This is a collection agency In Pennsylvania. It seems to be obvious that thay don't know they're doing or they get you on the phone so they can keep your account active. Although they usually talk to you, their agents seem to be shy or inexperienced but what it is is, for sure, is confusing.

 Updating your accountant status doesn't seem to be a bad thing, but it does makes sure that your credit doesn't get any better. If the account was in an inactive status(due to no contact or payments for a period of three years or more), it probably wasn't making a difference on your credit score. Once they updated your account, it counts as new activity on an old account which causes your credit to take a hit and sometimes a big one.

 So, if you're going to pay it back, cool, take the hit and get rid of the negative account, yeah! But, if you're willing to go the 7 years with no phone calls (to or from the creditors) or payments, it will drop off your credit report without a problem, maybe. You might have to get a credit repair kit to get the old accountant off of your report. Well, I hope this helped with more than just "Who Calls Me?"

I gets these calls once a month or so, I have an internet phone through http://www.packet8.net ,through my packet-8 account I can log into my account on-line type in there number and Block any number from ringing my phone that I type in, the service is well worth it and its cheaper than land-line or digital phone service, I answer the phone and if no one talks to me or they talk stupit Then I do a search and find a site like this one, and then I log in and Block them, and then thats it till next month :)

We do not owe ANY money to anyone. This is clearly a scam people, get real!

Besides, the girl that says she got letters from them is searching a company USBC when it is really USCB. The guy that called me an hour ago said his name was Dave, ext. 124 @ 1-570-876-6309.

I keep getin a call from 570-876-6309, it rings and they hang up after the second so I dont have time to answer unlsee the phone is already in my hand. Any way when I call back I get the same story as the other posts have gotten. I have a sloution for those who are getting these calls on their cell phones, I dont know if this will work for a landline phone but it is worth a try. Go to WWW.YOUMAIL.COM it is a free voicemail site where you can put differnt voicemail messages on your phone (a diffrent one for each phone number that calls you if you want), anyway, you can put a message on you phone saying that it has been disconnected but it will only say that for the numbers you choose, the others can have a real message. This should slove your problem.

They keep calling my mom's number asking for me by my divorced name and claiming that I left them her number to get in touch with me.  I have no Idea who they are and when I asked they said they were USCV and I asked what that stands for they just said it was the name of their company. The guy even gave his ext # 126.  I dont give nobodies number out and especially give people a name I haven't had in over a year and a half.  Something needs to be done about these people.

After the past 3 months of constant annoyment I decided to fight back. I did some research I found out some informtaion about the President of the company. His name is Mike Zadarosni 62 years old and his home telephone number is (570)876-3488. Now I can't be responsible for what someone does with that number but all I know is that he enjoys being called at home at 3AM in the morning. Remember to *67. By the way his wife's name is Carol and she is also 62 years old. There home address is 129 Oak Hill Dr Archbald, PA 18403. This number worked as of 5/5/2009 but I'm sure after they start receiving a bunch of calls from random people they will probably change their phone number. So hurry up as time is running out! Damn I love the internet!

I get these calls & never a voicemail.  Weird.  My solution is to save the number with the contact info as DO NOT ANSWER.

my sister text me the # because they call her and she is under 18. i called and they wouldnt let me talk to a super  unless i gave a # and i did and requested no more calls made to my sister. company uscb

I have been getting calls also and then last week we got a check for over 4,000 from USB Corp that told us not to try to cash it and to send them 2,000 and some odd dollars and we will get 122,000.  We took it to our bank and talked to an officer of the bank.  She told us it is clearly a scam, which I suspected and she further said to NEVER send these people anything.  I am getting a lot of calls now every day and I just don't answer.  I don't know how they got our information, but I believe they may be cruising the job hunting websites such as Monster, CareerBuilder, etc. and glean information such as phone numbers, etc.  So anyway, hope that helps.  I am going to block this number myself because it is a pesty thing.

The phone rings everyday at 2:15pm.. and then again at 2:20.. i could set my watch by it. after the nasty conversation my boyfriend had with them a few weeks ago i will not answer.. i started to get nervous a few weeks ago b/c i had no idea how these ppl knew so much about me.. so i had my "live in" boyfriend answer the phone... for me, the number is local.. the address that it gives is just a few mins from my home.. so on top of the fact that i      thought it was a friend playing a joke on me.. i wanted it to stop.. sooo when my boyfriend answered and told the nasty woman on the other line that she had the wrong number the lady got really mouthy and started yelling all this stuff about me and how she knew where i lived and that i was in big trouble.. and "we" needed to get it taken care of now... My boyfriend just hung up.. and the number continued to call at least 10 more times that night.. and everyday at least 3 times a day sense... (i actually drove down to that address.. and there is nothing there)  its an old bar... doesnt look like theres been anyone in the building in 50 years... i dont know who they are and how they got any of my info... but apparently they cant take a hint... i was told if you have a "smart phone" and you have personal info linked to your phone network such as pin numbers, and pass codes for email.. DO NOT ANSWER.. the longer you stay on the phone with these people the easier it is for them to hack your phone... and get your personal information.. hope this helps..

So, I am not an atty, but here is the scoop as I can find it. I "owed" money for an online course I started over a year ago but never finished. I was told by the original creditor that if I quit the course, the I would lose the tuition break I received at the begining. So I kept paying... needless to say, I missed a payment or two then I was able to try to get things caught up. Next thing I know, I get this letter from USCB stating "Unless you contact us IN WRITING and within 30 days you are presumed to have no valid defence or alternative to just procedures. We are not representing directly or indirectly that legal action has been taken against you, at this time. To avoid unpleasant recovery actions you must act immediately.." which is kind of funny since they are not licensed to do business in the state I live in. So, I go to find out who they are since they are in violation of several sub para within the FDCPA of 1977.. and I find this. HE HE ... gonna get em! On top of which they are in for a surprise when I file against them!

They call every day to my cell.  I did not recognize the # so I have never answered these calls.  Keep getting so many consecutive (daily) calls that I thought I would google the #.  These comments have confirmed my suspicions that this is a call best not answered.

I just got a call from this number today. I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognize, and I figured it wasn't important since they never left a voicemail. I'm glad I decided to google the number and see what was up. I'll definitely NOT be answering if they decide to call back.

has anyone used Penn foster school just wondering because this number is connected to it as a collection agency I encorage you all to check your credit reports asap!!!!

They called me today on my cell phone asking for "Steven" who is my father who has been deceased for the past 19 years.  I called them back from a blocked line and they said something like USCB?

570-876-6309 They are USCB corporation a collection agency representing Penn Foser College - an online college.  Are they legite?

yeah I called this number several times trying to find out why they are reporting this penn foster on my credit report and I kept getting this lady who says that this is not USCB corporation but a private resident. I have never recieved any phone calls from these guys thankfully or any letters just showed up on my credit report and I am having the hardest time getting it off disputed several times and is currently in dispute. Also be careful of a company called Oxford Collection agency they are connected to this penn foster as well I disputed it with Equifax and they deleted it today I was very happy but experian is still reporting that one and this USCB corporation.

The number is for a company called USCB corp and they say they work for Stratford Career Institute. These people do not understand when you try to talk to them and they still call a number that is no longer mine and they hang up when someone answers that line and immediately calls me on my cell phone. They have tp be stopped. They continue to harrass you even when you give them the info they want.
