I just got call about Grant Money from the Goverment but the number is odd the number is 970-002 and when I try to call back it wouldnt not let me call back,plus they call my cell phone.
I asked them why and from the Grant Money Goverment and after that they hand up I think they got mad at me have them repeat it to me,becasue I know its not from the Goverment becase first part I cant understand them from his name,so i know something happend I seen on tv about spams about this and i know something is going on about this,so i just repeat its from Grant Money Goverment and they handup about it. And i told to my husdand about it i told them about it and he said it is ITS NOT TRUE AT ALL ABOUT THIS PHONE CALL AND THE NUMBER IS.. the number its not the whole number at all theres only 6 number this call. All the number for only have to be 7 and this number have only 6 number. so to i just talked to an spam,and i didnt not give nothing to that person.they know only my name nick name cindy but my real name i dont know how they know my nickname but they know but i didnt not tell them my name and my last name or any other info to them.

I received a call saying I was selected for a grant and as a single mother of 3 I was happy until they asked for a fee of 195.00 for the release of a 8400 dollar deposit and I was like why can't u take it out of the money your giving me the number she called from was 2024077177 with a loan approval number dr688 I knee it was a scam when she asked for a deposit on money that is supposed to be mine I hope this can help someone in the future

i knew this wa s a scam too when the first number that called me was 832-277-5004. i ignored this number for 4 days! these ppl are consistant they kept calling and i finally answered and they told me the same thing. when i said i wanted the check mailed to me she gave mi a confirmation number of: C3005 and said to call AJ Parker @ 202-407-9198. I called he said he was manager at bank and i would have to western union him $260.00 first and then he would send the check. I immediately told him that i was gonna report then to the authorities as i already work for them! they jus called theh wrong number! lollllll

I was called and someone said that I have grant money in my name and I would have to pay taxes to get it the number is 646-403-3393 she said it was other services but there a scam but they are the real people she told me she couldnt hold the money cause it cant stay in the bank long then she said I will hold it for you but how Long then she said I have to send 500.00 I said I dont have it then she said i can send 400.00 so I called her and she said she will wire my money in 7 hours lets just wait and see She said its a shame that peple think they dont have to pay for anything then she said shell call me to check if they deposite it. I dont believe it but Im gone claim it back the end of the year anyway God Bless those people the wickit shell be cut off

I just received a call today. The Indian Guy said the same exact thing and transfered me to this phone number 2026576272 and gave me a conformation number and gave me the name Daniel Christian as the person to release my funds. (I gave them a frozen account to see how valid they were) Daniel told me that I needed to send him 150 bucks western union to receive the money. I asked him the same question that everyone else asked " why is it that I have to spend money to her money?" And I swear to the ground o walk on he says " well of you don't believe me then just forget about it we don't have to use you for anything" I said "well then.take my account of of your list or whatever you have" he says "No, we are using your account to smuggle coke and transfer the money
We are going to send people to your house for your family and leave things all over your home" mind you, they are talking about an old address I haven't been to for years now...of anyone has a solution to this please let me know!

i have call from grant money and they asking to me verifie with my name and address my bank acount and she told to call jall denver, so i call him and he asking to me send money to him $130 i sent with western  union  and he gave me one more number to call i call he asking money again $478 i sent again he told me in my bank acout i will get money money back right way, but i still not get the the now is 2 days

I recived a call from a guy that said I  would receive 7,000 dollars
in a gov.grant when I asked why he said it was because I had
been a responsible citizen for the last 12 mo. So he proceced to give me
his spill then asked how I wanted the money trancferd to I said by and I gave him an
in valid card # he gave me my code bk507 and the #202-470-5006 of his mgr.
Sam Martim to contact for the funds to be deposited , so I did and when he told me all I
needed to pay was a one time fee of 250.00 that would go to
a charity and then he asked me how long it would take for
me to get to a western union to make that trancfer. I told him I would not be doing it I asked
him to just take it out of the 7,000 he got angry with me and said he couldnt do that it was my responsibility to pay it up front so I hung up.

Got the same call.. About being a good citizen.  and i really needed tha mny.. So i didnt quite fall for it.. I gave him my pre paid card that i never use that only has .32 cents on it.. I called the 202 407 9198 number and no answer.. If i get the mny ill be surprised but im not sending any mny to get it..

My call came in from 975-986-7410 but the number they wanted me to call back was 202-499-1468 and I was also given the confirmation number of JC341...  Humorous!
They never asked me for any money though.

GOD is great   thank god for sites like this              A woman called said we had paid taxes on time  and we qualified for 7000 grant we need 250 secured dposit from western union   i said if i am going to get the money from the gov   why dont you just take out what you need and send me the rest      i figure if you already have the money you sending me why do you need any of mine   oh yea  the number we got is 202-621-0436 Henry Smith      God Bless everyone who is praying for something better

I, too, received a call today from a "Jennifer" with a very thick accent, who claimed that i had received $7,000 from the US government for "being a good citizen". Quickly, I suspected this strange call as if it were truly from the government I would have received a letter and not a call. However, I played along. She gave me a "grant ID #" and asked me to call "Frank MIller", indicating Mr. MIller would guide me on my next steps in order to collect the money. Needless to say, I immediately called "Mr. Miller" and right off the bet, especially by the way he answered his phone, knew this was a total scam. He was extremely unprofessional and told me I had 3 options on how to receive the money. I could get it directly deposited into my account, directly put into a credit card or by receiving cash.  Oh yeah, and by the way "I didn't have to pay this money back" haha this was classic. So, off course, I elected to have cash, as i was not going to provide any account information to him.  He said I would have to go to a western union and that once I got there i would have to call him back. He said " I MUST SPEAK TO THEM DIRECTLY IN ORDER FOR YOU TO GET THE MONEY".  Then, he said " oh and you need to put down a security deposit of $260 in order for the $7000 to be deposited into your western union account.  I laugh sand said: " okay so you are telling me that i need to come up with $260 for the govenment to give me my so deserving grant for being such a great citizen??? He said, " well you will get the money back once the $7000 goes thru".  I told him i didn't believe me and that i thought this was a total scam. He became very angry and argued with me. I then, explained if he was truly who he claimed himself to be, he was extremely unprofessional and that i was going to report him. He told me to just be happy with my "grant money" and go claim it.

So, I decided to call the Federal Reserve Bank in New York, as he said it was where the money was coming from, and verify all this crap. Off course, it was a scam and I was told that many other people had called with the same question. I, then, called the fraud line and provided all the info I had. Please DO NOT fall for this. Unfortunately, there are a lot of dishonest people in the world. Good luck

omg i just got a call just now from the same number and the man's name was sam martin, and he got madd cuz i asked him a bunch of questions. he wanted me to send him 280.00 for a charity of the government choice, as for wat the man said. someone needs to report these people cuz someone old may fall for this scam..

i lost 330 dollars and then they called me for 700 more talking about i have to pay taxes on the 7000 i told him kiss my ass. but hoe do i report this because they knew all my info

I got a call to. these people are indian  thats where they want you to send the money to .It's scary because they know all ya information like name, address, phone number. This really bothers me, why don't the gov protect us from high profield scams like this.

Lord have mercy i see this same exact scam with the same exact plot,people and numbers go back as far as 2010. Same thinh happened to me. Too bad the account i gave them was some made up numbers i pulled out of my ass. I truly hope that people see into this scam and they get causght because this is horrible. I played along but because i knew it was a scam. Some gullible person will be got for everything they have. smh
