Phoned asking for the director (not by name), we asked who in particular they were looking for and they were rude then hung up.

We get at least one phone a day from this number ! It's a real pain as you interupt the work that you are doing to answer the phone and they just hang up!! Can anything be done about this company as it would appear they do this to a lot of other people?

They called me yesterday and hung up when I answered tw4ts!


Called again today and asked for the Business Owner.

I twigged the number straight away - I replied  "I'm afraid he is in prison for arson and endangering life"

The female caller replied "I'm sorry what was that?"

I replied "Yeah he petrol bombed a telemarketing company that kept calling him, they only just managed to get everyone out"

She replied "I'm sorry to have troubled you" and hung up

ROFL - will be interesting to see if they call back  :o)

Calls are from a call center.  Keeps call saying its Private and Confidential to ???????? but wont give any kind of information, but can be quite roude at times.  The resraining order will remaine on!!!!!!

RTA has a freephone number which is 0800393664 - perhaps we should all return the favour to them :)

sick of them ringing asking if ill sell my business.... have arranged for then to call and value it..... when they come i shall be just ask them how it feels to have someone waste their time!!

Had these people ring me 5 times today, 3 times yesterday, leaving stupid messages such as "it's an answer phone" then hanging up.
Phoned the free phone number (0800 393 664) and told the lady on the end of the line to stop harassing us and wasting our time, and to stop filling my answer phone up with stupid messages. She said the number would be removed from the system. She didn't sound very convincing to be honest. But I told her I'd be pursuing the matter further if they continue to call.
Hopefully this'll be the end of RTA calling, but I don't hold out much hope.

I've lost count of the number of calls I've had from these people.  It got to the stage where, when I saw their number come up, I wouldn't answer the phone.  They were calling, on average, 3 times a day.  After they tried on Tuesday I decided that I would answer the next time they rang and, if necessary, tell them that I would report them for harrassment.  When the guy asked if I'd had any thoughts about selling the business I asked him if people within his organisation ever communicated with each other, to which he answered "sometimes".  Obviously not often enough.  I told him that I couldn't remember the number of calls I'd had from them and each time they were told the same thing - no I do not want to sell my business and have no intention of doing so in the foreseeable future.  He actually said that he would remove my details from the database and gave me the website address for the Telephone Preference Service.  For those of you who are interested it is www.tpsonline.org.uk and, once registered, it will be fully activated in 28 days.

Second call of the day, different guy.  Asked him the same question about whether people in his organisation communicate with each other.  Response - when they want to.  I went through the same speel and all I got was "sorry".  Roll on 28 days' time.

Just got a call a woman asked for the business owner i asked what it was in connection with the woman said they needed the owners details i knew this number as a nuisance caller we get  them all the time so i shouted across the showroom hey john some f***a wants to know who owns the business my colleague shouted tell them to f**k off i said no the nosey b******s want to know then they hung up we get them all the time and treat them like the idiots they think we are they should be banned every 0845 number that calls we treat the same.

I did that with a double glazing company - they never phoned again :-)

I had them on this morning asking for a fictious person i said oh im sorry he died last week the ruthless heartless piece of dog excrament on the other side of the telephone had the cheek to say oh right so who owns it now.
I told him what i thought of them two hours later they rang again every time he spoke i said fu*k off fu*k off he had the cheek to say i was weird ha ha when im quiet i get a kick out of winding them up but if its busy when they call i ignore there call.
Also Call there freephone number 0800 393664 as many times as you can even if its an answer machine hold until it kicks off as many people as possible who call them should run quite a bill up for them even if its for 10 seconds it all counts.
Ive just rang them withheld my number messed them about for 17mins 52 seconds i said i.d been given there number to sell my business and kept saying sorry can you hold then eventually said to the [***] on the other side its annoying aint it when some fool messes you about wasting your time ah bless him he wasnt happy.
They ask your postcode then they tell you the street give them a bogus door number give them a fictious name a fictious business type and trading name fictious telephone number what your business is how much you.ve had it valued at they ask who valued it make any name up these idiots know nothing if you plan it before you call them at no cost to yourself you can have quite a laugh listening to them snivelling to you yes sir of course sir but the best satisfaction is knowing your getting back to them and its costing them for the pleasure of it

have just called them back on 0161 975 1500 landline number from below (thank you for this). after they called and hung up. I do run a business but my landline is ex dir and also my home phone. Think they must have got this from Vista Print. as this is the only place I have told this is a business number as its on my new cards. Not yet issued......They have said they will take it off as wrong number but databases get renewed every 3 months!!!

Getting several calls a day from this number. They are all terminated as soon as the call is answered.
