This number has been calling my cell phone for the past week, on business hours, so I was working and couldn't answer. Today they called on a SATURDAY! around noon and when I answered, no one said anything.
Just to piss them off I called back probably about 25 times... just let my phone ring on speaker while doing other things for a while. Never an answer.
Then I found the number for Market Probe Canada on here and called them. I asked to speak to a manager or supervisor. He told me he was the manager, but didn't sound convincing so I had him spell out his first and last name for me. I told them to put me on the Do Not Call List but also asked why they are calling so often. He told me they do survey's. So I said "what does it accomplish to hang up in peoples ear? Nobody says anything when I answer, I don't consider that a survey" and he said "well, it's a computerized device that keeps calling over and over, not a person" so I said "I just don't see the point in having a computer dial peoples numbers without getting any answers or anything, it is absolutely pointless, just extremely annoying" and he started stuttering and mumbling, saying the same thing he already told me, with not much of an explanation. I asked how he got my cell phone number. He said probably from RBC so call and ask them to put you on a Do Not Call List as well. It is so annoying!!!

i live in montreal canada , the woman asked to talk to me (she knew my name ) and when i asked her with a mad ton who she was she hung up.

i will try to deal with this and i will TELL them not to phone our number again, maybe someother people should try. or maybe make fun of them and say hi pizza hut may i take your order? this will be fun the next time they call im sick and tired of this because they always call when im eating dinner with my family.

They actually did call doing a survey and when I said I feel like closing my account, they said sure, they don't care. I checked RBC and they are responsible for surveys that RBC posts. I have escalated it to see if RBC knows they are giving them a bad name.

they told me i had to pay off this debt or they would send someone to my hous and do some god awful things if i did not pay what i owed them in 24 hours

I live in Happy Valley Labrador and they called my cell phone 4 times in about an hour..
RBC didn't do anything about it YET!

I received many phonecalls from this number 416-233-0047. It's a business marketing research company out of etobicoke (toronto). Call this number 416-233-1555 and ask for your name to be removed from their list if you are not interested in the product or information. This number is the actual office number for the call center in etobicoke.

I have received many phonecalls from this number 416-233-0047.It's a business marketing research company out of etobicoke (toronto).  I took your advise and called the 416-233-1555 number and had my name removed from they call list and it worked.

It is a marketing and survey number. They call me periodically for a week or more then drop off for a few months.

When I was an account manager at a bank and made calls to clients, you had to be careful about what you say. For example:

It's dfm at RBC, is Sally Jones available?
 No. What's this in regards to?

Just wanted to see if she was happy with her services and if there's anything we can help with.
 Um, Sally and I only bank at TD.

Sally has to confess that she's got her own personal stash going on from an inheritence that she's using as a security cusion since her husband has a bad gambling problem and they may be on the rocks.

This type of scenario plays out more than you would realize. Just because you and your spouse have total trust in each other doesn't mean that it's the same - or should be the same - for other couples.

this number appears on my display at least once or twice a day - when I pick up no one answers.  I call this number back and no one answers.  This is very frustrating and nerve wracking.  I wanted this number reported for harrassment.  Thank you.

Same issue here. Got a call from Toronto. My partner answered, they claimed to be from RBC, but would not talk to him, wanted my number instead. They called my cell, but did not leave a name/message. Obviously a scam.. whatch out.

This was a company doing a survey for RBC. They knew when and where I visited them and wanted to know my level of satisfaction.

I've gotten this call a few times this week and I picked up this morning around 9:30ish.. and she had a creppy "shakey" like voice and was like "Hello is Jessica _____ there" and I replied with "Yes, this is her" and then she hungup on me.  ?!?

I got a call today from them and i had been to the branch locally last week, the teller told me to possibly await a call from market probe as they are doing a survey on customer service, so it is legit, you just have to tell them how the teller did... dont give any personal info like bank numbers to anyone, ever, but these are just a survey to see how the tellers are doing.. no big scam or anything

Call my cell phone twice on every hour, my cell is unlisted and did not leave a message,

got call from 416 233 0047 looking for my husband but when i ask if they could leave a message the lady on the other line she hang up , very unprofessional.
