this is RTA if they ring again I am going to put them on hold and carry on with my work this is not the first time they have rang and I have asked to be took off their data base, they obviously dont want to do that so lets see how long they will hold for the boss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a company called RTA Business Services.
They asked me if I want them to valuate my business (in terms of what it is worth) and if I may be interested in selling the business.

They phone everyday and when I answer they hang up.  I now have their phone number at the side of the phone, check caller id and ignore the call

What a total [***]! it rang my office and just hung up.  Why I would like to hang that muppet.

JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND THEY HUNG STRAIGHT UP

Asked for the business owner, I said they were unavailable and asked to take a message, she made some excuse about her colleague writing the email down wrong, and whilst ranting, hung up.

Rung me five times today - just told the last person I would sue them if they dared contact me again.  Let's see what happens!

This is the second time she has called. I wish they would give up.

Never heard of RTA Business Services but they just called me, too, then hung up when I answered. Sheesh how I hate that!!

Get quite a few of these hang-up calls. Always thought it was a re-dialler finding out which numbers were 'live' and which weren't but who knows? Don't know what's worse, these silent hang-up calls or unwanted incoming fax calls - seeing as we don't have a dedicated fax number, it's more than a little irritating.

Don't believe it - 10.25am today (Friday) and yet ANOTHER call from these people - same result - put phone down without saying anything. Wonder HOW much it's costing them to keep phoning people and then not bothering to speak? :)

This is the third time they've called now, hung up as soon as I answered!

Yet again another call, and hung up as soon as I answered. Really starting to grate now!!

Another call today, hung up when I answered. Are they not bored yet?!

Just called. As others have said, they wanted to speak to the owner. I said I wasn't available and could I take a message? They said "oh no, its fine, we'll call you back." I thought f******* great!

Yeah. They were trying to get me 3 times today (about 10AM, 1PM and 5PM), but without success. I'm curious what covert purpose of these calls is?

They keep phoning but hang up when I answer. I rang the number back and a recorded message said RTA business. I wonder if by calling them back I have been charged a high price for the call. I will not do that again but am well p~~~~~d off about the waste of my time.

They keep ringing me and i am based just round the corner from them. i have asked to be removed from the database but they do not listen. I now keep ringing them on there main landline number and not speaking 0161 975 1500 if you want to get your own back. When they ring me now i tell them the business owner passed away yesterday and i start crying they soon hang up !!!

yes just had a call from  this number asked if I was the owner of the Business and so I asked what is the call in connection with and the lady said and are you the business owner so I repeated the above and this got absolutley no where as she was not prepared to identify the reason for the call so in my book if you call someone you should say who you are and whhat you want as i had Identified my company when the caller rang. what a cheek they have............
