This number phoned this morning. I have caller display and did not recognise the number, so did not answer. I am also registered with the T.P.S.

Steve, said to have been phoning from Edinburgh. Accent difficult to understand, poor lad. I don't fancy his evening ahead.
"Feature Homes" was the alleged name of the company.

He could not give me the address of company nor a freephone number to contact and request not to be called. He did not know the number he was calling from. His supervisor was busy and he could not ask any of his colleagues as they were all talking on phones. It's a hard life......
Same old patter. Sounded like the usual Space Kitchens/Weatherseal script.
All three will not get any of my custom of course.

Caller said this is Feature Home Marketing and can I speak to the owner of the house, when I said I was not the owner they just hung up immediately.

Missed a call from 0845 330 6769 this afternoon. Tried doing a google search on this number to find out who it is and this page came up. Am reassured that it is just a cowboy sales company so thanks to everyone for your comments. I'm TPS registered too - what is the point of TPS if this kind of call is allowed to slip through the net because the company making the calls knows how to abuse the loopholes in the system? Next time I get a call from this number I will answer and try to keep them on the line if poss just to waste their time too. Alternatively answering the call with a good whistle blast might work and would certainly make me feel better!

Nobody there when I answered.

I have been called 3 times in a week; the first time the person was very kind and the last time a certain Sarah called and when I said I had already been called she hang up without a word.
They are a nuisance!

Background noise heard but no-one answered

I had them call me "doing market research". I'm TPS'd and have anonymous call rejection. I know that if you ask who at this point you wont find out so I agreed to let them call me back. Weatherseal called and I listened for a bit and then became offensive. Not long after they hung up they rang me back and issued veiled threats saying "we know where you live". Stupidly I made threats back. I contacted the police and was advised that I could end up in more trouble than them so I dropped it. In August 2007 Weatherseal company secretary Martin Del manso signed an undertaking for Weatherseal not to abuse the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. But they are still acting the same. Complain to ICO again and get these idiots stopped. I can't do anything because I was stupid. But everyone else should complain.

Recieved phone call at 13:30 on 06/03/08, was treated to a young woman conversing with her colleague about her sexual exploits the previous night followed by her randomly mashing buttons, this lasted about 5mins. It was unexpected i'll give it that.

08453306769 called, I let the answering machine get it but they didn't leave a message.

they have called me numerous times in the past few weeks just hang up when i answer i also have missed quite a few from them when i dial 1471 the message says they are tele marketing company.

They hung up on me answering.  Which is annoying as I've only just had the phone installed and I'm ex-directory and only my family and friends have the number.

08453306769 rang again and after a few seconds silence a bloke said 'Angela-I've got a bite', then asked to speak to the home owner. I replied with the standard sigh and 'It's a rented house' but I actually got a 'Thanks for your time'!

They have phoned four times today and hung up each time I have answered.

I've received a call from this number this morning said they were doing a survey on windows and doors - they hung up when it was stated that my number was registered with TPS - shows they are scared of the consequences.

So welcome Weatherseal to complaint central ... to paraphrase Clint : Go Ahead punks (abuse my rights) you've just made my day !!

I've complained this morning to the TPS about them. Hopefully they are already on the case from the other complaints to them from other users of this site.

I've complained to the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office) this morning about them - as stated in an earlier message here : the company secretary of Weatherseal signed a LEGALLY binding document (With the ICO) stopping this type of activity within his company back in August 2007

- yet Weatherseal are clearly continuing to breach not only the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations but also the Data Protection Act and are masquerading as a market research organisation when they clearly are not which is also illegal.

As such and on the basis of not just mine but all the complaints on this site (there is enough evidence since August 2007 here) to ask for the ICO to clamp down rather hard on the parent company - hopefully in the shape of a wallet busting fine that will finally make them stop abusing the law and annoying us all.

Hello I am from Pure in Southampton..I asked how he got my number..was told it was in his database..I told him to remove it I am ex-directory...then I hung up

These idiots called me three times today on my work 'phone (I run a business from home). The first two calls were dead lines the third went:
Me: Good afternoon [My business name]
Berk: ..ucking ell I.. Oh hello is this a business?
Me: Who's calling?
Berk: Pure of Southampton
Me: It is a business but I think you might have the wrong number
Berk: Sorry
End of call

Weatherseal yesterday, Pure today and who knows what tomorrow.
Yup we are TPS registered too.
