Well, I just left a message pointing out that I never buy from cold calls, in fact I never answer 08*** numbers. I didn't give them my telephone number, and the email address I gave is a "throwaway" Hotmail address so I won't be too troubled if they start spamming that address.

Have been receiving continual calls from 08451113111 and I am registered on TPS. They never leave a message but whenever I get back from work my phone has recorded that they keep ringing. Is there anything I can do to stop them keep ringing? Thanks.

08451113111 just called me at 2048hrs, what is that all about?  Total pest and I'm TPS too

Missed a call from this number today. Tried to call them back and there was just classical music playing back to me down the phone.

I have received about 20 calls from these [***] for the last 10 months we are on TPS they ask me if I am Ian Huntley yes the guy who murdered the girls at Soham,I`ve had scottish accents welsh accents english accents and accents that I dont understand from abroad ,no doubt I will get another tonight ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Just had a call from 0845 111 3111.  Said they were Nationwide Home Improvements of Swansea SA6 8RE and they were promoting loft insulation.  Was furious as it was 08.50pm and got put through to a manager called Steve.  Asked him where they got my details.  They said it was a database.  He gave me their address and phone number 0800 633 5769 but the number they rang from was 0845 111 3111.  Told them not to ring again as I ex-directory and on TPS.  He couldn't explain where they got my number from.  I asked if he would like to be rung up so late after a busy day and he said no and started laughing as did people in the background.  I am mad as hell!!

Nation wide energy, got a bit arsey when i said not interested

My 90 year old mother keeps getting these calls and all that is there is music, it is very disconcerting for her.

Got a call from this shower today - a Welsh woman saying she was a grant adviser from 'Nationwide Energy Services' and asking me to confirm my address, yeah right as if.

I've also had a couple of missed calls from them too recently...TPS is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard these days.

Called me today (2 Nov 2011) offering access to "free" government grants via a "free, no obligation" survey, claiming to have got my home address and phone number from the electoral roll (I'm on the restricted list with my local authority so it should not be given out) or from a gas / electricity supplier (she didn't know which ...).  I'm on the TPS list so should not get ANY unsolicited calls - which didn't phase her.  Reported to TPS today . http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html

this number called at 1150hrs on saturday morning, it appears to be a company but no message left. the caller has woken up my husband who works nights, he is very irate

Received a all from this number yesterday and decided to complain to the TPS after doing a complete background check on them.

They should have known I was on TPS first of all and secondly would be a total waste of time for me and them to try and do home improvements, as the house is modern and is also owned by a private housing association.

So ergo on those two grounds, I shouldn't have gotten a call from them at all.
