The from reads: ILD TELECOMMUNI but who knows for sure.

I recieved this kind of call twice this morning and almost paid the money bc my husband is currently traveling home for r and r from Afganistan. The number for me was 404-763-9299 and 214-969-5489. I wish someone could stop this from happening.  They just called again while I was typing this.

I started getting collect calls from this number on August 17, 2012 and when the operator says who the call is from it sounds like someone shaking a pill bottle instead of giving a name. I have had a stalker ( former friend ) aggravating me in any way possible and I feel it is her using this service. Amy Suzanne Reece is her name, her live in is Roberto Roman Webber. They live at 3232 Reece Road, Boonville, NC 27011 and their phone # is 1-336-486-7846. I had to take out a No stalking/ No contact order against her and she just won't stop. This service she is using should be wiped off the face of the earth because all it used for is to harrass people like me.  Everything I have written here is the truth~ Thank you

I too have been getting nonstop calls frm this num off and on for almost a year now .cannot get a live person when I have called back private it says its a non reachable number.the one time I did answer someone mumbled something obscene.I. immediately hungup.I too am going to reprt this to the police after reading all these comments

Just missed a call from this # 214-969-5489. when i check message it was apparently a collect call from a family member that's currently in a local hospital. The 2 obvious red flags that led me to investigate were: 1. My family member is hospitalized locally and have received their calls regularly sense admitted. 2. (and most alarming) was the request for a credit card or ATM. Anyone thats received a legit collect call from someone knows that it would be added to your next telephone bill. WATCH OUT APPARENT SCAM!!!

Forgot to include this important fact: The recorded voice from the collect call was my family members voice. So this means the scam has gotten sophisticated enough to intercept his outgoing call from the hospital and that this was a collect call .. pleas say your name .. ect. Very scary !! Reporting to authorities immediately!!

Just got a call that said mom dad this is your son pick up the phone. He said he was calling from a payphone in Washington, because he lost his cell phone. He was traveling. I too looked it up and it showed as a Texas area code. Said he had spent 9.00 on payphone calls today. I told him I would call him back and he said it doesn't work.

I just got a call from this number around 11 and 1...I called back and nobody picked up.there's only bad signal..I was about to text and say who is this..I thought it was one of my friends that got a new number or a wrong number...Idont even live in texas but I know someone from there....I found out that she still does have the same number

I received a call from 214-969-5489 in Texas stating it was a collect call from my brother; even had someone say my brother's name.  But I think it's a hoax or scam.  I live in MI and my brother lives in OH.

when my husband has a trip to Watertown, SD his cell phone has no service there so he calls me from the payphone at Stone's Truck Stop as he gets something like 4 minutes for $1.00.  I know it is a payphone because I can hear the coins drop just before the call ends....so in this case...the phone number is a pay phone in Watertown, SD.

The number is a pay phone. My bf phone is messed up and he is a truckdriver on the road. Certain truckstop payphones are linked to this number. He called from payphones from 3 different states and the same number shows up.

I got a collect call from this number and it said it was from my ex husband (his voice) and wanted my credit card number to pay for it.  We had just talked from his cell phone so I didn't give my number out but when I tried to call him to see what was going on, i can't reach him.  Now I am worried.  He is a phone aholic that would return my call.  He is a driver headed to NC, but the number shows it is a TX number and can't be reached.
