Called three times... glad to know its a hospital survey of a stay made in the hospital

This is a legit company calling for your feedback so the hospitals can improve.

They're not selling anything, soliciting etc.
Its not against HIPAA laws, or the DNC list.

Called and hung up when I said I have no time for survey

This number keeps calling and does not leave a message.

Healthstream called to take a survey about my last Doctor appointment to make sure that I was happy with the care that I am getting.

you have no idea what you are talking about. They only do research about medical visits and ask no personal information or give on any PHI. Get a clue.....

Phone rang twice, I answered and got no reply back. My son recently had surgery and we were told someone would call, but why didn't they just get the survey over with while they had me on the phone. It's pretty annoying to be in the middle of dinner and feeding a starving baby just to get hung up on....rude, unprofessional, and stupid.

Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence Kansas uses this service to do "research" about their facility.  I have asked everytime I go there that they not contact me; Yet they still do.  I have had to block them from my phone.  I now tell LMH they must contact me through my Drs office as I will not let them have my phone # for their records.  If I want to participate in a survey I will do so....stop using companies that call repeatedly!!!!!  I don't have time for this.  Try giving me a survey while I'm sitting in the waiting room!!!!!

I got a call from this number today. It only rang once and then it stopped. It's a good thing too cause I am in the medical field and I would have ripped someone up if I had even answered, which I normally don't do for numbers I don't know. I am not even with a health care provider now so they can't pull that crap on me. Hate that they seem to be able to get away with this stuff even though people ask to not be contacted or are on the do not call list. Has to be something that can be done!

keeps calling and will not leave a message and when I answer there is no response when I say hello repeatedly. Tried to block caller but number is unknown and my carrier will not allow me to block unknown callers.

Thanks to this site....I just list all these kinds of calls under "salesman" and block calls from them in the future....;))) Then I am NOT annoyed anymore by their calls!

This is not a sales call, nor is it an annoying call.
Its a call about a survey about your drs, hospital, or facility visit.
Its okay if you don't want to improve the quality of care in hospitals or facilities.

It is for the person receiving a call to decide what is "annoying".
Sinking to emotional blackmail as in your 3rd line is simply childish.

Rec'd call from this number but they left no message.  Not the first time I've rec'd calls from this number.

Have received calls from them over the past several days. I didn't pick it up as I didn't recognize the #/name (it did say "HealthStream" on my caller ID). My mother was in the ER a couple of weekends ago due to an allergic reaction to an antibiotic. I was with her most of the time and they never mentioned anything about anyone calling to do a survey... nor did I see any signs mentioning this. But reading back through the posts here, I can assume this is why they were calling. Guess I'll inform her and leave it up to her whether she wants to participate in a survey should they call again.

Receive calls on my cell phone and Verizon does not offer blocking as AT&T does so all I can do is
ignore the call.  Do not have caller ID on my land phone but have an answering machine which
enables me to ignore calls offering me lower home financing rates, etc. etc.

I also got a call from this number. I only have a cell so what I have ended up doing with these 'annon' numbers is creating 1 'contact' in my phone and saving each of these numbers under that contact. I changed the ring tone to No ring so it doesn't ring my phone at all and just goes on as normal. I save every number to them under that contact.

I distinctly called this company and told them to remove my name immediately from their list. The woman wanted to tell me why she was calling and I told her I was not interested, just remove my number from their list. She assured me she would. That was a week ago. Well.......they called again today.
