I had the same thing happened to me. The guy had an indian accent. He told me that by 6:00 pm the sherriff was going to come and arrest. I told him, you don't have to send the sherriff, I'll go to the sherriff's office right now. He then said well they are not going to have the papers because they won't have them for another hour. I told them no problem, I'll go and wait until you send the papers, and they hung up.

i got the call too and when i asked for the case # and where it was being filled and i got hung up on it happend on 5/8/2012 at 5:49PM

Indian guys trying to scam me for money from same number. What's taking so for fbi to nab these culprits?

This guy is harrassing our people

I have had plenty of calls this week from this number for me to call Kevin about charges that were against me from loans at cash advance....they told me that police was coming to my job within an hour to pick me up....they said that I owe over 3,000 dollars and if i failed to pay, i would be in jail for 3 month if i failed to appear to court in california...they had me!

Theses people called me today and i called back with an attitude, and they hung up. I know they have caller id because i called from the number they called me on and they dont anwer. I called back on a different number and they answered...i asked for location, name and district because i needed to give the information the the police and they hung up again. I will do this from a different number everyday and scare them like they are scaring people on a daily basis

I recieved a call from robbie williams. asking if i had an attourney cause charges were being filed against me. so i had to call prosecutor kevin peterson by monday or i would be in serious trouble. he even gave me a case number cfn9287. same indian accent i kept saying gavin, no kevin who? gavin? no kevin....he got pissed i said okay ill call gavin. whats the number? it was 323-331-9198.  i asked does he work today?? he said yes so i asked why he didnt call me himself? i knew the guy was a fake cause he couldnt answer my questions fast enough....idiots yes mine to was behind some type of pay day loan......if i did apply for a payday loan...well that usually means your broke. hello caller....all a scam. needs to be reported

they called me today. said they were going to have the santa ana police department come and arrest me if i couldn't pay 800.00, when i asked him what i allegedly borrowed...he delayed and said 300.00. His name was Kevin, with a broken indi-pakisatani accent. i went straight to the police station, they have received multiple complaints on this. i called the number back and had the officer talk to "kevin", who then told him to F off and suck his D.....YA...it's a scam.

I did the same thing told them that my lawyer need information and the went off on me refused to give me any information. So I told them that I would give this number to the state police and he hung up on me!!!!

I think Im just going to keep a list of these numbers and give them to the state police because they are calling me at work as well!!!

Now this has become funny to me because i called back and they gave me the same lines about the lawyer and money. when i asked for the district they were in because i wanted to call the police he said " why you want to call the police and your mother fat" i called the next day and asked the same questions and told them i had the police on the line and they said " you mother F...er, why you call here with police on line" and then hung up.

I got the same call and at my work too, stating he was from the State Attorney's Office.  I tried calling back and tried to get more information. Went by the name Johnny Wintershaw. Then Ricky G.  I made a report with the FTC and plan to file a complaint with the "real" state attorney general's office!

hello everybody i got an call from a eric watkins saying this was an legal isssue to call back and when i did i was cuss out call a mother f#####!! and told that the that  police was going to be coming to my house and talking about a loan which i didnt take out what is wrong with people these days i really think they are a scam and trying to get your information or trying to bulling you for your information CRAZY!

Recv'd a call @ 730am cst stating I was committing bank fraud for Cash Advance company?  I have no knowledge what this is.  The caller stated that the States Atty is coming to my job to arrest me.  Never got a chance to know who this so call atty was representing.  Never defaulted on any loans etc. Never recv'd any emails, phone calls or mail regarding this so call debt I owe to allow me to respond.  So have no ideal how/why I am being falsely accused.

Got a voicemail from a man with heavy Indian accent asking for me by first and last name and asking to call him back at this # and stated that if I disregard this message "God have mercy on my soul". So I called back not knowing what this was about. He told me I had legal charges on my social security #, and told me the last 4 of my social. I told him he was lieing and he said to "show up at the courthouse and prove it" then hung up on me. Big red flag they were full of crap! I called back and it just rang and rang.

Nice try Kevin Patterson!!!!   All you gotta do is contact the BBB. Oh plus file charges!

Yes they are calling my job about cash advance they say the same thing and they say to call Kevin Petterson when I call they tell me it's Kenneth Webster then he is Indian accent also

They called me too but the call wasn't for me it was for someone else, they left it on my voice mail and it was a nasty little message.
