that Kevin dude called and upset my wife so bad that I had to leave work early to calm her down. I reported him to the fcc, I did talk to him and he tried to say he was a lawyer and all that. so I told him if he is a lawyer than Im Abraham Lincoln, nice to meet  you..lol he hasn't called back.. I hate con artists like him.

Got a call at 7:30am from this number.. I answered it and it was just a woman and all she said was...this is jessica from the state attorneys office, who is your attorney? I was like..attorney for what? And besides that..its 7:30am! and hung up..lol I know enough about calls that they cant be made before 9am. So that was my big red flag. So I decided to search the number in google and arrived here! So thank you all for posting this..I definitely know now that its a scam.

The same thing happened with me. Some stupid as thick accent guy called me and said ohh we are going to take u to court and [***]. He said there was a legal sue on my social security number. I checked my bank account I hadn't got any new cash from anyone. Its definitely a scam.

I have gotten the same sort of calls! Always from people who barely speak English..They are always looking for someone named Dominick Lee...After I inform them that no one by that name lives here and that we are on a do not call list they hang up and continue to call back...I've even put the phone on fax and they still call! I have reported them to the FCC, FTC and State Atty General's Office in the state in which I reside!

So at 645 this morning i got a phone call with some one asking fo rme with a heavy accent. I said this is her. and a heavy accented man asked if i had an attorny and i said NO WHY. and he said charges have been filed against you and i ask Why? and who is pressing charges? he just told me to call Kevin peterson. i asked him what company are you calling fro and he replied the State Attorn's Office and i asked what is my case number he said ma'm do you have a paper and pen ill just give you the number and you ask him. so i called the number and no one answered it said "this number is no longer take calls at this time" So if they call again i will have more questions and then i will have my Lawyear mother give them a call and see what they have to say.

Thesse people called me on memorial day weekend I told them to go [***] thselves since I already got a phone call like this about 2 weeks ago.. The first time they called me I almost had a heart attack since I don't want nothing to do with the law.. These people need to stop

Okay, so same situation and everything, and I researched a little bit more, cause on Saturday the 26th received same scenario, I was getting super upset as well, and he said we could handle it for $495 today, or see me in court he was going to get the case# is 45 mins, and be at my place of employment within 12 hours or my place of residence,,, and said it was for money laundering,, well I work for a bank, and of course I was freaking out cause I can't have someone calling my job about being prosecuted and losing a great job over something fraud, until my boyfriend, asked me to look up this number he called me from online, well I did and here are all the blogs, and so I filed a police report and filed a complaint with the FBI.... as well and called my banking institution,,, but do you know the guy had the balls to call me again on 05/28/2012 and at first I was nice to try and obtain further info about this guy and his credentials, and then I went off on him, told him, I hope they catch him, because I filed a police report and a report with the FBI...... the # he called from on Sat was, 323-331-9189, same # I tried to call by later in the evening on Sat advsd the numb was disconnected.. but it's not.. so yes this is a total scam and don't let them scare you.. or bully you!!!! and the more I have researched this it seems this guy has been doing this since 2009.. or maybe even longer,, going by the exact same alias.....

Everything that the previous posts regarding this phone number are EXACTLY how the conversation went with me today. Both of the gentlemen I spoke with had HEAVY Indian accents. I could here background conversations by persons with the SAME accent. Me owing a cash advance, could not pay it back , wanted me to wire the money (several hundred dollars), would not tell me what law firm they called from. And these two guys, who BOTH had STONG Indian accents, said there names were Kevin Peterson and Kenneth Webster. I'm not a racist or a bigot. But REALLY, Indians with last names Person and Webster, and first names of Kenneth and Kevin????) GIVE ME A BREAK ! Gave me a number (The one in question).And told me to call the other attorney immediately. I called back and ANOTHER Indian guy was very threatening about having me arrested at work or home within the hour, as soon as a warrant was acquired. Had me really upset for about 30 minutes. SO, I Googled the number. And wouldn't you know, there were NO LESS than 50 entries about the same thing happening to others.ISince then, I have attempted to call the given number back (323-331-9189) SEVERAL TIMES. And Guess What? Goes straigh to a busy signal.  The one time they picked up the phone, they immediately hung up. (SURPRISE!)  I called the State Attorney General's Office Fraud/Scam division in my state. They said it was SO a scam. Luckily, I'm quite the smarty pants, that I was not going to give info to these guys until they told me the info THEY had. Well, they wouldn't produce. I got the number of the US Federal Trade Commission from the very helpful young lady in the State Attorney General's Office. I have filed a report with them.

