I received the same email as Jeremy did in March to an add I placed on Craigslist here in Phoenix. Mine came from someone "named" Jane Coker (mbaiise1@googlemail.com).

Interesting that they did not even take the time to realize that the name at the end is different from the one supposedly sent from.

Looking through my emails I believe that the person also uses the following email addresses:

Both of these came from Craigslist with the scams advisory in them.

Same email just received from "Brad Farr" in response to table & chairs.

I just got the same jane coker email for a seattle craigeslist post!

I had this response from someone wanting to buy off of Craigs List. Name is Grant Seth and the while the tel number is different from the ones listed above, it's the same message. I got suspisious when each email had a different address. The message response made no sense. I then Goggled "Grant Seth craigslist" and this site came up. Don't be fooled!:

After that I asked him to call me to talk about his situation, and i did not give him my address. He never called or responded because i was figuring out he was a scammer and he knew it. SO BEWARE!!!!

This guy is using other email address and ads on craigslist to get people to do the same thing to get money. THANK GOD i figured out what he was up to and ran across this site, thanks!!

I was suspicious so I googled the entire conversation and found yours to be a duplicate to mine with a few variations. My letter was in response to a listing on Craigslist.

Got the same message about the mover coming and me getting certified check.  I figured as much when I received the initial mail asking if item was still for sale.  Had that "feeling" that nothing was right with this inquiry.  Glad I chose to "investigate" further.
