I have never seen anything like this. They will not identify themselves. The girl,Jaimie, should have charges brought against her. So rude, and such a scammer. They want my daughter's SS number. When I would not give it to them, they wanted to talk to my husband, and they still would not give us the nature of their business.

This number calls several times a day for an employee.  The lady is very rude when I tell her our agents are not allowed personal calls.  I informed her that her constant harassing was illegal due to the fact she could get this employee in trouble.  She told me it was his own fault because he never calls back.  Very rude.  I wish there was some way these people could be stopped.

I have gotten a few harrassing phone calls from them and I really thought they were real, all the way up to when a gal said I should borrow some money from my friends to pay for this debt to keep it from going into collections.  I also asked for an apology either verbally or written they said "No, this is not a customer service agency!"  What do I do I gave them my social and they were able to see what I had on my credits cards so that I could pay for this debt!

They called several times and did not leave a message.  Finally I answered and they immediately asked if I was James Karena.  When I replied no they immediately asked if my birthday was in the winter.  It is so I asked for identification, I was told I would be connected with my representative and was sent to viocemail.  I reported them to the BBB, I recommend everyone do the same

The Caller states DCS Inc. Phone Number is 1-541-955-7800. I think it is a tellemarketer as well. The prompts want my SS# or Account number. Never delt with this orginization in my life... I think it is a scam... My student loans are in excellent condition.... Why would these people call for student loans with out the lenders sending notification first? ITS A SCAM STAY AWAY...

They just called me at work saying that my sister (whom they named correctly) referred them to my work number. The rep said I had a huge student loan default. I do not have such a loan, but given my concern, I gave my college, my birthdate, and the last 4 of my SSN to verify that that was not me. After saying that they made a mistake and received wrong info from their agency, it must be a different person with the same name with the same sister's name (although my name is NOT common). The rep assured me that they'd make the correction, but I wanted a confirmation, which she couldn't give me. She also said she couldn't give me the name of the company she worked for (even though I know it's DCS)!! Then she became nasty and hung up on me! So, now I'm annoyed at myself that they now have more info on me than they started with. I should've just given them my attorney's info. What is this company? How have any of you dealt with this after receiving a call that was totally bogus?

A lady called to talk to my son who does not live with me. Said our name was on an application form he had filled out and she needed to talk to him. When I explained he does not live here she then asked for his home phone number and I explained it was in the directory & she said she knew that but when she called that number she could not get a hold of him and that we were listed as his backup number. Then she wanted to know where he worked at so she could call him at his work about the application he had filled out. I explained I was not at liberty to give that information to her and had to hang up on her. She also told me she was with DCS, unfortunately I have forgotten the name she gave me. (we live in Missouri)

I've seen this number come up on my caller ID and when I finally answered they were looking for a neighbor who I don't know.  Told them not to call again.  Idiots.

I'm STILL a student.  Let's get that squared away off rip.  See, if I'm currently enrolled, I don'w OWE STUDENT LOANS!  And when Nelnet says I'm good still, I doubt this DCS company overrides that, as my account is still active, it would have never been turned over to a collection agency.  Marvelous, right?  I told them you eat a fat one, in a not so nice manner.

Individual asked to speak to Virginia; I said "this is she." He then said his name was Aaron Marks and that he was looking for a woman by the name of Sarah who lived at 2515 Oak Hill Drive. He was unable to locate her phone number (land line) but found my number in a list of residents on Oak Hill Drive. He was wondering if I would leave his number and name on her door or contact Sarah and ask her to call him. I told him that I did not know any people in my neighborhood as our residents had constant turnover--not true but I was getting increasingly suspicious of this man. I gave him the name of our neighborhood property management company and told him to look them up to see if someone there would give him Sarah's contact number. I wasn't going to help him.

A man in much haste and with a rude tone asked for me by name but I didn't like the smell of this call and so I said "Who?" He repeated my name but I claimed not to know who he was speaking of. He asked if he had correct, he stated it and I replied yes. I still refused to acknowledge I am who he was looking for. I answered this call with the line "This call will be recorded. This phone number is on all no-call lists. State your business." Since he did not, I did feel obliged to play along either. I smelled this was a scam and now I know it's a scam. I am certain he was calling about my 29-year-old daughter's long, long in default student loan. That, along with this man's intentions, are NOT my problem, nor concern. BTW, daughter's been out of the house a full decade now, but Great Lakes Higher Education obviously turns all records over to them, no matter how old. When GLHE called me the last time for 411 about my daughter's loan, they promised to take my # off their list so I would no longer receive calls about this account that's not mine and never has been. I was shocked to learn it's just over $17,000! Obviously, removing my # was a lie. I expected more from GLHE, especially after the numerous chats we've had about where my daughter is and how she hasn't lived here in years and years, and about how they'd remove my #, etc... because I was obviously trying to help them. Even though my daughter does not deserve any more help from me, since this is taxpayer money that someone else won't receive for their opportunity at a better future, if I had the money I'd have sent it to them myself. But, I do not, especially after being technology-forced into to unemployment for the first time in my 50 years of life. With his rude tone, even my undeserving daughter will be spared from my giving him any single piece of 411 I could have given him. She'll not receive not a nickel from me again either. AS her now-estranged mother, I'm no longer enabling her, nor turning her into undeserving and untrustworthy entities with shady business practices who will no doubt call me more in the future. So there DCS INC, put that in yer pipe and smoke it -- set yourself aflame while you're at it -- making certain that MY phone number gets incinerated just as I hope your face is you efing morons! Not everyone is as stupid as you so obviously believe, and not everyone (especially me) reacts well to being treated in such as manner as DCS did me. I am calling the Oregon police agency suggested in other comments here, and playing the recording of that call for them. And I did say "This call will be recorded. This # is on all no-call lists." blah, blah, blah ... he was still impolitely phishing for information I was not about to share. Intimidation is NOT in my feeling repertoire. Why, yes, I hope he DOES realize that. Or, at least his immediate supervisors do. See ya at the UC office, you rude little cockroach from DCS INC who'll soon be run outta biz anyway. Actually, what I really want to say can only posted thusly: F--- You! DCS INC., if that is your real name -- which I highly doubt. F--- You in the nighttime, baby. I hope you all go to jail so you can really find out exactly why they call it "the pokey." I bet you come out flaming!

This # called my cell. I didn't pick up. This # never leaves a msg. This # called my dad minutes after calling my cell. Her name was Anna Martin. She left a msg with my dad for me to call her back. She would not give out any other information. Not which campany she's calling from or anything. Just that #. After reading all this, I don't think I'll call back.

I was on vacation in Europe with an emergencies only phone number on my outgoing voice mail that DSC called multiple times!!!  They have also since called my cell a number of times, always to ask me about the same girl who I once worked with and no longer do business with since she moved out of country.  The assorted people who call from DCS will do or say ANYTHING to get information out of me, but I don't have any to give, nor would I if I did.  They lie and say that they are calling for a business reference and want to know if she is employed with me.  Then when I offer to give a verbal reference they say they want to get in touch with her.  Or they lie and say that they are her friend and they are looking for her.  Or they say it is an urgent business matter/personal matter.
