I have been getting calls for a "Patricia Carter" for years now.  The person is unknown to me and even after telling this atorney's office that they have a wrong number,and to take my number out of their system, I continue to get the calls.  This is harrassment and I do not appreciate it, but can't get the calls to stop.

I have received several calls from this number 215-642-3400 saying it is the Law office of Thomas Landis.  I want them to stop!

A messsage was left on my home phone for my deceased Mother (9yr). When I called they asked me to fax them a copy of her death certificate and a POA. I told them to snail mail an official letter to my home and I would then decide what step to take next. The first person I spoke with, Jesse Garcia, said she would fax a letter to me, but another woman jumped on the phone and in a very rude and attempted intimidating way, said she would let the attorney know I was refusing to cooperate. I asked to speak to Mr. Lanis, and she hung up on me.  BEWARE OF THESE IMMORAL, THIEVES!

The caller asked for my husband by name. I said "can I take a message?" He said "this is David Hutser from the Thomas Landis Law Office. Please have your husband return my call at 800 853-4000." He sounded official and I thought my husband would know what it was about and he didn't so I went online to check the name out. Sounds like there is a long history of this. The caller ID was 215 642-3400 and the name was listed as Atty, T. Landis. I hope we do not get any more phone calls.

I received a call this am. He asked to speak to and gave a name. I reconized the name but I don't give out that kind info over the phone. I said no . So he got an attitude. He said is this and said my phone number I said yes. Then he went on to list my husband and myself as it is listed in the phone book. I told him that was correct. He said but you still don't know and said the name again. I said wait a minute who is this? He said "this is Dexter Knight and I'm with Thomas Landis Law Office now does that give you the motivation to give the number of" and said the name again. OH NO HE DIDN'T. Now mind you this isn't about me are my faimly come to find out this is my son-in-laws father and one of his ex wifes. I said you know I would have concidered giving it to you if you would have been such a dick and I heard CLICK. Yep he hung up on me. You know I think people should pay there bills don't get me wrong. But if they can find me by my daughters maiden name then they can find him. They called me to get my daughter and son-in-laws number so they could call them to get his fathers number. WOW. After I looked this up on the internet I saw all this about scams and that they are just a collection agent. I called Dexter Knight back I told him that I wanted my name removed and that I would report them if they called back. He said they had removed me from the last phone call. I told him I looked him up on the internet and it stated they were a scam and he became very mad and said that he represents Citi Bank collections and they are very legit. His words not mine. I said but what about the law firm you sa... CLICK he hung up on me again.

I just recieved a call from 800-853-4000 indicting that I needed to contact them as soon as possible regarding a personal business tranaction I had made.  I indicated I was at work and could not take personal calls which by the way called my cell phone.  The guys asked me to call back at 800-853-4000 x181 his direct extension as soon as possible because he was calling from the Law office of Tom Landis.  I have no clue what this is about.

These people called my house and said they were an attorney office and were yelling at me and said I owed them money, I'm from Tennessee and they were from Michigan. They were several people on the line talking and said we are going to take all of your money plus all of your money in the bank too. These people are scamming people, so watch out if you get a phone call from 12156423400.

What matters is that these people are harassing and threatening you should all report them to your local Attorney Generals Office OF YOUR AREA what they are doing is illegal. I was harassed about an account that was dealt with many years ago. Doesn't show up on my credit report they threaten to seek my parents assets and my new husbands assets. They had a lot information on me and I fell for it. Had to report it to my bank so they could change my account. BEWARE AND DON'T LET THEM BULLY YOU. REPORT THEM PLEASE to THE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE  they WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM.  GO TO WWW.OAG.STATE.NY.US OR WHAT EVER STATE YOUR FROM FILL OUT THE FORM PRINT IT OUT FAX IT AND MAIL IT.

