Woken up by this number - they appear to have been ringing at least once a day for months.  If it is sky I have returned their weekly junk mail marked "Mailing Preference - Return Unsolicited mail to sender" numerous times BUT THE STILL PERSIST  IN HARRASSING ME..........!!!!!!!!!!

I watch TV on average 2hrs per month - so why would I want to pay sky...!!

they just rang me at 16.51 silent call iam sick of them they ring about twice a day every day and its allways silent reported them to tps.

Blank message on answerphone, called Sky but the guy on the line just kept changing the conversation every time I bought up this number...

Guys   DONT CALL THIS NUMBER BACK !!!!!!   All you are doing is paying for a call of which The recipient receives a payment

If you must speak to them,  goto  www.saynoto0870.com  and put the number in there for an alternative  ( possibly a 0800 number )  or search the company by name

Getting phone calls everyday.. most silent. Yesterday I answered and a woman said they were calling about Sky subscription. We cancelled our subscription about three months ago as we weren't using it. I said that we weren't interested and not to call back again... Just got another call - it's driving me insane!

Just found this site thanks. Got this number on my phone two days ago. First time they have called me lately. I was a Sky subscriber but every time they put up prices I reduced the package till they wanted to charge me £16 for one mix just wasn't worth it. Since then I've had numerous letters asking me to "come back", looks like they are starting the calls now. Thing is I told them I was cancelling because of the subs prices so they know WHY. But they've now raised their prices even higher than when I cancelled!

We recently terminated our contract with sky, we got fed up of the lack of decent  programing content, the amount of repeats and the privilege of paying to watch so many adverts.

Half way through our contract they suddenly upped the monthly payment by about 40p without any reason or notification, when we enquired about it they dropped the monthly payments back to the original amount but gave no explanation.

When we first signed up with them they said we would receive £50 of M&S vouchers which we were to claim after installation, when we tried to claim for them we were told there had been a mistake and we were not entitled to them, i think someone working for Sky got our vouchers.

I don't think Sky is value for money, i have told them this but they still insist on calling to tell me about their new offers, they rung again today

Speaking for myself i have to like someone or at least not dislike them before i give them money or buy their services, i don't like Sky or their ethics, they won't be getting any more of my money.

Now When they ring up i just say "Please hold on a moment i will go and get him" gently lay down the receiver, go in the kitchen and make a cup of tea, return 10 minutes later and replace the receiver.

I called sky on  01506 677000 and the chap said he would send an email to have my number removed.  I used the option as new customer

Calls on a Sunday afternoon - totally out of order in my book - all began once I had cancelled my Sky subscription. I rang Sky on 01506 677000 and told them I was getting nuisance calls from them and wanted my number taken off the database. I was put through to customer service and had to give them my old Sky password etc. They tried to tell me the calls might be coming from associated ompanies with whom they had shared my contact details - but I told them that it was a Sky number originating the calls - if it had been other companies the calls would have come from other numbers. Eventually they did remove all contact detaila. They asked if I also wanted to be removed from mailings and I said yes.

Cancelled Sky in February 2008, after more than 15 years with them. They DO NOT GET THE MESSAGE THAT MY CURRENT SATELLITE SYSTEM IS BETTER THAN ANYTHING THEY HAVE TO OFFER - BECAUSE IT'S FREE!!!!!!!!
They continue to call a minimum of 3 times a day and never leave a message when we're out (which is damn annoying). They call at ridiculous hours and most recently today at 4.30pm - CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!!!!!!!

just had a silent call from this number. Haven't had any dealings with sky so no reason for them to call. Can't believe there is no way to stop them??

This number has also called me even though we are already with Sky and up to date with payment. It is so annoying

I am fed up of this and many other companies who call me on my mobile and my home phone. This is on a daily basis and even if I say I am not interested they continue to call. I have a block on the home phone but they manage to get by his with calls from India.

I am having a similar experience to you all, but does anyone actually know how we can stop it?! Is there someone we can complain to/report this to? Has anyone successfully stopped the calls!!

Been called by this number once a day at least for the past weeks. We are with TPS but oviously getting around this somehow (will go and register again).
Will they get the message that if we don't answer we don't want anything?? surely no means no??
