As with everyone else here, they keep calling me and won't remove from database.

They are indeed RTA Business Consultants and this is their contact page - http://www.rtabusinessesforsale.com/contact.asp includes email addresses and phone numbers for so called head offices. Anyone fancies it they can get hold of them now and hang up everytime someone answers - or just keep ringing and hanging up prior to them answering - see how they like it.

Job done and no more annoying phone calls it's easy.

and just how will you know which numbers to enter into this wonderful 'call blocker'

and what about the numerous numbers withheld

ahh yes I see mean a solution to this particular number but  about all the other continually changing numbers

They rang, I answered and greeted, no response, I said hello, and they hung up. Damn rude!

I have had several calls from this outfit yet I am on the serive that is supposed to bar them.

Thank you for RTA's number! I will be ringing them tomorrow for a special chat. They have been hounding me for 2 years now regarding a not at fault crash I had 2 years ago. I get around 2 calls a day/evening. Today I lost my rag and threatened to sue them and the response was "I know your address and i will come over and do you!  Nice threatening behaviour. They have the ability to change their number so that you don't recognise who the caller is to a local no.  

I want to take legal action against these guys so perhaps we could all club together and get the some stardom on watchdog tv!!

Rta ring me on a daily basis to tell me that I need to make a claim on my insurance for compensation which I had nearly 2 years ago. They are very annoying and get very aggressive when I tell them I am not interested. I have tried to tell them I will sue them and the person on the line has threatened to come round to my house and kill me!!! Nice people. I just wish I could block them and get their operation shut down.  Why is no one doing anything about these people. I blame the insurance companies for selling on my details even though I am ex directory.

When they call you write there number down and spam them back by filling in call-backs from rta company's on the internet and double glazing firms by imputing the number that shows up when they call you. Then they will get spammed all day and see how long it will be before they have to change there number pay back time.

This company is a scam. They only care about the upfront fee. Beware/ avoid/ do not welcome them near your business. They will tell u what u want to hear as far as the valuation goes, maybe lie about having a buyer ready now, then, here comes the punch, DEMAND an up front fee. This upfront fee is not written down anywhere, there is no price list, it is merely decided by the rep on the day. Like all conmen, he is trained to extract as much cash as possible at that first meeting. SHOCKING business strategy with only one winner, if u pay the upfront fee, it isn't you.

This is RTA Business Consultants who are known crooks. They offer to sell your business but they have no interest in selling your business at all. Their real motive is to trick you into signing a barely legal contract that they know you will be forced to cancel or renege on and when you do they’ll send you a bill for £5000. If you don’t pay, they take you to court. This is how they make their money, not by selling businesses. Google Paul O’Reilly RTA consultants and read the Daily Mirror article on this crook.

But if they are calling on your landline number you would have to get those calls routed through to your smartphone. This can be done if you have a VoIP landline but not a BT landline, not without paying BT an arm and leg to re-route the calls anyway!
