I've had two messages from 61428465117 over the past 3 weeks.
Saying they want to buy the campervan I have listed on Gumtree and Caravansales
One text asked me to reply to allisonnkendricks@gmail.com and other one asked me to email campbelluck@gmail.com

After placing a sale ad specifying no text nessages or emails in order to help prevent scam interest, got a text message from this number asking me to email details to stevefrosser?@gmail.com. Havent wasted my time answering, although certainly feel like @ least giving them a piece of my mind!

i have just been hit with same message from a gumtree ad lol he wanted to pay me via paypal full asking and send someone to collect,who buys like that,so i googled the number from the text so glad i did as i found this....thanks loads

DO NOT USE THIS PERSON. I HAD ONE TODAY HE/SHE IS FROM CHINA. THEY SEND YOU A FAKE INVOICE FOR THE PAYPAL PAYMENT. I WOULDNT EVEN BOTHER REPLYING. HES BEEN REPORTED TO THE POLICE

Yes i have reported him to paypal, another site said that he'd been traced to somewhere in India. (typical)

I can't understand why police won't hire the services of a good hacker, surely then they would find out the whereabouts of the computer and the scammer.

Got a text after placing an Advert on Gumtree Uk Meesage as follows :-

I have just received the exact same sms messsage followed by an email with the exact same wording shortly after placing my car on gumtree.

I got the exact same text message from so called Stephen Fresser from the same number an hour after posting my car for sale on 19/11/13. Spoke to my sister who advised to be careful as this is my first time on Gumtree, thought I would google 'Stephen Fresser scams gumtree' and your post came up. Think I might still reply and give him my bank details though.

ANY MESSAGE COMES MINUTES AFTER ADVERTISING ASKING IS IT STILL FOR SALE IS ALWAYS DODGE JUST SEND ABUSE BACK AND TRY TO MAKE THEM FEEL BAD !!

I got the same email yesterday..... Seems like a massive scam....

We do not have access to phone at the moment,its 20days off and 11days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility.


I am buying this for my first son who just graduated ontop of his class at Charles Darwin University in NT ,He studied Building Design & Architecture.
