calls every two hours - all day long!!!!

Capital One Credit cards with a survey about their customer service.

They call every few days. Dead line if I pick up, no message if I don't. I have not contacted any company with a complaint or question in the last 6 months, not sure why they are calling. Could be a scam.

Keep getting the same stinking calls as everyone else..Lucky for me I bought new phones and now I am able to block any caller I choose...Yeah! I also have Comcast for my phone service and can also block calls with that service too...

I have been call repeatedly by this company when I answer nothing but dead air. They have interrupted sleep,showers, ect.. I tried to call them back and I could hear the signal being bounced from one phone to the next. Including one that was very sharp and shrill, I still hung on till finally it ended in a busy signal. I really wanted to give them a piece of my mind. Ask them if part of their research was aggravating and harassing people. I want to be left alone, stop calling me.

Got a call from that number 571 431 1960 through relay service.  So I returned a call.... it was recording. What did I buy?  I don't shop. Why did they call? Huh?

Been getting call from MAritz Research every day for about the past week.  Now that I read this thread I understand why.  PEOPLE, if you read these posts you should understand how being on the national DNC list does not work in this situation, so stop whining about it.  If YOU called a consumer hotline or made a complaint on-line anywhere, they have the RIGHT to contact you about it.

Received a call today.  Please do not call

I think it is a bill collector, or someone wanting to verify personal info.  they called me this morning and asked for me.. but they used my former married name.. and I've probably been divorced longer than the caller has been alive.

I received three calls from this sob's that probably they have nothing to do, only bother citizens. It's Maritz Research a company from Virginia. They call again and again.
My phone is registered in the Gov. web site. Don't call since 2006 however I still received undesirable calls. The system with government doesn't work at all, because they sell the directory of the all phone numbers might have in their database,
once again, somebody do business and profit with the private citizens info, like Facebook.
We need to act in different way, like start sending certified letters to those companies, if they don't stop, sued them. Otherwise we will still receiving undesirable calls.

I'm an oldster and have very few calls from people....garbage like this I do not need....Let me alone...I don't bother you.....

i took the liberty of placing the phone number 571-431-1960 aka Maritz survey on my selective call forwarding feature offered through Comcast, thus forwarding the call to another telemarketing number.  Hope this does the trick!

got a call 2 mins  from this # sounding like the girl was having sex or playing with her self. they knew what bank i banked at so i am bugging out now. if they call you hang up

I received two calls yesterday from 571-431-1960 saying they were doing research for Capitol One Bank about my last visit to a particular branch in Maryland last Wednesday.  I have never been to that branch and in fact have been in Florida for the past 30 days.  Capitol One has no record of any transaction or inquiry by me at that or any other branch in the past 60 days.  Maritz Research is a FRAUD and is not representing Capitol One! they are doing their oun scamming!

Stop calling me and annoying me. I never called Capital One with a complaint.

Got several calls from this number, this time I answered it I declined to take their survey but asked them how they got my number as not only is it private but it is also unlisted.  I was told it was supplied to them by a financial institution!  I thought that all the information you provided to financial institutions was private and that they weren't supposed to sell it to third parties?  I never give my number out so it's mystery.  Why do we have to give a number anyway, it seems in this day and age of advanced technology if you don't have a number you can't do anything.  The message is beware who you give your numbers to as you just don't know how easy it is for them to get information on you these days, the last thing you need is to have your identity stolen.

I get these calls from 571-431-1960 I read other report sites and found a posted number to call to have your number removed from their internal list. the number is 1-800-864-8601 and follow the directions and your number will be on a internal DO NOT CALL LIST. Seems to of worked for myself as with lots of others too.
