I wanted to send a message to our "sweet suitor" .   It would have gone something like this:  OMG!!!  My hamster just fell into a coma after trying unsuccessfully to give my goldfish CPR.  I think he may be brain dead.  The doctor says he needs a brain transplant but I don't have enough funds to cover the procedure.  I am heartsick since I am now an orphan.  I used all of my US funds to purchase 10 packs of Forever Stamps.  Please wire $25,000,000 to my Suisse Banque Account.  They will be contacting you within the day.  All you have to do is confirm the email with your name, address, and the social security numbers of 10 of your closest friends.  Of course, I will repay you on the second Tuesday of next week, when you pick me up from the airport.  What a dolt that guy is!!!  It makes for a good story and most certainly will cause me to be even more suspicious and cautious than I usually am.  Be careful, sweetie . . .there are lots of predators out there.  Don't stop looking for your special someone, but keep your eyes wide open and your feet firmly on the ground. Hugs to you.

Alright, ladies.  Here we go again.  Just got an email from Match's "coolncuddlyguy" in my inbox.  Same broken English, pretty much the same "romantic" streak, and pretty much the same profile . . .widower, daughter, executive management in investing, etc. etc and of course - a push to email him immediately at Donatocleb@yahoo.com.  Signed it "Donato".  DUH!  Ya think it's the Nigerians (not really a question, there) . . .LOL.   Of course I didn't respond and turned him into Match as a probable fraud/scammer.  Unfortunately it is like the game "WhackaMole", as soon as we hit one of them, two others pop up.  BE CAREFUL!

I received exact same emails and the mom died several weeks ago.  He knows he can't get money from me.  I confronted him with copies of these sites.  He says he is confused.  He is telling truth.  His name is now Robert Marco with daughter Diana in Milan but now in Palermo and she is 29.  His wife, son, and dad died 10 years ago in crash.  Same story.  I told him he is a psychopath and has no capacity for empathy.  He continues to send me love letters and will be back to be with me forever as my husband next week from UK with the 11 million he just made!

I am such an idiot.  Have been communicating with Jamie Abbadelli (identical letters to HazelEyes4U) since Dec. 2 of last year.  Have been searching internet off and on since and just found this site yesterday when once again trying to find Transword Investments International.  On Match.com known as SchnauzerLuvr, account lapsed shortly after 1st message.  Said he was from Phoenix, AZ, traveled to Texas, then UK (Kent), Dubai, and has been stuck in UK. Used UK #447924599091.  "Lost his phone" (LOL), new # lists as unidentifiable/unknown. Yes, I, too, lost money.  Very convincing whenever I raised questions.  Gawd, if only I'd found this site earlier.....  You would think I would have learned not to be so trusting after 69 years.

I forgot to add more info:  Jamie Enzo Abbadelli.  December 2, 2013, after reading my (extremely abbreviated) profile on Match.com for 50 minutes, he wrote via Match.com, said his subscription would lapse any day.  I checked.  It did.  I replied to his personal email account after a few days:  At first was abbadellijamie@yahoo.com, later changed to jamieabbadelli@yahoo.com after alleged computer problems.  In late October he said via YIM that he would return to Phoenix, AZ from Kent, UK by 10/17/14 adding that  "It has already happened."  Received a phone call (didn't answer) late evening 9/26/14 from a land line number in Carrollton, TX:  972-662-8667,  After a few days I called the number, a woman's answering machine greeting gives the phone number; I hung up, leaving no message.  Moments later Jamie calls me, saying he was in a meeting, then tries to YIM.  Nothing further for weeks.

I learned later through unfortunate circumstances that even women in the Justice Department, as well as other law enforcement agencies, have been totally duped as well.  So far, I have not heard of any investigations or prosecution.  Just wish I had known the correct Internet search terms from the beginning.  This was my first encounter with Match.com and was the last.