a indian woman called me. she said i have a law suite and she would not answer my questions and hung up on me.

Got a call from mexicans with very bad english saying I have a case for a loan (that I never received, lol) When I began to ask questions they hung up. Then, when I tried 2 call back, they blocked my number. I texted them that I will be sending this information to their local authorities in Los Angeles.

I have a similar story and have already notified the local authorities.
In addition, the attorney general will be getting a nice letter from me addressing these scam artists.

I had a call from the same number 3233319189 and was told to ask for Kevin Peterson that someone has filed a case against me. I asked who? And he said just call this number. He had a strong accent as well.  When I called they picked up - sounded like he was driving / and hung up...twice.

This same number keeps calling me but when I answer they just hang up... I call it back and nothing happens. In all honesty when these guys call back I'm going to mess with them... [***]!!

Just got 6 calls only a different number for them and Kenneth Webster is the attorney. I contact the police, FCC, Consumer Affairs and the REAL Kenneth Webster who said they get this information all the time but I was able to give them the phone number. Crazy.

I just received the number is well from that collar this morning, told me his name is Kenneth Webster and he was not turning in header warrant for my arrest I've never even had a seatbelt ticket, he told me I had 1 hour to send them 695 dollars for he was issued a warrant for my arrest then call me back and told me that he was freezing my bank account and the bank I notified had no idea what he was talking about nor do they even have a male branch manager as he told me the man had me crying my eyes out thinking I wasn't going to be with my 3 kids on Christmas don't fall for you that's a bunch of crap

I feel your frustration I got that call this morning told me I had a warrant for my arrest and they didn't care I had 3 children that that was my problem and that they were contacting the Sheriff Department to have me pick up for a warrant

This same person called me this morning and the phone number I was given was 1-916-243-5985 said I had 3 charges pending against me in the state of California and said to call this number back and ask for attorney Logan Fernandis or as my search came back to Fernandez and I found this site they even gave me a case number but when I called the sheriff dept in that area they said they had nothing on me and that I needed to research further the attorneys name on google and this is when I came across your post so his updated cell # is the one I posted above hope this helps you find this person and when you do I would like you to contact me back so I can go after him too! my e-mail is mudduckbaby@yahoo.com

they called me too this morning but the phone number was 1-916-243-5985 and he said that he was from the state's attorney's office and I had 3 charges against me in the state of California and when I asked him about them he had no info and said that I had to call this number and speak with the attorney Logan Fernandis and spelled it just like that and that he would inform me of what the charges were and what I could do about it well me being in the fire dept and working closely with the police and sheriffs in my area. I knew this didn't smell right so instead of calling him back I called the sheriffs dept in the area where the cell phone number came from which was Sacramento, CA and the cell number traced back to Rio Linda, CA which is in Sacramento county and they just told me to research it further online and that is what brought me here. I hope this person gets caught! I also did research on Logan Fernandis in Rio Linda, Ca and found a home number of 916-731-4370 and a home address of 3323 E. Curtis Drive with zip 95818-4433 when I called the home number they said that a Logan fernandis didn't live there nor was that his cell number so I don't know if that home is connected with this scammer but it was only miles from where the cell call was placed from. Did they ever catch anyone? I know there is more than one person in on the whole operation. I got scammed yesterday, May 23rd, 2013 and I made a report as well.  I hope no one else falls for this crap!!!!
