account, insurance) at all, so can't be anything to do with debt collection.

No idea why they'd call me, but anyone who calls me from an unknown number without leaving a message will find their number blocked.

Keep calling ans hanging up when I answer so fustrating and annoying when your trying to get children to sleep!!!

Got a call on my mobile then house phone whichI answered. Its the halifax

I have had several calls from this number, over a period of weeks, and most days, don't know who they are and I don't answer them.
I have looked on line at forums and it appears that this number is used in the name of several different banks.

How can I stop this caller?
