I asked them how they got my number, they said random calls as I am ex directery and on the Call Prevention Registry, feature homes was there name

These rascals are from Weatherseal, using the name "Feature Homes". I asked where they got my phone number and they said it was from their database. I told them that my number is ex-directory and on the TPS list and asked for the contact details of their head office to make a complaint - they then hung up. I found their head office phone number, it is 01606 866500 and I have make a complaint to TPS also, I suggest anyone else who is bothered by them does the same http://complaints.tpsonline.org.uk/Consumer/

We're TPS registered but had a call from this number today.  On answering I heard only silence, smelled a rat and I hung up before wasting any more time.

Contacted the TPS to complain about this company continually calling me and about the silent calls, also found out that this company had previously been fined for the same thing, obviously the fine was not a large enough deterent.

Calls stopped for about a week but started again today, even after ringing the number back last week and getting an automated response to delete my number, seems I have only confirmed that there is a person at this address now and have no doubts they will call again.

Thank you to the person who posted the name and addresses of the directors, seems one of them is only up the road from me, see how he likes me knocking on his door every time I get a call.

I have had dealings with this company in the past when they fitted a patio door, took them over a year to come and sort the mess they made of it, would not recommend anyone getting involved with them, I wouldn't take windows or doors from them if they were free.

I suggest the more people who complain then the power that be will have to take action.

Just off to TPS & Ofcom websites to do just that, again.

I am receiving repeated calls from this company.  I have asked them to remove my number from their calling list as I am meant to be ex-directory but they have ignored my request.

Another call today. Same as many people, I got someone unaware they were actually on a phone call, so I took advantage and hung up. Their auto-dialler system is AWFUL!!

Have tried telling them to take me off their mailing list so many times it's not even funny. They simply DO NOT listen.

Just complained on the TPS website. Will now do this every time they call me.

Office noise in the background. No one replied when I said hello many times so I hung up. I'm on TPS too.

They keep calling.......

Just had a call.
I must say I was intrigued by this one. I was called by a 'gentleman' with a polite, matured voice who asked;
"May I speak to the home owner?"
I pointed out that I am staying in rented accommodation, he said;
"I'm sorry to have troubled you"
and we ended the conversation.
There was no background noise and it didn't sound as if he was two feet from the microphone as they usually do,
in fact it sounded very much like a personal call.
I called the number back and herd a message which said I was called by WEATHERSHIELD, although I am not
entirely sure if that is who actually called?? If you know what I mean?

This is the number of Weatherseal Windows or the will tell you they are from Feature Homes - I used to be one of those nice friendly people that phoned you to offer doubles glazing, door, conservatories etc. Can I say to the TPS people it doesn't stop you getting these calls - read the TPS letter you got, it tells you on that if you personally have to raise court action against these companies.

To Alan 24th Feb - you say Weatherseal has been doing this since 2008, your dates are wrong, I done it in 1994 for a long time and they were around long time before that, the two mentioned are only a few of a multi national company. Brian Kennedy is the owner, one of the top 10 millionare in the uk. They bought over Space Kitchens and Zenith Windows.

Can I point out to those that are on the TPS list to read the letter you got from TPS- it tells you it will not stop these calls but can help reduce them and every time you get these calls to take their name and number and when the same company phones you at lease 3 times YOU have to raise a court action against the company concerned, YOU will be the one that has to pay the court fees, all I suggest is just tell them no thank you, its a job these people have chosen to do or do you want to pay your taxes to keep them on benefits? I used to be one of them

This number called me on 11.30 Sun 29 March 09. As soon as i picked up they hung up. Googled the number to see who it was and got here. I am also XD wish there was more we could do!!!

2 silent calls in the last 2 days.

if this is Weatherseal then we have been harrassed by them in the past and asked them to take us off their database - obviously they haven't...

called and hung up when i answered.  i am TPS registered it doesnt seem to stop these calls much

I have been told that this is Weatherseal and I've already been conned by one ot their salesmen.If you call the number and hold you can get into a dialogue which allows you to take your number off their database.

Also had them call twice in last week.
