These people call me at work, getting tried of them. I tell them that I don't work there anymore. These
people are a scam.

Big money should take a few spelling courses as well as proper use of "their" and "there".

This is a collections agency. They kept calling me and I didn't answer. Finally I called back and apparently they were trying to contact someone I've never heard of before. They said they'd mark it as a wrong number. In these days of high personal debt and cell phones, people are likely to be switching numbers all the time, especially people who are sick of calls by collections agencies.

Hi u r being reported to the bbb with a link to this post. I hope the company you work for goes into bankruptcy. Furthermore, I have never used any of those companies for school courses! I prefer to take classes the old fashioned way. You Should be fired for your insulting comments!

That is exactly what everyone should do.  If you have a cell phone answer only numbers you are familiar with send all other numbers to voicemail every single time. After checking your voice mails label all scam calls and collection calls as Do Not Answer and then give thenm a silent ringer or send them straight to vmail. Get a blocker app if you have a smart phone or talk to your cell carrier about blocking the numbers for you. Do the same at home with caller ID for those that still have land lines. You don't have to answer your phone ever. Its your phone use only to talk to the people you choose to talk to. They will stop calling if they don't have anyone at your number to bother they can't make money off dead ends.

This phone number came up on my caller ID box.  I don't pick up phone calls unless I know who's calling me.  I noticed that the Caller ID read "USCB".  I decided to do a reverse phone lookup and found this site.  After reading all the messages, I cannot tell if this company is a scam or not.  Some of you reference on line schools and not paying the bill.  Well, if you sign up for an online course, you must pay the bill.

Others indicate that they owe no debt and this is a scam.  How many of you have actually reported this company?  I couldn't find any compliants on line.  I am confused.

your representative rudely demanded payment from someone named Joyce, who has not had our telephone number for MORE THAN A YEAR.  We demand you stop calling our phone number and ceases harassing us.

To begin with sir, the Federal law states that you can call after 8:00 a.m. and before 9:00 p.m., not 10:00 p.m. as you stated.  Secondly, when I received a letter from your firm, I called the number and told them it was not me.  They said this "debt" went back to 2004.  I then informed them it was a mute point--there is a 6 year statute of limitations on this type of account.  The supervisor then lied to me and told me there is no statute of limitations.  This is a bold face lie and a violation of the fair debt collection act.  People don't be fooled by their lies.  Even if they have a signed contract, check the statute of limitations in your state.  Everything has a statute of limitations except murder.  I have worked for a collections attorney and received extensive training on the fair debt collections act and I must say people like these give all collectors a very bad name!

I receive phone calls from 570.876.6309 at all hours of the day and evening. As soon as I answer (Big Surprise here) they HANG UP. Very VERY very VERY tired of them calling me!!!!  I reported this number to the FCC Consumer Complaints Department (Federal Consumer Complaints Division) their website address is www.fcc.gov. Then click on the "Take Action" tab, fill out the form and click on "Submit". If enough people file a FORMAL COMPLAINT against this phone number maybe, JUST MAYBE, these annoying phone calls will stop!!!!!

I took some courses and got behind in my payments and my account was sent you, You have been a great help to me. I took the courses from several schools and they ended up with you, I talk to a lady in your office and she was very helpful. I would have to agree with you on everything you stated in your comments. Not all people out there realize that not every company is bogus. If you took the course to better your self than you need to pay for it.........

I was getting calls from this number on my cell phone a few times a week. I answered once after I had gone to bed and a man said, "Hi, this is Tom from Home Security. How are you?"  I replied, "I was F***ING sleeping. How do you think I am???"  He promptly hung up, but now they call EVERY day!  I have more respect for pimps and crack [***] than these low lifes.

They are a legitimate company and stick to the FDCPA guidelines. If you did not have a debt with any of the companies they represent (mostly correspondence schools), ask to speak with a supervisor to have your number removed from the account. They are very aggressive but they are not a scam. All calls are recorded so if you receive a call you feel is inappropriate call them, speak with a supervisor and ask to have the call pulled for review. Being aggressive is not illegal and as long as they are calling between 8AM and 9PM, do not call more than once per day (if they speak to you, otherwise they can leave as many messages as they want...and can call you at work until you or your employer specifically state otherwise), do not use profanity, and do not threaten to take action they cannot legally take, they are within their rights. Just some legit info from a former collector....

Im sorry. I have to make a comment..i cant sit here and listen about all these complaints about this company. I see most of you need to get your facts straight. research the business. Its legit. No scam. If people werent so fast paced in this world and quick to judge maybe you would learn something. Statue of limitations is the amt of time they can put the outstanding debt on ur credit report. There is NO statue of limitations on how long a bad debt can be collected on. Wow and for the ppl who talk crap about getting a real job. All I have to say is look what u doing. Sitting home all day, mad cuz you dont have a job and then you get a call from someone who has a good job w benefits and retirement plan and  you immediately start hating. Your jealous because u signed up to better urself with an online degree, never read the actual terms and conditions. Think just bc u said you would pay that you dont have to and then wait for the phone to ring so u can [***] about poor me....im getting calls from a bill collector....pay ur bill and u wont get a call. Bottom line...im tired of being the victim of abuse from ppl like you all day long.....put on ur big girl or boy, pants. And go get a job. Then vb pay ur bills. U have time to [***] on this website.
