- NikHad various calls from this number over the last week which I sm beginning to get extremely irritated by. All cvallers have Scottish accents - tonights caller actually asked for someone else and hung up when I asked him to repeat himself.

- Joanna SmithSilent calls for about 2 weeks, up to 5 times a day. Activate my answering service and I am forced to listen to silent "messages"- because I don't know if one of these messages is urgent or important! Very frustrating. Called Sky but their customer services number is hell on wheels- no chance to speak to a real person or complain. Called back the 08452777380 number but of course- no one to talk to. Finally submitted online Ofcom complaint today.

Since I signed up to sky using my mobile, I added the number to my address book and put a silent ringtone on it. Usually does the trick.- Caller: Sky

- NathThey've been calling me for a few days and just leave silent messages or hang up but today I actually spoke to them. They were phoning to see if I wanted to upgrade my Sky package to include broadband which was ridiculous as their broadband service isn't even available in my area as I had enquired about it just a couple of weeks before.
The caller was not particularly polite and they then hung up on me when I was in the middle of a sentence!- Caller: Sky
- ElaineThis number has been calling me all bloomin' weekend, two or three times a day and annoying the hell out of me. Have not picked up at all as I have caller ID, I now find its Sky - we have their full package so god know's why they're ringing, I am x direcory number with held as well.

Received call from the number - woman with Scottish accent claiming to be from Sky and that she had a special offer. She refused to give the details of the special offer unless we gave her additional personal information. When we refused and said that we didn't agree with her asking for it as we had no way of knowing if she was really from Sky, she got upset and said that we were calling her a liar.
We have called Sky customer service and been informed that no one from their organisation contacted us today and that it wasn't them. This is a scam- Caller: Claimed to be Sky
- Tom FowlerI have a minimum of 3 calls a day from this number at all times of the day! I used to answer but there was rearly an answer so now i just end the call. It seems to be never ending. I seen others saying it is sky on this number I am a sky customer but they have no reason to ring me other than to try and sell me a bigger package that I dont want!
- SusieWWe had a call from this number at 7.16 last evening but didn't answer it as we didn't recognise it. Now we know who it is (thanks to everyone's comments, btw), we've put a bar on this number getting thru to us. If your phone provider lets you do the same, I'd strongly advise it. We can only bar 10 numbers at any one time, but it stops at least some of these idiots from getting thru to us and saves us a lot of frustration.

'We do not investigate individual consumer complaints. However, we record and monitor complaint levels. If we identify an area of concern we may raise the matter with the management of the company directly.
The information you have provided will be used for monitoring purposes. We will not respond to you about your individual complaint.
Your information will be passed to the relevant Ofcom team.'
So please go and complain and they will investigate it. - ElainePS. I sent them a link to this thread too!
- MichelleCalling every day but am not answering, yesterday left a silent voicemail 4 minutes long! Very annoying.
- MichelleJust got yet another call from this number and decided to answer this time! Scottish man saying he was from Sky and trying to offer me a deal on Sky sports/movies. Said thank you but wasn't interested. He said "but it's half price yeah?" Said I still wasn't interested and hung up. Hopefully no more calls now....

My mum just received a call from this number.
She was asked to confirm her initial, surname, first line of address nd postcode, which she did.
The scottish caller then asked for her password-and said this is usually your mothers maiden name, when she said she didn't know her password he asked for the last four numbers of her bank account number. She hung up. She then called Sky on a real number. The adviser took the phone number and said it WAS NOT A SKY NUMBER, and that the only activity on her account for the last 7 months was the call she was making at that time.
We have reported it to the poilce and got a police ref. number, I'd strongly advise you all to do the same.