Report them to the better business bureau (BBB) their number is not listed anywhere you can call information or look it up on the web with the yellow pages. The number is suppose to be from Bensalem, PA no such business listed. The only Thomas landis is in another part of PA and they don't answer the phone. Kinda strange for a law office. The people that called me said their names were Matthew Bullock and Keith Malone ext 168 wanted to get 17000.00 out of me for a supposed debt of over 34,0000.00. PLEASE let your voices be heard in the right places call the attorney generals office and the better business bureau. United we shall stand and let our voices be heard and heal the wounds that they left with the emotional and mental baggage.

recieved a call from this person saying they were calling from law office of thomas landis, about a debt i owe. i informed them the debt there calling about was not vaid a was opened by means of fruad and a police report was filed with all 3 credit bueau"s, and demand the removal of any negative reporting.they try and tell me the burden of proof is on me. i dont no who these people think they are,but its easier to hire an attorney yourself as i did and file a suit against them for reporting incorrect info. my attorney is sending them a leter and if they dont get right we will get a judgment in our state and get it enforced in thomas landis state. get attorney"s to call this fake attorney with a discipanary record with the state bar of PA.

call your local attornery general's office and report them to the better business bureau. Take action against them that will fix them good. Don't just complain fight back with fire and burn them to hell.

Call your local Attorney Generals office and report them to the Better Business Bureau. Fight the good fight. It's illegal what they are doing. Don't only let others know let the right people know.

Received a call for my son this morning from this number.  They asked for him to call 800-853-4000 x119, and speak to a Lisa Mazzoni.  They would not say why they were calling.  They had his middle initial wrong.  I asked them to fax me a letter, which I have not received.

The debts are not valid.

I spent a half hour on the phone today with the Philadelphia branch of the FBI and gave him all the information I had regarding these crooks.

I also filed a report with the US Postal office, as per the FBI's instructions, because they are guiulty of mail fraud. We need more people to call the local FBI office in Philadelphia, where they are to make these reports. 215-418-4000.

I received a letter from Thomas Landis, Esq regarding 2 accounts totaling $33,866.53 from Master Card opened in 1998.  I don't remember charging this much in any credit card.  The gentleman X156 explained that since I had consolidated my credit cards into one payment and this company stop paying in 2007 and Master card had hired Thomas Landis to collect the debt.  I try to understand why now.  I ran my credit report and no such thing exist in my credit.  Today i called them that I don't have the money to pay and I only have a part time job and i don't have money to send.  He insisted that I provide with my social security I provide only with my account number.  He also stated that opening a bank account doesn't require to keep money in the bank account.  I told him that you need money to keep the account active.  He insisted and told me that he himself will call Wacobia or any bank I wish so we can open an account.  He also suggested that I go to Wal-mart purchased a Debit card that cost $6 and put money so they can withdraw the money. ... After reading all your comments am so glad I decided to investigate this more.  However, am a little nervous.  In January am joining the Army for 6 years and I don't know what is going to happen.  Am trying to get everything organize before I leave.  If i owed any money I will pay but if this is fraud who can I contact to report these people????

I rcvd a call today from the number 215-642-3400 Attt T Landis.  A Mr. Al Wakefield left a message requesting that a specific person contact him immediately at 1-800-355-1213 regarding CA903246.  This person has called several times in the past supposedly regarding the same matter which does not exist.

Just received a call from this so called company demanding that pay them for debt back in 2004. When I asked about them validating the debt they told me to look at my Credit Report. Told them I had no need to do this. I then asked then for an address where I could sent them a letter requesting valadation. They placed me on hold and then hung up. I called back again asked for an adress and was put on hold for 10 min. Called back 3 more times with same request with no response. They do not want you to get thier adress so you can send them a letter in written telling them to Cease the contact with you... By law if you send them a letter CERTIFIED stating that all contact must be done Via US POSTAL service they can no longer harrass you by phone. Also told them debt has reached the Statue of Limitations and they can no longer use the court system to collect on this debt. Again they were unwilling to provide adress and any info on the debt. By law if they can not produce documentation they can not legally collect. At that point they told me Mr.Landis the Attorney would be filling the motion to collect on this debt. Told them see you in court! These companies prey on people who do not understand the law or their rights. First ALWAYS ask then to velidate the debt. Do it in writting and sent it cerified mail. You only have 30 days from when you receive the letter to respond . Take the time and do it. If you go to court you will have somewhat of a leg to stand on. You requested valadation and they never reponded. Use the internet there is alot of helpful info there. This company  is SCUM and do not allow them to pressure you  send the letter and then send another on to tell them to cease calling you and them be done !  They prey on people good people

Called my family and said I was owed a huge refund. Scam. family dumbly gave out personal info, so I expect to hear from them too.
