Report a phone call from 571-431-1960 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- BostonHas called twice...I don't answer, but if it's related to BoA I'd beware. I had my Debit/Visa card numbers "stolen" recently (and I do not internet shop with it) and some jerk used it to by hot rod parts in CA.
- Someone| 4 repliesI wouldn't care to talk with any of you. You're the type of people that get mad because you don't get great service with T-Mobile, American Express, Bank Of America...but you're not willing to take the time to do a 3-5 minute survey for satisfaction over the phone to change that. Then you guys have no reason to complain about the service you receive. And if you are okay with the service you receive from those companies, simply pick the call up, tell them you're satisfied with everything and you're not interested in the survey. It's that easy...but I guess if you're lazy then I could see why that would be such a hard task to complete. But the funny thing is, you have a better chance for the calls to discontinue if you tell the interviewer from Martiz that you're not interested in the survey, than you would coming on here and complaining about all of these calls that you've been receiving and taking the time to report it all to this website. Usually you get a interviewer that understands and will put your call as a refused or something or other-unless you accidentally get a call again, and that's when you politely tell the interviewer that you've already taken the survey or you've refused it already. Come on people it's 5 minutes out of your day. It's not the end of the world.ALSO, the number that they usually call is a number than you give out to your companies and then the company forwards it to the research company it hires. They don't sell your number. Especially when they possibly hire someone that is only making satisfaction calls or surveys. Think about it...I understand the calls get annoying, but you can solve the issue so much faster if you pick up the call and tell them your not interested in completing whatever they are asking, because if you don't answer or just hang up they will continue to call until they reach someone. It's not considered a refused until you mention the fact that you're not interested. Simple as that. And, if you're really upset, ask to be put on the DO NOT CALL LIST for THAT COMPANY (Say, "I want to be placed on "YOUR" do not call list." The reason I know this is because one of my friends just signed up for T-Mobile, and was receiving the calls for a survey and he simply said, Please place me on YOUR do not call list. And I believe he was polite and actually said "Thank You." And that was the first and only call he received. People, our society is so lazy, vulgar and rude- everyone should understand that it's someones job to make those calls, and you people are usually the ones that either make or break their night. Just do yourself a favor, and stop the process before it gets annoying (and you're receiving 8 calls a night), and just answer the call if its a research company, either take the survey, and hope the information gets passed on the big wigs, or simply refuse it.

- wamegodreamweaverGot a call from 571-431-1960. When my answering machine picked up, the call disconnected. I haven't complained about anything and don't know why they called. I'm on the do not call registry, but evidently they don't care.
- Marie CoteTHey keep calling - No voice mail.
- Joedid not answer
- Susan in MA.As usual, we do not answer & check Caller ID later. As is often the case, no message was left (They want a sneak attack). These days it's either no message or an automated recording. Caller ID says Maritz Research. It must be Maritz Marketing Research, which is headquartered just west of St. Louis, MO. (I know the company and the area). They started calling a few days ago. We'll continue not to answer. I expect that they'll have stamina, but so do we from plenty of practice. I'll never dial an 800 number believing that it'll get me off a calling list. If a company cared, it would have checked with the Do Not Call Registry. I'm much too paranoid, and won't make the mistake of thinking that I'm so bright that I can figure every angle.
- Caller: Maritz Research
- JohnnyReceieved the call at 7:43PM on 11/11/09. They left no message.
- JohnBearThey called twice this evening. We don't answer, and our answering machine is in French, so other telemarketers don't usually call back. They may be a legitimate company, or maybe not. Apparently they do surveys about customer service, according to other sites.

- angry replies to PAULYeh, I got the call too. Only a 30 second survey huh? I guess that's wonderful, but how about when they wake you up and you can not fall back to sleep though! These people should be get the tar and feather treatment, sued or even worse for destroying the rapidly eroding quality of life of most Americans! Thanks Congress, Senate and our Corporate leadership for making life just a series of 30 second surveys, public announcements, politicians (vote for me B.S.) and companies that want to know how much you like your new cell phone etc. that you just bought. I thought the consumers fought for and won a tiny bit of privacy in their lives. I guess money wins again! Just go and buy a politician, God bless America and capitalism (CORPORATE GREED). Between the thousands of surveys, corporate call backs whenever you purchase something (would you like to upgrade your existing service? etc. etc. etc. Not everyone sleeps at night and many people have severe arthritis, sleep disorders and other issues (sleeping babies) etc. that they are have a very difficult life to begin with, and now thanks to these "Ignorers" of the do not call registry, continue to make life a misery for so many. Im glad they only took 30 seconds out of your day, "maybe you are one of them", not to care about the millions of other people who are not as lucky as you! CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS!!!
- Mad as He** replies to SomeoneHow dare you defend these horrible people! Many people have night jobs, many people have babies that finally got to sleep after keeping mom up all night, many people have severe arthritis, sleep disorders or other health problems, and many people are just plain exhausted after a hard day at work! Some people have loved ones that are terminally ill, or trying to relax and get a little rest. How dare you defend these criminals who disturb the peace over and over and over....with continuous "uninvited break ins" into their homes! And you have the audacity to say that these people are LAZY? Then again....Maybe it is "not" your own home after all, maybe the corporations own that too! It is not like there are only a couple uninvited phone calls a week....many people get dozens and even more. The only people who defend these "horrible phone annoyances", or as I call them (hate crimes against people seeking refuge), are people who run the telemarketing firms, or are "Shills" for them! I am sick and tired of reading (seems like one in every phone number complaint) that these calls only make life better for us! If you own a telemarketing company, or work for one do not visit this site again! These sites are for the victims, not the ones doing the crime! These people at home are not the LAZY people, it is the business people who want the consumer to do their work for them that is lazy! If some one does not like the service, they "will" call to complain, and get a recording that pretty much tells them that no one gives a "Bleep"! People can and should SUE these companies! A 5 minute call that wakes up a sleeping person can keep him from falling back to sleep, and completely ruin their on most occasions much needed rest periods! I repeat! Many, Many, Many People live under different circumstances than you! Many people have sleep disorders, work nights have health problems etc. They are not all LAZY! How dare you! publish such thoughtless insight on this major...Yes MAJOR problem many people have when some one invades their home? And if you were perhaps a little bit more street wise, you would be aware that these "Monopolies" could care less what the consumer thinks!! Try getting hold of a complaint department in one of those Huge, Cold Hearted Corporations! I once broke a tooth biting down on a non-food item in a can of peanuts from Planters, and after a week of trying to contact anybody there that would hear me, I gave up. I was only trying to tell them what had happened to me , so that maybe they could correct what caused the problem so no one else would get hurt. NO RESPONSE AT ALL! So stop telling these fairy tales of corporate "Love" and such! NOBODY is "ever" going to believe you! Never in my life could I imagine someone spending so much time and effort, and tossing out so many insults to victims of a crime as you have done here! Very suspicious!!! Read some of these horror story's that some people have shared on this site and others before you start insulting everyone! Okay, lets see if I got your incredibly well thought out picture of things here....There are thousands of companies that we do business with, and they all seem to want to wake us up so that they can do a better job to make us happy? You have GOT to be kidding!
- CarloThis person said his name was Mr Washington and told me he was calling from Publishing Clearing House he gives codes for you to recall back. I called PCH and they told it is not them...beware of this scams! and do not send money!
