I put their address nito http://www.mailbait.info/run.html every time so their inbox gets filled with spam, then also report the address to google so they can shut it down

Got a txt from the same number claiming to be a Janet Maxwell and to contact her via email only at jasonmaxwell2010@gmail.com.  The text just didn't feel right so I googled the number which led me here.

Sadly, I know of people who have fallen for these sorts of scams.   Be vigilant people!

I just got another one, from Gumtree on the same ad!  Last guy was mackwillams12@live.com this one is jasonmaxwell2010@gmail.com

I sent them this answer:

I had the same thing today! Believed it at first until I recieved 2 more txts from the same number from 2 different people! Bob emailed me too but named himself Michael on the txt!

Also got a text messages from +61428465117 about Gumtree and CarSales ads last week. As I had not deleted the text I noticed each used the same number, however text was from 3 different people - Matt Boyle@gmail, Helvis@gmail and Scott Salter@aol. All ask if car is still for sale, however don't say what car. Each text says ONLY reply by email.Unless all like to share same mobile phone this looks like a scam, thank goodness for these websites

So funny............ just tonight I put an ad up on gumtree, to sell an item and I also had a text message from this number listed. I don't know why, but I decided to google the email they gave me and I came here!

Got a msg INSTANTLY from this number 0428465117 in reply to my gumtree add for my holden commodore WITH this email address roseallize@gmail.com saying "her" name was Rose Williams and she worked for New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and was out of the country so would need my BSB and ACCNT numbers to do a Pay Pal deposit of $8000 dollars and would have her courier pick the car up and deliver it to her!
Luckily I sent an email asking how she could be so eager to buy a vehicle with little information and no test drive etc. AND OF COURSE THERE WAS NO REPLY!!!
