I had calls from this number both last and this week to which I requested that I be placed on their "Do Not Call List". Also, I have some knowledge of the timeshare industry and know that it doesn't suit my lifestyle.

If calls like these continue and/or you are receiving calls from other organizations attempting to market their products to you, all you have to do is ask to be placed on their "Do Not Call List".

    Check it out: http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/DNCL/brochure_consumer.htm.

Also, if you're considering a timeshare purchase you should compare Aviawest prices to that of resales. Have a look at Craigslist or UsedVictoria and see the difference in price between Aviawest and resellers. These products are not liquid! You can't even give them away. What happens then when you buy the product and a few years later you no longer believe that it suits your lifestyle? Good luck offloading it. Remember, if you don't use it, you still have to pay maintenance fees and membership dues.

I called the RCMP Internet Fruad and Phone Busters and gave all the info.. apparently all names that are called are on what is known as a "suckers list", potential vics.  These [***] are from Nigeria, routed hrough the UK to Canada.  I have called back 2 of them pretending to want the Mercedes and gave a promo code.  Time for some fun from the "suckers"..Now, the cop told me that these list are BOUGHT from Legit companies for BIG BIG bucks!!!!   Sorta like those pyramid scams from the early 90's.  lets pull our resources together and come up with a master plan to [***] the places up.  I live in Poco,, 778 285 5228.  Greg.. DON"T joke around though if you call as in pretending to be one of the scammers just for fun, Ill be pissed off if you do

Yeah, I got the standard lexus call others seem to have gotten.  They said they were from Nanaimo and that I had entered a draw to win a lexus.  Its a farce, I don't enter draws and no one else uses my personal cell phone.  They only lexus they have is from the money they scam out of our naive friends.

A real business can create sales by offering a USEFUL product or service, these guys have to resort to lying and manipulation.  If someone wins a lexus and drives it off the lot with no stipulations, then I'll take back my comments..

We recieved a  phone call from this number while out last night Apr.19th.  Don't know what they are up to but getting tired of these calls.  Seems like every 2nd one is asking for some kind of sign up or some fly in the sky offer.  Pretty tiring AND no draw has been entered in this house in years..

I have got these calls several times now and I did once go for a timeshare meeting but with another company. I am thinking they pass your name around to other such companies? They ask what your yearly income is and it is not any of their business, but they sure seem to know alot about you personally.

Received message for George or Gail stating that we had recently entered our name for a chance of winning a car and they wanted us to take part in a new draw for another chance.
Recently was an understatment as Gail passed away 8 years ago.  I would not trust these people.

I got a call last night on my home phone and my cell phone. Came up as 250-716-2650. They left a message on my home answering machine saying they need to clarify some information pertaining to a ballot for a new Lexus. He gave me 800-728-1695 x8313 to call saying his name was Serge. When I called the number back I got a machine for Serge and Chandra who were out of the office. I haven't got a call back.

Thank google for indexing the entire frickin internet so I could find this forum.

Avia West, go f@ck yourself. I can't wait for you to call me back, you don't even know harassment! You're gonna hear things from me that will make you vomit in your desk drawer. When I'm done, you'll volunteer me for the No Not Call List.

The above number phoned to say my name had been entered into a draw--weird considering the draw had just been completed but would occur again--. The car was a BMW and the caller, identifying herself as Charlotte also mentioned something about a resort.  She knew our address and our names.  She left a 1-800 number to check out the company.  the number was 1.800-728-1695. extension 8307, name: Charlotte  The internet address she gave was aviawest.comfwd/bmw.
