I received phones calls from 570-876-6309 over the past 5 days. the calls are at different times but when I answer i get put on hold and told that my call is being put through. I usually hang up at this point.  I don't if this is a company or just a scam.

You are a coward!!! Who ever wrote this .  And you people are entrapping people into enrolling into your bs schools, knowing if they should change their minds, you think you got us hook line and sinker.  As for the so called monitoring phones, since when is a person obligated lets hear the tapes of people saying yes, I wil give date and times and it still dont make it legal what you freaks are doing.  Now whos the idiot???

Why do you bother to answer?? They will keep calling till you catch them and when you do tell them to go to hell and they will leave you alone.

Start calling them as much as they call you in the am and the pm as "that person" states that it is legal time to call.  And call and call and call and tell them you will call them tomorrow as they claim THEY will do, and see how much they like it.

I agree with you read my replies and hope they help they are unprofessional and who ever wrote that is a coward and when they said about the person who tracked down their boss, now he sees how it feels to harrass people how he like it???

This number keeps calling my home. My home number is unlisted and not even in my name. How did they get the number? They call at all hours. They never leave a message. When you do answer they say that I owe money. I have sent the money to the address they gave me and they still call.  My checks were never cashed, though. Odd.... They called again today and were very rude to my boyfriend that answered the call. I am going to do some more research.

This number keeps calling my cell phone on a daily basis. When I answer it is a recording that is asking me to hold on, their representatives are busy right now.

I keep getting calls requesting that I phone 570 876 6309.  A lookup of that number shows it belongs to USCB Corp. and that they are a debt collection agency.  A sweet English voice requests the call but provides no information.

(1) Does not Federal Law require that they notify those they phone of this?
(2) I’ve lived alone at the address they phone for nearly 20 years and had the same phone number for over 10.  I’ve NEVER had a debt, never had a payment even late.  I’ve checked with all three credit rating services and all show I have a clean record.
(3) No matter how often they phone I will not spend even one dime to phone them back.  I WILL report this to local and Federal authorities.

I get calls and a gal with a sweet English voice merely requests that I call 570-875-6309 for “a very important message.”

(1) She does NOT identify herself as employed by a debt collector.
(2) I’ve lived alone at my present address for almost 20 years and had the same phone number for over 10.
(3) I graduated from college in 1953 and NEVER applied for or wanted anything from any of the schools you mention or contacted any one of them either by phone or otherwise.
(4) I’ve NEVER had an unpaid debt…ALL my creditors are paid in full EVERY month.  I’ve checked with Equifax, Experian and Trans Union and there are NO reports of unpaid debts.
(5) Your CEO’s name is given several places on the Internet along with that of his wife.  Dun and Bradstreet, available at my local library, has more on your company.

QUIT YOUR LYING!!!!!!

I just received a letter from them saying I owe $555.52 to a payday loan company in PA. I have never had a payday loan and I live in Las Vegas. The letter says the original creditor is www.quikpayday.com but when I try to go to that web site, it does not exist. They sound like a scam of some sort.

I constantly receive calls from this number. I looked on this site, and on the Better Business bureau.  They are classified as a debt collections agency, but are not bbb approved because of numerous complaints that were unresolved, and they have no history.

I believe it is just a scam. If you happen to actually talk to whomever is on the other side of the line, tell them to cease and desist all future calls. Its the law that they must abide. I will be checking my bank statements to make sure they have not already charged my account, and will put a stop to future payments. I advise others to do the same.

I've had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with many collection agencies over the past 3 years after losing a six figure job and having to drastically change my lifestyle.  That said I see now I have another to deal with by reading the posts here.  It surprises me on how many people here give advise that really shouldn't be given without knowing the facts.  For one, a business is not "BBB approved" or disapproved based on complaints, the business has to pay a membership fee to be "BBB approved"...funny how the Better Business bureau works!  It's all about the money.  My wife has her own small business and I found it appalling that her business "looked" shity (D rating) simply because she did not pay to become and member and the history part is just information you fill out when you apply.  Sorry, the whole BBB thing really digs me after seeing my wife pretty much forced into membership!  Anyway, from my experience dealing with collection agencies, some reps you get are good, some aren't, pretty much like any call center...think about calling Verizon or Comcast or something...it's pretty much hit or miss.  What I've done is just talk resonable with people and try to figure out how we can work together....get rude, and you'll probably get it right back at you.  Speak to people with respect and usually get the same respect in return.  And as far as the stop calls and cease and desist stuff goes...tried that route, next letter for served to me!  Yeah, I wouldn't talk to them so they just sued me...but looking back I deserved it...I did spend the money, if someone owed me I'd want the money too.  Bad situation all together but after being very bitter for awhile, and my sweet wife pointing out that I was the one being the ass, not the collection agencies trying to recoup money I didn't pay I realized it wasn't their fault or the banks or the whatever company I owed, it was mine...I bought all the services, agreed to all the "terms", and it was my life that got turned upside down, none of which was the fault these creditors or collection agencies.  Obviously I've come to realize that I can't change what happened and I wasn't going to just get beat up and sit down and take it...since then I've found a new job (not near the same pay) but pretty much started over and am just working even harder to get ahead...trust me...no one's gonna give it to you!  Anyway, I'll let ya all know how this one goes when I call them back...Good luck everyone!

number called me today thought i would google to see what it was, i dont owe any money to anyone except my student loans, its very scary having read through this

I get calls three to four times a day for Jennifer Strickland.  I have the number she had prior to me getting it.  They are the most rudest and nasty people.  They lie also!  I called them back and got a lady who stated her name was Vickie, 8/3/2010 At 4:58 pm EST, and she was telling me no one from that number had called my number and in the same sentance asked was I Jennifer Strickland.  

I hate debt collectors that harrass you by calling you.  No reminders are NEVER needed of a debt owed.

Jennifer Strickland, please give USCB another number for you, even better please call nice nasty Vickie @  570-876-6309!
