Again, second call this PM, 15 minutes apart ... ?? What the ___ ?? Second call again 10 seconds of silence. I hung up when I saw the "UNASSIGNED" caller ID. (ATT land line)

This is obviously a machine generated robo-call. If this phone number does indeed belong to Microsoft, their developers' network will hear about it tomorrow.

Received call from this number and they left a three-word message - an obscene phrase from the Hindi language.  Someone is playing very sick games.  It says Bellevue WA on the caller ID.

Again, again, again tonight. Third call this PM, 15 minutes and 45 minutes apart ! What the ___ ?? Second call again 10 seconds of silence. Third call was silence, again. I hung up when I saw the second "UNASSIGNED" caller ID. I hung up on the third as well. (ATT land line)

got a call from a lady earlier with a thick indian accent saying they work for windows. same as the others and said they were gonna call back tomorrow. Already had my name, what  should i do?

This doesn't have anything to do with Microsoft, so there's no reason for anyone to expect them to be able to stop it. Someone hacked into a friend's email account last night and sent me some spam; is it reasonable for me to hold my friend responsible for what some crooks did, just because it was her name that showed up in my Inbox?

Anyway, I received a call from this number a few minutes ago, but didn't answer it. Caller ID showed "Unassigned".

Soliciting for IT security saying our computer had a bug for many days and to follow these instructions to clean up your computer.  We asked him if he realized he was calling a law firm and to please hold for IT Director.  He hung up!!  Incoming # was 425-998-1533. Thx

Called & hung up on me.  Reported to donotcall.gov and the FCC for "abandoned calls".

AYER A LAS 19,24h me llamó este número 425 99 81 533, al descolgar me dijeron "Good bay" como si fuera una cinta y colgué.
Por si es de ayuda, a las 18,20h. me había "peleado" con Movistar (Telefónica), por dar una calificación de cero !!!!!
No sé si tendrá alguna relación entre ellos !!!!! Yo os lo indico por si a alguien le ha pasado lo mismo !!!!!

Por si guarda alguna relación os diré que hacía una media hora que me había "peleado" con Movistar (Telefónica) por dar una calificación de cero en su servicio.

Total phishing scam. I kept them on the line for 20 minutes, including getting a "supervisor" on the phone.  Sounded like an English accent to me, but in any case the background noise was so heavy, it was difficult for me to understand anyone.  I've had several repeat calls from the same, with little luck in getting enough from them to find out what info they're after.

Received the call yesterday,a guy with an Indian accent told me he was from PC Support Centre working for Microsoft Windows. He told me that my computer was sending error messages and could crash at any time. He asked me to go to the computer and press ctrl windows button and r that would start something Running and show viruses and errors. Took me through to a page that showed a serial number which when read out matched mine. I was told that there was no security on my PC which was very dangerous he then told me to enter another code to put me into safe mode he then passed me over to his so called supervisor. This guy then tried to sell me security packages. I refused his offer he came extremely persistent, so I hung up the phone. They were very convincing especially as I had been having trouble with my computer anyway. Scary.

I got 5 calls from this number today. No message was left. The last one I finally answered. Woman with heavy asian accent said something about microsoft computer. I said "we are on the do not call list and your company has called here 5 times today - Do not call here again and remove this number" she acted like she didn't understand me. I asked for a supervisor. Again she played stupid. I said that we are on the DNC and we have a right to financial reparations for their abusive disregard for the DNC list. I told her that I had recorded the conversation and would be turning it over to the FCC for facilitate a lawsuit. She hung up on me.

Walmart $400 gift card scam.  Asks for credit card number to pay shipping and processing. 4259881533

Call from this number but nobody spoke.  I shouldn't have picked up receiver.

F**** these guys. hope they get caught, tarred and feathered, publicly lynched and then put in stockades so the public can light their hair on fire and piss it out.

SCAM CALL!!!!!!!   Hang up.  Don't even waste your time with them.  Just tell them you don't own a computer.

Got a call twice today and went along with it without connecting to internet. Recorded the whole conversation and may put on youtube

Got the same calls twice yesterday. I played along saying that my English was not so good, asking him to be patient with me and asking lots of stupid questions. I kept him on the phone for more than 20 minutes, then told him I had problems with my satellite phone (my phone isn't a satellite phone at all) and hung up... hihihi. I'm now waiting for them to call me back to offer them a long list of English lessons for as low as 500 $ per day... lolll.... I can't wait to make fun of them and loose their time once more. After all, it takes 2 to tango!

Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada -  Got a call from this number this morning.
A guy with heavy indian accent, saying I have a problem with my computer.  They called me in the pat and I am aware of this scam.
Asked him which company he is with - he said "Windows technical support"
Told him "Windows" is not the company "MicroSoft" is (he did not sound too bright).
Asked him again what it is he wanted - he reitterated (sounded like he was reading from a script) that he is from "Windows" support and calling about a problem with my computer.
I told him that I never reported any problems and my computer is running fine.
He started muttering about virus infections.  I cut him off and asked him for his name - he said 'Kevin'.
I asked him for his last name - he said 'Peterson'.
I told him "well you don't sound like 'Kevin Peterson'" (he had a thick indian accent).
At that point I had enough.  The guy was stupid and boring and I figured that I wasted enough of his (and my) time.  I told him that the conversation is being recorded and I am reportin g the incident as fraud/scam.
All I heard in reply was a "click".
