Received the same email from a Dr. Mike Bedard and another one from a Ken Woodard saying similar things about coming to the US to do pharmacy research.  I immediately googled the first name and found this very helpful information.  Thank you.

We just received a similar e-mail after posting a rental on Craigslist.  He is calling himself Scott Waltman of Liverpool, UK and is now an engineer working for Costello Industries Inc.  His number is now +447024060969.  Thanks to all of the great warnings we didn't waste much time with him and sent a copy of the e-mail to marketerstudio.com. We never actually spoke with him, contact was via e-mail only.

This scam has reached Craig's List and I just was contacted by 'Robert Smith' and all his information reads exactly as the victims before me. I knew right away and told me to piss of. Here is an exact copy of the messag he sent me on my posting for my condo rental..

I was also contacted by this scammer, dr mike Bedard <drmike225@gmail.com>.
Claimed to be in Pharmacy and looking to move to the states with his wife and daughter.  I had a posting on craigslist with a home for rent.  They must have some sort of automated algorithm that scans craigslist.  Everytime I re-post my listing, I am guaranteed to get contacted by one of these scammers.

We got the email too.  It sounded fishy to us, so instead of replying directly to the email, we replied by plugging his email address into the to section.  Then we got the second note, the one about being serious.  Thank you everyone for posting comments, oh our phone number that the fake Dr. Mike Bedard listed was +447024048350, and we too have a listing for rental property on Craigs List.

I have been receiving email communications for several days from Scott Waltman.  He claims to be an engineer coming to the US from the UK to work for a one year contract.  The correspondence has seemed sincere.  What's up with this?  They send more money than requested and ask to have the check cashed and money refunded to someone else???  He has used the phone number 447024060969 and the email address s.waltman1313@gmail.com.  Does anyone know more about this?

As regards my furniture,i am planning on having them delivered to the house before our arrival so that we can settle in comfortably,you can understand that transiting cross atlantic is not easy so we are making arrangement with the furniture company to deliver the furniture before our arrival after the rent and security deposit has been paid to you by my financier.

 We will ask you for a favour here,can we rely on you to take delivery of the furniture for us when they are delivered? We will instruct the furniture company to contact you to schedule a delivery date and time that will be convenient for you to receive the furniture for us.
