called asked for home owner

It's now just over six weeks since Weatherseal called us from this number, and they have not called again. So it seems that if you're forceful enough, they *can* take you off their list. There is no need to speak to a supervisor or give them your details; just tell them you're registered with the TPS and that you'll make a formal complaint if they call again.

Said they were marketing for Feature Homes to replace kitchen and doors free of charge. Calling from call centre in Dundee, but ignored request for address of head office of company.

As for TPS, she wanted me to hold and someone would speak to me about that.

No way was I being kept on hold for an unsolicited call.

When they called me: This is a company called "future homes" they ask about either buying a kitchen, or featuring your home after they have fitted a dicounted one. On the occaission you can immiediatly fob them off, they just hang up. They are particularly frequent and annoying!

They tried with the Future Homes magazine scam.

Called at 6.20pm, noisy background then line went dead.

Ian from Future Homes asked to speak to property owner - I said that I was the homeowner and I told him politely, but firmly, that I didn't want to speak to him.   Fortunately I began to put the phone down as the abuse that followed was appalling!  TPS registered - how do we stop these people.

First ever call from this number. Same kind of call as above.
Asked for householder, quickly replied that if you didn't know my name wasn't interested. Didn't give chance to respond.

Called at 16.00 on Feb. 10th 2009. Hung up as soon as I answered. I also am TPS registered but that appears to be ignored.

these people are fraudulent people and up to no good, they are never clear what they are about or what they want. They are persistent to the point of harassment. It is sad that in this country the criminals have all the rights and they can do what they want. These people SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THESE KIND OD CALLS.

Received multiple calls from this number - all around 19:30 - 20:00, very annoying as this is when we try to get kids off to bed. When I answer they just hang up! We are registered with TPS.

Identified as Feature Homes. Asked to speak to the home owner, then mentioned home improvements offer in this area. Advised not interested and on TPS. He asked how long had I been registered, I said years, he said I needed to re-register every year as this was likely why we're back on their mailing list. I advised to take us off their list for future and no more calls. He apologised for ringing and said he would remove me. I am also XD.

Believe this company is tied to Weatherseal (fits with comments on earlier pages saying Weatherseal used this number to ring them) and had a lot of hassle from them calling a while back. Awful company.

Today's call was not abusive at all - very pleasant actually, for a sales call - but I have had abusive calls from Weatherseal in the past, so maybe just got lucky with who I spoke to.

Every day this week and last but no one on the other end.
Extremely annoying and sure it's either Weatherseal, Feature Homes or some other company selling double glazing.

This company are Weatherseal or Feature Homes or anything else they like to call themselves.
I have been receiving silent calls every day, sometimes twice a day for the last week and a half, despite calling the number back and requesting that they stop.

Also reported to the TPS on three occasions.
This is bordering on harassment?

Just read through all the post and totally bemused that this company is getting away with this due to the fact that they have been fined in the past for exactly the same thing.

About time the government outlawed sales calls to give people peace of mind.
I can imagine pensioners somewhere scared out of their wits because they are getting silent calls and don't know who it is.

Sorry, forgot to say that I called Weatherseal and asked to speak to the Managing Director.

When asked who I was and why I wanted to speak to him, I told the operator that his company keeps calling me and I wanted to know why.

I wish I had his home number?
