Sorry above should say Home Study !!!  Just rung number back and it is saying Weatherseal - quite who this Mrs Spalding is selling Home Study Courses - by the way she has rung nearly every school in Essex!

We are getting calls from this number regarding home study packs, we are a school. When we call the number back it is a recorded message fom Wetherseal or something similar

I'm reluctantly working for Weatherseal at the moment, until the other employers I'm contacting finally secure me a better job.

Feature Homes IS the alias of Weatherseal, I believe it was also used by Space Kitchens whose call centres have now been shut down due to complaints (meaning that Weatherseal will now offer you kitchens as well).

We were told that all TPS numbers were removed from the data last month, so TPS customers shouldn't be bothered any more (I haven't spoken to anyone claiming to be on TPS since). Every employee has also been given sheets stating that they must reveal the Weatherseal name if the customer asks where you are calling from.

If you ask to be removed from the database, the caller will pass you over to a supervisor who needs to take your details (surname, address and telephone number) so they can be sent off to head office and filed on the "do not disturb" list. If you don't provide these details, they can't remove you from the system. If the employee doesn't pass you over to a supervisor when you ask, they're breaking the law.

Each employee enters a code after every call. Even if you say you're not interested, you remain in the data. Similarly, if you say you live in a council house, they still keep you in the data in case you were lying. The only way to be removed is to ask, or sign up to TPS.

1st off caller having chat with 'co-worker'. When finally she spoke to me she asked if I had received a letter from them about pure. I said no and she hung up.

Phone rang and answered within 2 rings. No one on the end of the line and no attempt to leave a messag on my answerphone. This appears to be the same scam that recently resulted in a maximum (joke) fine being imposed upon a well known company. The governing bodies must sort this problem now,

Now that I have seen the previous entries I note that the company involved here are actually Weatherseal. I intend to write to my MP/MSP to get them to do something about this. In the meantime why don't we vote with our feet and buy nothing from this company. Wait and see how long it takes for them to get their appointment filing for bankruptcy!

I have an answer phone and it log at least 6 calls all from 08453306769 when i returned the call it was from a company called weatherseal trying to sell windows and doors when i said i did not require any doors or windows the next question was do i need a conservatory and i said no then do i want a porch and so on all though there sails jargon.

5 quickly repeated calls from this number to our business number. On the 05th call when they were asked who they were they said "Fashion Homes" and where they were they said "Dundee". Of course this is more likely to be false. No more calls after asking who they were and strongly suggestiong that authorities could get involved. - Idiots

Mostly get calls from this number on Fridays??? Never answered as fed up with all the scamming going on with these numbers. Have to wonder how many people call this number back and then how much money they make from these calls just for annoying the hell out of people. TPS does nothing to stop this.

Received call today at 11:34. Just talking in background then hung up.

Hello Guys and Gals, think yourself fortunate, that you didnt employ them "they are all a bunch of crooks"!! please believe me/us, we had windows and doors installed, and decided to have a conservatory? Turned out the Builders, from Fife, simply arrived on our doorstep, and asked where will I start??
and, as it turned out, began building, as we found out, not even a Building Warrant? finished firewall, foundations, but as retired houseowners, lovely Weatherseal, NOT, wanted to throw!! it up couple days later? But was advised, if we allowed that, they would have gone By, Bys? and we? would have to have it all taken down, as would have been sent a WRIT!!  tHAT WAS IN 2007, AND EVBEN HAD TO CONSULT A sOLICITOR, TO DEAL,and they refuse to answer to him? but at last through GE, the enforced builder to make good the ground etc, and its still not correct,!! plus I haqd lots calls like you folkes, also x/directory/anonreject too

I have had the pleasure of working at Weatherseal offices in Stockport....and yes it was the worst thing i ever did! the managers were rude, all the staff were treated like sh.t, if u didnt hit targets u couldnt go home...oh and when it came 2 pay day u would be lucky if u got a penny! when i complained 3 times about not getting paid they pretended like id never worked there and said my name wasnt on the system. i then had 2 bring somebody in for them to take me seriously! i was owed £250 and i actually got £80 after going in 5 times speaking 2 different managers! NEVER WORK IN A CALL CENTRE. Oh and the person on the end of the line is mostly innocent n just tryin 2 finish thier shift...u never knw they could have been there 4 weeks trying to get the target. haha

Hi, i have actually worked in the weatherseal call centre, i felt rotten for having to call people at all times in the day with alot of rubbish about windows and doors, but it paid the bills. Its not the best job around but hey..... nothing wrong with it. The numbers all come from a database, that the callers dont have access too, we Can list you as TPS but that just puts you back through the system to another unfortunate soul. These calls cannot and will not be stopped, the simplest thing for you to do is put the phone right down. We are humans, just like eveyone else that has commented on here....

just googled weather seal as i am 16 and looking for work, a freind at college said its easy to get work there on the phones and you can get away with anything (  apprantly ). so i presume its a load of ruff [***] getting hired and winding every1 up.

Everyone dislikes cold callers,for the obvious reasons but does anyone actually consider the people who have to carry out these calls?? we must remember that these people are only trying to make a living,it is after all,extremely hard to get jobs these days,sometimes its like a last resort to some people,perhaps we should be a bit more lenient on them,I especially do not like street sellers either,they may be doing great work for charities,but dont bother people in the streets with their irritating cheery faces and banter,do it in another way!!

The job is sh*t. I only started my first shift yesterday and I felt bad calling all these people who were rude to me whcih i dont blame them for. You get treated like crap, you also get shouted at by the managers to het these BITES!! and hit a target of 10 on each shift.  My friend just recentely got reduced to tears by a caller. Next time you pick up a call from weatherseal try to be nice even if you dont want anything.

my daughter been working there for 3 weeks and not only has she found it demoralising she not even been paid--what a disgrace of a company-made to stand up if she dont get a bite\!!!! what a pile of rubbish-i strongly believe that if people want new windows, doors or a conservatory theyl find a company, oh and lastly my daughter is not'thick' just wantin bit of cash before starting college!!
