They called me and said I owed money to some guy named Ken.  I told them they were crazy.  I don't owe anybody money.  She then asked if the last 4 of my social sec. # was ____.  I said she was absolutely insane if she thought I would actually fall for that one and repeat my actual SS #.  I think it's a hoax.  The woman didn't even sound professional at all.  They need to get a life.

I have recently started getting calls from this number. My caller ID says USCB Corp. I have NO clue as to who they are. I looked up USCB corp, and all I found was a sorry looking webpage saying something about prefab homes and such. I can barely afford the Apt. I live in, why would I be looking into a home !!?? Has anyone actually talked to anyone from this number and found out what to heck they really want ?

Third call from this number over the last three weeks.   First call they wouldn't leave a message.   Second call was missed and no voice mail left.   Answered the third time, today.   Calling for my husband, but they were really looking for someone else with the same name.   They said he owed for a pharmacy class in another part of the country.  The caller was obviously from a collection agency trying to collect a bad debt.   Just calling anyone they could find with the same name.   Told them to stop calling.   Hopefully they will.

I completed my program at US Career Institute and was paying my school debt religiously and life happened, you are under the sad impression that these individuals want to be in debt and don't care about their credit, but since you haven't been paying attention people have lost jobs and homes and gone broke due to the economical downfall so if they have fallen behind in payments it's not because they are idiots, lazy, or irresponsible. For you to take such an aggressive approach to the replies on here shows the type of company you choose to work for. Unkind, aggressive, and illegal in your practices. I can say this for certain as I get multiple phone calls in a row multiple times a day from your company which since you want to bring up the Federal Fair Practice Act, I refer to subsection 806 (5) about harrassment. It states that a company can not make a phone ring multiple times or become an annoyance. That is illegal. Since falling behind on payments I have made the effort to start paying the debt off again and still get the phone calls which is illegal. So perhaps you should broaden you perception on why people fall behind in payments before you get on the defense and understand why individuals give your company bad reviews.

same happened here these people are very good at what they do . con artists .. they are not getting a dime from me again they can threaten all they want too . there should be a class action law suit against these sharks. they are  criminals that rob with a pen . so they named their school almost what it should be maybe penn criminals would be more like it. its not a collection agency its the school trying to scam you all over again

almost a year ago i called and requested info from stratford career inst. I NEVER received any info from them. Now im getting phone calls from them and they wont stop. they even went so far as to call my mothers house which i never gave them that number. i never signed a contract, nor did i receive any info from them. i spoke with one man from uscb he said send them a letter stating what happened and everything would be ok. nay nay today some woman called and said for me to give her over $5OO . i said im not paying anything when i never received any info. she said well then have a nice day and hung up on me. how unprofessional.  what do i do now contact the bbb or a  lawyer any one have any ideas let me know.

I'd like to let you know that yes I had a school debt with your company, not because I'm irresponsible but because I'm self-employed and the economy made it to difficult to pay. I did pay the debt to your company as quickly as I could. Your company lied to me, I was told that if I paid the debt as agreed upon I would receive all my books and art supplies. That has never happened. Before you post a rude letter like you did, stop and think that those that you so insensitively insulted are why you even have a job.

They called my Aunt yesterday (how they got her number I dont know).  I sent them a "Cease and Desist" letter and now they are calling her.  She doesnt have my same last name as me and I dont know where they got her number.

I will write them a Cease and Desist letter for her number.  She has Cancer and is dying  and I hate the fact that they called her and upset her.

I too have gotten calls from them but I do owe the money and made an payment payment plan with them. But they are saying that my bank couldn't find the account so now I have to pay the isnf fee .DO NOT that classes from at-home professions or any school out of Fort Collins they are not what they claim.

you guys sent me a letter saying I owe Penn Foster $856.80 for doing 1 out of 33 lessons. Your company told me I was bound by a contract and that is true. I have my contract and it states I don't owe the whole thing like your company said I did. Your company is the "IDIOT" in this case. How can you even be a company calling everyone dumb and IRRESPONSIBLE PEOPLE. USCB wont even give there real address. You are a scam trying to trick people out of there money.

I want them to stop calling my phone.  They are looking for someone who doesn't have this number anymore.  I don't know who the person is and i want it stopped

I'm calling BS here. Collection agencies often get wrong numbers but the responsible agencies will remove the number if requested. There is a lot of bad "paper" being floated around in the collections market. I've gotten calls wanting information on neighbors, family, friends and people I've never heard of before as well as cold calls phishing for the gullible. I've also received calls for bills that have been paid and one a**clown who tried to double bill me for a doctor's visit that my insurance had taken care of.

Once again, I'm calling BS on your pleas of legitimacy. True, the people calling for the most part are simply employees doing their job and shouldn't be abused, however; the industry as a whole is a primordial stew of dog poo scum growth.

P.S. They do call more often than three times a day and why wouldn't one call a day be sufficient if you're willing to talk to them that one time? I know logic is probably lost here but it's worth a shot.

Likewise, the economy is bad right now, Jason, and people are scared. When someone calls them out of the blue demanding money that they don't have they are going to lash out. A lot of people are too worried about their mortgages, utilities, and car payments to give a rat's [***] about a -$1000 bill from a bogus college.
