he failed at his scamm

I received a txt message from 0428465117 a joy weng stating she would like to buy my car from gumtree and same story that they would pay via PayPal and send a courier to pick the vehicle up, sight unseen. Automatically associated it with a scam, to many scum bags out there

I got the same message saying he wants to purchase but out of town.
Sounds suss!
Daniel duckford you must have bucket loads of cash if you can afford all these cars.

I have had a  juliehamex001@outlook.com to buy my rideon mower.  I was suspicious with the correspondence so I googled her and found several posts as to their fraudulence. I will post the correspondence here for others to read and be warned.

I gave her my reply and then she gets back to me with this email message:

As for the payment..i will be paying you with the fastest and secure way to pay online(PayPal).

I have a private courier agent that will come over for the pick up at your door after the payment have been made, .You can now send me your PayPal email so i can pay in right away and also include your address in your reply.If you don't have a paypal account, you can easily set up one...log on to www.paypal.com and sign up. its very easy.I await your reply asap

What nut case buys a ride on mower without coming in person unless it is new from a retailer or something.

I put an advert for a car on Gumtree and within an hour got 2 emails from "different" people both wanting to buy it, promising to send money by PayPal and they would arrange an agent to collect the car

same to my case wanted to buy a car without seeing, I asked for cash only and he or she disappeared after that, peoples be careful.

Got this yesterday and it sounded very suss and I have not replied back...Scam bid time!!

Thanks for the swift response, I need you to understand that i am willing and ready to purchase it right away as i really appreciate the price stated and possibly have more pictures of it, put it off the AD site and consider me as your favorite ..I have read the ad and it's okay by me.My work does not permit me to come for the inspection (very busy and currently out of town).Would have loved to call but our base right now is bad so we can get along via e-mail.

Wow, I have had a txt from this same number  - asking me to reply by email only juliehamex001@outlook.com about my items for sales...thank you to all of you who have put up these notifications...saved me a whole heap of trouble...

I have a camper trailer for sale. I received a text message from Daniel dman1204@gmail asking for details but only to communicate via e-mail. I said, no e-mail talk over the phone or in person.

The same thing happened to me today on gumtree.I put a WANTED ad up for a 1997 Modulus flea bass and an hour later I get a text from a Tom Shedy saying 'I am interseted in your advert on gumtre,what is the firm price..since then hes totaly blanked the fact the I should be buying off of him...This IS a scam. ecause i'be see. his .ame and e-mail involved with 3 other bass guitair ads wherer he claims to be selling one..Stay clear of this man.. he had all the usualy signs that a scam man would..

Received text from this number last night at 10:30 about my iMac listing on gumtree. Asking me to respond to email Doledota1982@outlook.com. Was feeling hopeful because I need to sell it. Had a response at 4:30am asking about the condition and price (all on my ad) said they were fine with it all then asked for PayPal details and sending via recorded delivery because he got a new job in "irland"
Thank god for natural suspicion and all these previous issues other semi would have been had.

Unfortunatley - we did get scammed by mcraig353@gmail.com.  I lost $950.00 and I am sooo angry.  Once bitten!

Just had a text from a John...e-mail: frezie.john002@gmail.com from the same number.

We are selling a car on gumtree & had a man "Scott Salter" give us this number as a contact...saying he works in the mines etc but happy with pics of the car & he would send a shipping company to pick it up...lucky we hadnt given an address etc.......he would not ring our number nor did the address www.perthmining.com.au register......SCAMMER

In order to provide loans you would require the relevant approval from the Bank of England Prudential Regulation Authority and your name would appear on the Financial Services Register.       Your name is not on that Register and you are thus making UNLAWFUL offers of loans using a UK email address.

You are simply trying to obtain to obtain personal details of people by FRAUD.
