- terry| 2 repliesLooks like your the sado cos you paid up for something you can do for free. What you need ti realise is all the people on this site are not paying anyt
hing. NOW WHO'S SAD! - Nan replies to terry| 1 replyIsn't it strange how people come on here with positive posts out of the blue? I wonder what brings them here? After all, if you have good dealings with a company you thank them personally, you do not suddenly decide to find a website like this to post on? I wonder who James works for?
- Simon replies to james11Really James, just another idiot employee or friend of that other idiot Davit White I'm guessing?
Why would you bother calling trading standards regarding a company which you say helped you get a rates reduction?
Ohh and James / David, this may come as a little surprise to I'll educated people like you so get ready!!! Microsoft Word has a spell and grammar checker; if all of your fake aliases on here didn't have appalling grammar it would be a little more convincing! - terry replies to NanCould it be Britannia law lol. Good point Simon perhaps we should all check with trading standards every company we're happy with! David thinks we're as stupid as he is. Did u compare the signatures on all your letters Simon
D4 - not the BBC replies to Jeff| 2 repliesIgnore all letters and threats From Britannia Law. It has the word Law in the title. Big deal. It is just a scam. They can't take you to court. They would get laughed out of any court. The woman who answered the phone took a while to think up an imaginary name, when i repeated a different name she couldnt remember the name she first gave me. I just spoke to a raher crazy, abusive man on the phone, so funny the crap he came out with, for some reason he kept calling me mr BBC. Told him i would see him in court for fraud, he wont bother us again, probably just move onto easier prey.
- terry replies to not the BBC| 1 replyThat must be the so called David white you spoke he's Scum & spineless and his business is near its end.
- not the BBC replies to terryhe wouldn't say who he was, he just kept being abusive. the strangest thing was when I introduced myself and said I was investigating claims of fraud on behalf of a third party he became more agitated. he said he knew exactly what it was about, he said he knew who i was and he knew about "all the other stuff" I have been doing. Bearing in mind I had never heard of Britannia until my first contact today, I did think this was rather a strange reaction. I asked what he meant but he refused to answer. He just kept repeating that he could order a hundred telephones from Virgin and he would have a contract with them? I have no idea what that means.
- TommyHi all afraid to say spoke to some fella from trading standards and he informed me that yes entered into contracts, so not really a lot can be done, and he also said that they would only be allowed to look into these cases if money had been paid. Judging by the people on here though a lot have not paid. I do think it's a scam in the sense you can do it yourself but get led to believe they would be able to gain us more of a reduction or rebate than if we were to do it ourselves!! I guess it's a lesson learnt no more calls like this are being taken at my shop!
- Mick replies to terry| 1 replyHi Terry, Yes the signatures all have the same handwriting ! I have four letters and they all match from so called different Departments, also the downloaded N1 court claim form is a joke.
Pleased all the traffic from this forum is ranking higher on google, when you type "Britannia Law Ltd Business Rates" this forum is top of the page ! - Aunt sallyI believe it is the guy named david white who holds the key he is the only one of the company to get involved which makes me wonder to be honest. He sounds like a thug and a bully and I wouldn't be at all surprised if some members of staff are intimidated by his manor if his outbursts on here are anything to go by I don't think I would like to work for him!! As for the info about people's parents etc is relevant they are grown men after all I bet their folks are not even aware of this scenario especially if they ate not in the uk! I think the company is watching this so amusingly they are making it more popular all by themselves ha ha. I reckon mr whites days are numbered especially If that attitude is frowned upon ! Let's hope :)
- terry replies to MickHi mick yeah i thought it strange with the signatures, looks like there's only one person working there. I've just received N1 court form your right it's a really bad photo copy.
Glad to see we're no 1 on Google lol - P BOAST replies to Val Farhall| 2 repliesHi yes I would love to see it as I have got these idiots demanding money saying I entered into a verbal contract etc and don't know where to go from here thanks
- Kes| 1 replyHas anyone else been given a court date by Britannia Law?
- Simon replies to KesNo, and nobody ever will be!
The best thing to do is just ignore them and not worry about it, keep the idiots on the phone as long as you possibly can to waste their time knowing that whilst their on the phone with you they're not using that time to speak to someone who is more naive.
Nothing will come of it at all; all they are trying to do is frighten people into paying. If they ever get a successful conviction, I'll eat my own head! - valfrhall@btinternet.com replies to P BOASTHi P BOAST...
just send me an email and I will forward the letter...I think Simon is right, no one will ever get a court date, they rely on honest people who are frightened of court action so they pay up ... Which is exactly what I was just about to do before i found this forum... I had even written the cheque..
Nasty nasty people. - valfarhall@btinternet.com| 3 repliesStupid me... didn't have my glasses on there...my correct email address is there now..
- Caller: Britannia Law Limited
- Tracyhi everyone, i last posted on page 11 when we were at breaking point with britannia law. I read all the other posts and felt relieved that we were't alone.
We had the N1 form along with the threatening letters and of course the enlightening phonecalls up to 10 times a day!.
Someone advised removing ourselves from the telemarketing list, and (fingers crossed) the calls have stopped. weve now been scumbag free for over a month. I made a complaint to trading standards and also watchdog, we warn everyone that we do business with to steer clear of britannia law.Although a huge pressure is gone the stress of the last 6 months has pushed my mum to sell her shop as she couldnt face the torrent of abuse again, and she feels very silly for being dupted.
This post is really a thankyou because we didnt know where to turn but the other posts offered options and a chance of getting rid of britannia law.
I really hope everyone on this site gets the result they want and britannia law get what they deserve! - PAUL replies to valfarhall@btinternet.com| 8 repliesHi.
Just been contacted by another so called law firm Proctor Law based in Nottingham as well trying the same thing as McLaren & Fitch when I told her I was on to there scam she laughed & put the phone done. Keep passing it on that remember business rates appeal is free. - PAUL replies to P BOASTDon't worry just tell them to do one it's a scam they can't do nothing tell them you are reporting them to the police
- terry replies to PAUL| 7 repliesDavid White's facebook as strangely disappeared but a few weeks ago when i was checking out his friends I came across his brother Pete White who was advertising sales vacancies in nottingham so I checked the job site it was on and the company was Proctor Law in Nottingham .
Cheating people must run in the family so lets hope he's only got the one brother lol.
