be sure about the fact that your data will be use by those spammers for bad things . They will probabily clone your ID, open  accounts to differents banks, transfer money on it, collect money, buy stuffs, or ... who knows what else.

So people, STOP sending your personal data to this thiefs. First of all, check if the sender has good intentions, talk with him before sending your data ... When the bad thing was done (you had send it your data already and you realized ) go to the Police station,  FBI , etc.

Hi Callie, I haven't received the phone calls yet, but here are the emails for transactions through Craigslist. Initial response to my ad was from lynn.tim300@gmail.com, asking if my item was still for sale? I replied yes it was still for sale. Thereafter, all email responses are from lee.jess800@gmail.com

Yes you may issue the payment, however, the weekend is upon us; it will most likely transpire in the early week?

The next day after adding this all up it became clear; I have never deal with this kind of thing before.
I emailed them back that my neighbor had decided they wanted the machine and was sorry for the inconvenience.

Next email, (they responded as if  they hadn't read my response:)

I countered that I had informed them 2 days ago that I would not be selling them my item. That brings us up to today. They have not emailed me back. Just wanted to share the scam and the email addresses to be wary of.

Word for word letter from Phillip Hughs, coming to U.S. to work for David M Cote, CEO of Honeywell International, Inc. My gut told me it was a scam, told him I couldn't do Credit Check, Employment check, etc. on someone from out of Country. Need a personal contact here to work with before I would send him any information. Didn't call No. it was a slightly different number than the one above, but same 4470 #'s.

I read your message. This guy wanted to buy appliances and said he was deaf , and to send my contact info. This is name he is using now. (lee.jesse800@gmail.com). Thank You for posting your comment. I am running a business, and I don't need hassle's like this jerk

I googled his email address and he is a scam. He needs to be reported. If someone out there knows how please do. He sent same email as you from LEE JESSE .jesse800@gmail.com, any one that gets email from this and asking you to send contact info etc.. please don't. Thanks!!

"Hello! let's do like this, actually now I'm not in town for now, I

I foolishly replied, leading too:

Thank you all for positing this as you kept me from being a victim of fraud as well. I called FTC and reported him to the fraudulent help line. I encourage you all to do the same. 1-877-FTC-help or FTC.gov. I'm sorry this guy did this to you and I hope you all get justice eventually. Take care!

I've been corresponding with someone by the name of Kevin Darell regarding selling some antique china and recieved a check in the mail today from the Nash Finch Company.  When I called Nash Finch to validate the check was issued by their company I was told it was a fraudulent check and would not be issued or cashed. The scammer's email is Kdarell@gmail.com.  The return address on the USPS express envelope is Kevin Darell 4200 Morganton Road Suite 300 Fayetteville, NC 28314.  So, if you have any dealings with Kevin Darell or someone issuing a check to you in payment for a CL listing it's a fraud.  Call the issuing bank and the company issuing the check.  File a police report.  If you've already given out your info put a 90 day credit alert on your experian and transunion credit files.  The emails I recieved from this person match what is listed in this thread nearly to a 'T'.  I still have all of my emails from him if anyone is interested!

I received an e-mail from Jessica Smith desiring to leave our charity $10,000,000.00 has she claimed she is dying and desires to leave the money to a godly effort. We have a sec foundation serving the urban poor and a new web-site here in the US www.arkhouseministries.com. We were referred to this number +447024092040 which you indicate may be a cell phone?? The e-mal was sent via Eric E. Russel and directs us to the supposed law services of David Campbell in response to a reference number:law/chamber/solicitors/je/ws/will/98390-012

We are a legit charity and deplore possible scams like this, if it is a ploy to develop monies? You have our permission to refer this case to Sottland Yard or Interpol?? We have names and mail addresses and cell phone numbers..please let us know
