- PaigeThey called last night and I don't answer the phone if I don't know the number. My husband answered for me, because I thought it may be something important. My husband answered and the lady on the other end said "Let me speak with Paige (last name)." My last name isn't the one she gave and he told her that and she said, "well then let me speak to Paige." When my husband said I wasn't there and offered to take a message she said, "so, tell me, sir, when will she be home...this is a personal business matter and she is required to speak with me."...I don't even know how they got my personal cell phone number. This is ridiculous

- annonymous -| 1 replykeeps calling my job n harrassing me. I know who my student loans are thru and it isnt DCS, whoever this is. In prior weeks, I would answer my phone at work and I would get a beeping sound as though it was a fax coming thru. Then, I get a call from my cell phone and it is DCS. How in the world did he get my cell phone number?
- NJ BoyCalled me by my first name then corrected herself. Said they were calling on behalf of AES which I do have student loans through. But the amount was way too low because I know what I owe. Then she started getting into wage garnishment, etc. This is all while I was taking a number two. And at 8:30pm. I hung up on her and immediately wiped and called AES to see if it was legit or not. They are scam artists. CALL THE POLICE AND REPORT REPORT REPORT!!!
- MARIECaller kept asking for my brother...I said I would take a message....They kept saying it was a personal matter would not say what DCS was...When I returned the call to the 541 955 7800 number they would give me no information and kept asking for my social security number....Sounded like a lot of telephoneers in the back ground....
Very insistent about getting a social security number...
Beware- Caller: DCS INC
- NicoleI got a call from this number and didn't anwser. When I called (from a block #) they kept transfering me to a general mail box or hang up becasue I wouldn't give them my social. So then I called back and said I dont have a SS# or account number, then I started to ask more questions "like who's calling ?", "whats this in reference to?"; Ms.Wanda Rose refused to anwser my questions. All she would say I'm DCS, so my next question was who is DCS? She kept skating around the question, and then started to get nasty. She said she couldn't find my account by my phone# (becasue I wouldn't give my name) but I told her she was a liar because the woman who transfered me to her looked me up by my phone number, and then it got real good....I kept asking her to tell me what DCS stands for and she said "If I didn't knew what it did stand for why did I call back!" LOL and I replied "that's why I'm calling you." Then she blurts out my name " Are you Nicole LastName!) I said "NO and dont call me again since you can't tell me who you work for!" She said she couldn't take me off a call list so I just hung up; less than ten seconds later she calls my cell phone yelling something(my phone wasn't to my ear) and I just spoke over her and told her to Fnck OFF!!!! I think I might call her back and have a little fun!!!!

- CaseyANSWERED: Anyone getting a call from this number has an outstanding school loan that is now with the collection agency Diversified Collection Services. If you don't then you are associated with someone who does have an outstanding school loan with DCS. You can call them at 209-858-0600
- K-DrexA woman called from DCS to our HR Department. She used every option for employment verification to try to get an employee's personal information. She wouldn't give her name or the reason why she was calling. When we refused to give out any information, she said that she would find a way to contact employee's work location directly to locate this employee.
We immediately sent out a mass email to all HR, Payroll & Receptionists to not take any calls from this number or company.- Caller: DCS
- SueCasey, even if you are "associated" with someone who has a loan, that does not mean that this company has the right to repeatedly call and harass you while trying to get to the other person.
Great Lakes has an outstanding loan for some guy called Benjamin Granby or Gramby. They called my cell phone often even though I informed them that this is not his phone number and I don't even know who this guy is. I told them I have had this phone number for the past 5 years. Not only did they ignore that information, they forwarded the phone number to DCS.
DCS has now been informed as well. It makes no sense to continue to contact me when I have never heard of this person, had NO association with him, and have informed them of these facts. I should not have to change my phone number because they insist on calling. My next step will be to contact the state's consumer protection agency. Enough is enough.- Caller: DCS
- KTSaw this caller come up several times on caller ID. Husband answered the phone and they were looking for someone else who works for us part-time. Wanted his home phone number - we didn't give it to them - He gave his name as Kyle Marks at DCS. It was a different number than the one that came up before - new number to watch for is 541-955-2609. I know he doesn't have any default loans and neither do my husband or I.
- SusanCaller would not identify purpose for call or business type. Caller was calling about a person I know but wouldn't say what about. Caller said she was with "PCI" and that it was "a personal matter".
- B CarrollThey will not identify themselves always calling my job.
- AnnoyedI have gotten two calls so far from this number - no message had been left. I googled the number and found all this information here. Thank you for helping find out about this number so that I can make appropriate decision how to handle this.
- Mr BSeveral calls; appears to be DCS, Inc. which claims to be a collection agency for student loans. I am 72 years old, NEVER got any student loans of any kind. Caller will not give any information.

- yepiereceived 30 September 2009
caller ID was DSC, Inc. caller left a message to return the call. I did so and asked for the person whose name I do not remember and the person who answered said he would tranfer me to that first person and when it transferred it was to another person who did not answer the phone. received another call on 3 October 2009 and when I saw the caller ID as DSC, Inc I did not pick up. No message was left this time. - AngI've talked to these people before, but now I'm
even more skeptical. I have defaulted on school loans and currently am
not employed. I thought it was a legitimate collections
agency. I think I'll call the place I actually got the loan from. It's sad that we all have to be so skeptical about every person we come in contact with. It's sad that there are so many crappy people out there willing to
scam.- Caller: OR, USA
- annoyedCalls my house 3 times a day. when i call it back I'm told the number has been dis-connected. How can it be disconnected if someone keeps calling me from it?

- Caller: Grants .....
- PAMy mother and my father in law received calls for me from this DCS Inc. company. They did not call me and leave a message for me. When I called back they started asking for banking information...... When I asked why this was needed, they could not provide me with an answer. When I spoke with a "manager" she ended up hanging up on me after talking over me. I called back and told them that their customer service sucks... they then informed me that they are not customer service ... they are debt collectors. Either way they are dealing with people and should have better manners, if nothing else. I was giving different information by two of the people that I talked to.... scam or not? When a company calls asking for personal information and you have researched their phone number and it comes up with scam... who do you trust?
- Caller: DCS Inc.
- TLCalled my small business saying they "needed" to speak to the person in charge of payroll. I asked why, they said it was regarding a wage garnishment issue. I asked if they were an employee of the Federal or State government, to which they responded yes. I then asked which agency, specifically, and she put me on hold, then came back and fessed up to lying.
These people are complete scumbags and should be put out of business.- Caller: DCS
- receptionistI'm a receptionist at an accounting firm, I keep receiving a call for one of our employeed.
