They keep calling me and I keep ignoring them.  They don't leave a message.  I set my phone so they go straight to voicemail now so I don't have to run to my phone and find it is noone I care to talk to.

I keep getting calls on my cell from this number.  I don't know anyone from this number nor anyone in northern Virginia.  No messeage is left.  I want them to stop calling!!

I received a call from this number, a man with a heavy accent said he was calling me from Capital One with a survey about my recent call to Capital One.....it seemed suspicious.  So, I called Capital One and spoke with a Cust. Svc. Rep. and they said that there is a survey company that does surveys for Capital One, but DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OF ANY KIND OUT!  The best thing for you to do is get their Employee ID# and call Capital One at once.  As for me.....I will be ignoring this call.....since I am a Identity Theft Victim.  :o(

They've called at different times durning the day about twice a day. When I pick the phone up no one answers.

I am sending this about the complaint I have concerning calls from Maritz Reasearch.  Never heard of them until this message arrived on my phone yesterday. How does one get them to stop?   To let this go on is absurd and rude. Can't somebody trace their calls and put a stop to this nonsense? Don't they or he/she have something better to do with their lives?

Called at 10:30pm eastern on 6/1/11.  Stopped after 4 rings, no message.

This is listed as Maritz Research which apparently does surveys for companies that you may have done business with. Having your number registered with the National Do Not Call Registry will not prevent these calls - If you registered with them they have a list of “exclusions” as noted on the website.  
“Placing your number on the National Do Not Call Registry will stop most telemarketing calls, but not all. Because of limitations in the jurisdiction of the FTC and FCC, calls from or on behalf of political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors would still be permitted, as would calls from companies with which you have an existing business relationship, or those to whom you’ve provided express agreement in writing to receive their calls. However, if you ask a company with which you have an existing business relationship to place your number on its own do-not-call list, it must honor your request.  You should keep a record of the date you make the request.
If the call is really for the sole purpose of conducting a survey, it is not covered. Only telemarketing calls are covered — that is, calls that solicit sales of goods or services. Callers purporting to take a survey, but also offering to sell goods or services, must comply with the National Do Not Call Registry.”
I just called the Maritz Do Not Call number 800 864-8601and got the automated attendant asking me to confirm the number that I don’t want called – takes up to 3 day

have gotten 4 calls from this number in the past 24 hours.  They never leave any messages and have no ideal what they want.  have filed complaint with the people and do not call.gov

Called my Do Not Call number and left no message.

Phone rings, we answer, nobody on the line. Eventually a click as the caller hangs up. How do we stop such calls?

Got yet another call from these a**holes today.  I was so fed up that I went to their web site and emailed the person who was listed as being in charge of calls to people like us, Bonnie Murphy, email bonnie.murphy@maritz.com .  I wrote, "Your company keeps calling me.  I have not given ANY companies permission to call me, INCLUDING companies that I do business with, whom I ALWAYS tell NEVER to call me.  YOU ARE CALLING MY CELL PHONE.  STOP CALLING ME.  TAKE THIS NUMBER OFF OF ALL YOUR LISTS IMMEDIATELY AND PERMANENTLY:  ..."  I added that there were dozens of pages of complaints from people who got calls from them, and told her to email me back confirming that I would NEVER get a call from them again.

To her credit, she emailed me back a couple of hours later and said my number is now on their internal do-not-call list.  I SUGGEST THAT EVERYONE WHO SEES THIS, EMAIL HER TELLING HER TO TAKE THEIR NUMBER OFF TOO -- maybe if these jerks get enough emails from people, they will realize that they should stop calling.  (I doubt it, but I like the idea of making them miserable.)

I hate that these guys are NOT covered by the do-not-call list, since they do surveys.  What pisses me off is companies giving them my number in the first place, since I have never given them permission to do so.

Perfectly legitimate call.  It was a follow up survey from my recent purchase of a new Scion xB.  The survey took about 10 minutes.

I received a call from this number on 8/11/11 and it was like others have posted, a research company that was doing a customer satisfaction follow up call concerning a new credit card I had just activated.  CitiGroup told me while I was activating my new card that I would receive a follow up call the next day.  That's all it was.

Repeated calls. Unanswered because most likely tele-marketers.

I got a call today and I have received other calls in the past.  They always hang up when I answer, maybe because I'm never in a hurry to answer the phone.  Anyway I called them back and got a recording.  It says that because they are not telemarketers and are not selling anything, they do not have to follow the do not call registry.  They do however have an 800 number to call and get on their do not call list.  The number is 1-800-864-8601 it is automated and only takes a minute.

Just got a call from whoever it was (just said unknown). Funny that I never get calls like this, until I was stupid and gave a Ziebart retailer my phone-number.

Habitual caller and never leaves message. Have emailed company twice to be removed from calling list.

It is very hard for me sometimes to get to the phone an this numbers calls at 830 or sometimes at 900 pm i answer and there is a click on the line and no one to talk to I do not have long distance on my phone so i can not call them back. If you call someone you should at least talk to them instead of just hanging up REALLY annoying i don't have t-mobile of bank of america  american express or any complaint with any company . We are also on a do not call list.  it is only a list they don't really work.
