Phone rang and caller asked to speak to the householder. I asked why they wanted the householder and was told it was my lucky day, they were in the area and could offer me a free survey for doors and windows". Told the girl I was registered with TPS and she had no idea what I was on about.  I asked what compnay they were from and was told it was Feature Homes.  Asked to speak to the supervisor, told they were all in a meeting, then John Smith came on the phone.  When John was asked about complaint procedures he hung up.

Rang off after I answered just a long beep then nothing.

They're baaaaaack! *rolls eyes*  Damned annoying if they call when trying to attend to other more urgent things.

TPS registered here too.

This number continuously calls our company switchboard and direct dial numbers.  It is frustrating and time consuming.  Despite speaking to a supervisor, our number has not been removed from their database!

Absolutely sick of this number and sales calls when you call back you just get a recorded message PLUS we are registered with TPS and X Directory - "What is the point"

we have had seven calls from this number in the last few days without any messages being left.  As with other people here, the TPS registration seems not to be working for this company at least.

this number was from Weatherseal, as I had a few minutes previously had a call from an 0845 number asking if I would like free windows, she would not give details of campany, so I said "yes" and she replied a manager would ring me shortly. SO it IS Weatherseal trying to sell their crappy windows!

Hi - I wrote to the TPS to say I was on their list but was still getting calls, the caller said they weren't bothered by TPS.. Their reply:

Rang and went dead when I picked it up. Googled the number and found this site.

Caller ID: 08453306769 called me today Monday 28/04/08 at 10.18am,when i answered it they hung up,googled the number and seen this site.This is not the first time they have done it but It's about time something was done about this,i was reading some of the other comments and the person who was woken up and could not get back to sleep,well i was night shift when it happened to me and like them was fully awake and when i went to work that night i was like a freaking zombie all night.So please someone do something about this,surely there must be someone out there that can.

My friend got a call from this number 08453306769 and she was asked the "How many windows would you replace" question to which she replied "365" They hung up on her.

The thing is though, she is a live in caretaker at an old stately home that was deliberately built with a window for every day of the year. She wasn't telling them porkies.

0845 3306769 called today at 11:30am and hung up as soon as I answered. This is an ex directory number but we keep getting marketing calls for whoever had the number before.

TPF is no use if your phone number is in a load of marketing databases before you even get it issued.

i'm back, and staggered that these guys are still doing this.

Usual script again - "would you be interested in free doors and windows".

Got a young girl this time so i went straight to the point and asked who she worked for, where they were based etc.

She originaly as usual said future homes, but straight away said they were Weatherseal.

Call centre based in Dundee.

The weatherseal number (which im on hold to get to the complaints department atm) 01606 866 500.

Going to TPS again....

I hate these guys.

Possible result. (just got off the phone)

Spoke to a nicely spoken man at weatherseal, whom after i had finished ripping his ear off at his companies appauling sales tactics said he would take my number off their sales database and send written confirmation that this had happened.

I can then take this written confirmation as evidence to TPS and the ICO if they call again.

I think quoting "the company secretary of Weatherseal signed a LEGALLY binding document (With the ICO) stopping this type of activity within his company back in August 2007", helped.

So hopefully that has worked, otherwise i've probably signed myself up to a bunch of mail spam instead.

Complaint into TPS.

Again.

This is the Feature Home part of the Weatherseal company.  Its the first in a series of 3 calls where they attempt to say you will recieve free windows and doors or even a conservetory.  All through these 3 calls they do not listen to you.  I asked specifically "is this a measure up for free windows and doors" but this fell on deaf ears.  I now enjoy getting their sales people to attend at the house.  I DO NOT let them in.  I explain that if they continue to waste my time on the phone then i will waste their time.  I have enlisted with the telephone preference company but Weatherseal still contact me against the law.  After a sales person has called the telephone calls stop for about 6 months.  Iv contacted weatherseal direct who claim they use a call centre agency to obtain custom and cannot be held responsible for who they call.  My answer to that was tell them they aint gettin paid and they may change their views,  Fact is Weatherseal are well in on it.
