calls nearly EVERY day, they never give up trying to sell their latest deals

I was with SKy for 4 years but moved to a place were landlord won't allow satellite dish. Have contract with Virgin now, whom I am happy with. I've told the Sky people this but still call me every couple of monthd.

Yet another silent call when answering. We were with Sky from day one of Sky launch many years ago.  I simply don't wish to be with them anymore.  I have told them this and don't need to justify my reasons for moving elsewhere to anybody.  Why the **** can't they just leave us alone.

This is the second time that I have received a call(the firt one's caller ID was different). On both ocassions as I did not recognise the numbers I did not answer. After a little investigation it seems that these calls were linked in someway to SKY.

Sky have called nearly everyday, usually more than once, for the best part of 6 months now.  The message left is always silent!  Even if you answer, there's rarely someone at the other end.  Such calls have really upset my elderly Grandmother who doesn't have (or want) a modern phone with caller ID so doesn't know not to answer, and doesn't even understand what SKY is!

Getting sick to death of this number ringing me now! I am already with Sky and have told them several times that if I want another product off them, I will ring THEM. Calling me all the time like they do is making me feel like going with Virgin or Freesat. Whats worse is they call me late in the evening, and my little baby is usually in bed when they call, sometimes waking her up. Exremely annoying!

Got a call from them today, no one on the end of the line so i looked it up here, im with sky and have the complete package, all channels and broadband, why bother calling me!!!!

This number is becoming a real nuisance - every time I pick the phone up there is nobody there and it happens 3 to 4 times a day.

i think i have figured out the scam being run by sky.they ring you,dont say anything ,then hang up.you ring 1471 to see who rang and ring back to the number when it answers you get charged!..SKY THE TAKES A PERCENTAGE FROM BT FOR HOW MANY CALLS ARE MADE TO THIS NUMBER!!

twice in last 2 days- silent calls

08452777380 keeps ringing me. two rings and then cuts out. i think it is a scam i haven't rung back as i believe i may then be charged an exorbitant amount. can you advise me?

This number has been calling me several times since Thursday last week 13/11/08. I called it once, but nobody answers you once the call has been taken. This number has now called five times since Sunday 16/11/08. This is a scam. by sky. I have asked sky about this, but they are deny this.

I have received 14 calls from this number since the 7th Nov and am getting really sick of it! I called Sky who said it was nothing to do with them and would most likely be one of the companies that tries to sell you extended warranty on your sky box. I have opted out of all contact with Sky but its still happening. On the 1 occasion I rang it back it was a message saying: 'Sky has called you and will call you back later' !!!
When I have answered the call it is silent.

We all need to find out if we can report this, and if so to whom !!??

Just received a call from this number and it hung up as soon as I answered.

Received call from 08452777380, telephone answered by wife, no person spoke on their end, just silent, again when the telephone was passed to me, there was silence...might have thought, someone would have connected through but no....VERY ANNOYING, UNWANTED LATE CALL

In 10 days this number has called 19 times! Always silent. I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service so will be reporting them.
