Called and woke me up (work nights). Couldn't get back to sleep. Didn't answer and they didn't leave a message -.-

08453306769 called me - I answered in time, but the other end hung up with one bleep sound.  I think its an autodialler testing numbers, for what is anybodies guess

Keeps calling at various times, initially early evening on fridays and saturdays but recently switched to later in the evening earlier in the week.  Never answered as I have a caller display and ignore numbers I don't recognise.  I'm also registered with http://www.tpsonline.org.uk so shouldn't be getting called calls.

just got a call from this number. I heard a voice say one, two. Then they hung up.

I was asked if I was the property owner and I said no. The guy on the other end hung up. I did 1471 to get the number and called back to see who they were, but just got a recorded message saying "You were called by a telemarketing company - sorry we missed you, and we will try again at a later date."

I strongly suggest that they don't.

I got a call from them a few minutes ago, picked it up, someone said "[***] hell", and hung up. Classy.

I am ex-directory and I still got the call so it must be either a mistake or an auto-dialler.

A catalogue of these calls at various times. I'm already registered with TPS so it must be cold calling or autodialling you'd think but that's not always the case. TPS isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Phone rang and caller asked to speak to the householder. Me (the householder) asked what they were selling and I was told "I am not selling anything - we can offer you a free upgrade on your doors and windows"
I hung up after saying and your not trying to sell me anything

Has rung more than once, asks for householder. Claims not to be selling anything, just doing a survey on windows at which point I put the phone down (not hang up) and wait for caller to lose interest. I am registered with tps and have now printed off a complaint form http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/cgi-bin/tps_complaints.pl
and will next time be very friendly to get the requisite details. Then let's see if tps actually does anything.

call was from a very noisy call centre, asking for the householder.
enquiring about the property. Put phone down.

Just went silent when I answered it.

Next time I'll answer it until I get the company name, and then give them a reason to wait for me ("Got to turn the cooker down"), before setting the phone down - I figure that the longer they hold on, the less time they'll be harassing other people. I'm nice like that!! :)

Called about a dozen times over past few weeks, always just silence then "the other caller has cleared".  usually weekend evenings, but this time monday midday.  We're TPS.

As above - rang and no one there. Hope to speak to someone next time.

Got a call from this number tonight. I got the same thing about upgrading windows and doors for free. I knew it would be a scam but I like wasting these peoples time so I said I was interested. I then received a call from number 08702209315. Got the same spiel from a new guy. Offer was they would send out some guy to give a free quote and design, and if the design is something they THINK they could use in a magazine then the upgrade would be free. Told them it sounded like BS and the answer I got was "I'll give it to someone else then" so your in luck guys :-D

Really annoys me though, I can see how OAP's get mixed up in scams like these.

They've called several times now, but I've not been in to take the call - until mid-day today. The chap asked to speak to the Householder. I told them they shouldn't be calling our number - we're TPS. The caller didn't apologise, but said he'd take us off his list. I'll believe it when it happens...

Missed a call from this number, pity as I work for a doors and windows company and would get on just great.  The other day someone rang from the Hydro-electric asking if I had radiators and stuff.  I kept her on the phone for 9 1/2 minutes on the pretext of looking around the house for radiators.  Turn it into a sport if these callers annoy you.  I'm supposed to be TPS as well by the way.

They called me twice now, yesterday and today, they hung up when I answered yesterday and I missed their call today but they never left a message. I hope they won't call me again ever but I guess that is like asking for the world. =(

received a call this morning, didnt think companies were allowed to call out on a sunday, but anyway, from the same number, company is called Feature Homes, person asked for the homeowner, mentioned doors and windows, i asked where they got my number from, she said they got it from the TPS?! i said i thought the TPS was meant to prevent calls of this nature, and politely asked her to remove my number from their records, and ended the call...

This number called me 08453306769 I hung up, the man got very angry that I'd done so and then called me back and shouted a load of abuse at me for being so rude.  I hung up again.
