Sick of these idiots calling day and night you cant opt  out using 9 it doesnt work, when I pick the phone up I hear an automatic message during this message I cant hang up because the line does not clear. Wish they would p ss off reporting them doesnt seem to work. cant even phone them and have a go because its all auto calls so no people there to answer . Is there a direct line phone number to call to speak to them so I can ask a load of pointless research questions lol ty

i cannot follow what is being said - scotish accent i think - also a prize draw is mentioned.
i do not want to receive any more nuisance calls of this kind.

I googled the number and opted out online. Hopefully this will work. In any case I never answer the phone to anyone I don't know, so all efforts to contact me are in vain.

The company calling itself Curved Air doesn't exist. Don't press 9 at any price and certainly don't click on any of their links. This is Lowell Debt collection trying to get round the Data Protection Act.

New Year, New hassle.

I have tried everything to stop these people calling my workplace. Pressing 9 doesn't work. Using the website doesn't work. I think I will answer their survey and leave the address of my local trading standards dept.

You do annoy and harass, you illegally phone TPS numbers like mine, and no matter how many times I tell you stop the harassment, it goes on. I  have reported you to the TPS, but still the harassment continues. If the TPS had any teeth telephone pests like you would be in jail to stop you causing to much nuisance to people who do not want your services.You are pests pure and simple, who blatantly flout the law but seem, to get away with it.

I use call display and don't bother answering this number.

I am ex-directory and TPS registered, so would love to know how they got my number. I never answer the phone, so everything goes to answer machine, and these jerks left an automated message about completing a survey and being entered into a prize draw, which I deleted.

I have to laugh at the company's message on the first page here, where they tell you to dial 9 to stop their calls. Anyone with half an ounce of common sense knows not to dial anything, with so many scams going on where this can lead to being dialled through to premuim rate lines etc.  Trust no-one!

They should add to their blurb in post 1 that the reason they conduct marketing surveys is to a) get them out of TPS regs and b) SO THEY CAN SELL YOUR INFORMATION TO OTHER SALES PEOPLE.

SCUM, THE LOT OF THEM!  COLD CALLING SHOULD BE MADE ILLEGAL!

I have received calls from this company despite being TPS registered and so complined to the TPS

just had a call from this company, about an energy survey, said I could opt out by pressing 9, I did but I wont hold my breath, I expect more calls!

Lets clear this point up about TPS and Survey Calls.

Regardless of the why the data is collected and what method the data is collected by, the data can only be used for the purpose it was collected for.

When and if anyone gives any information to one of these companies( known as DATA CONTROLLERS by the Data Protection Act), that information can only be used for the purpose of completing that survey.
So, if a company who collects data FOR THE PURPOSE of completing a survey and then sells said data or identifiable information on to other companies, they are without a doubt BREAKING the DATA PROTECTION RULES. They are ONLY allowed to sell on the anonymous survey results and absolutely not any identifiable info such as names and phone numbers.

Forget about the TPS, it's a self governing body and they don't care about their members breaking the rules. They simply compile all their complaints and forward them at periods onto the ICO.

Unfortunately TPS states on its website that it does not cover Market Research calls.  Probably because those companies fund it.  Sometimes it seems that all these, so called, regulatory bodies do nothing for the people they are supposed to help, they are just there for show.
