I received a call today from RP Brides saying I won a free  bridal trip for 3 days and two  nights and a $1k grocery card.I am calling back and canceling my apt.

I received a call ftom Joanna  from RP brides ext. 5776 this afternoon. I callled back late in the evening, no answer or messaging service. I decided to research the company and found this blog. It seems like a scam, but you never know...be careful!

I received a call from Joanna who stated I had won a free trip. I called back and no one answered, so I decided to google the number and found this site. So glad I did. It is tempting but, it's just a way for you to go and spend money and receive nothing.

I received the same call from a Lucy. :(

I received a call from Joanna. All I've found online were 1) people who said it was a scam and didn't go OR 2) people who went and got suckered in to purchasing the pots they were trying to sell. I have an appointment to go in tomorrow. Thinking about going. If I do, I'll post what happens.

I got a call from this number. Two different women said I was rude and hung up on me. All I did was ask questions about their company. THIS IS A SCAM! Don't waste your time with 21st Century.

I think the prizes/company are legit.
My fiance and I recieved the same phone call a while back. We had nothing to do so we decided to check it out. When we got to the hotel we were greeted by this one gentleman named Cliff. Although four other couples were scheduled to attend it ended up only being my fiance and I there. Cliff went over with us in great detail the prizes we won. 3/day 2night accomodations, $1,000 coupon card, and 20-40% discount on their products. Cliff than spoke to us about the cookware products that he was selling. After hearing Cliff's speal we politely thanked Cliff for showing us the products and we informed him that we didn't have the money to buy the products at the time. Cliff understood and thanked us for coming. We were only at the Sheraton for an hour and we walked away with our prizes without having to pay for anything.  

We haven't filled out the accomodations paperwork yet, but I am assured that when we do we will recieve our accomodations with no strings attached. So for those of you that think this is a scam I assure you it is not. If you are given a chance to win free accomodations, why wouldn't you at least check it out for yourself and not go by what others are saying?

I just received a voicemail from Lucy from 631-271-2025 ext. 6957.  And like many of the other comments, she said that I won a trip and to call back b/c it is only available for a short time.  At first I was excited but my mother-in-law said that it might be a scam.  I googled it and this site came up.  I won't be calling her back.  Thanks guys,

I just got the same thing! You won a 3 day/2 night trip and a $1000 grocery card.  I thought it was weird I had to go to a hotel to pick it up?? They said they only stay at the best hotels, like the best western! Hysterical.  SCAM IT UP!
Don't go to bridal expos...waste of time and you'll get stalked!

Just got a call from Alexis for 21st Century RP bridal and said I won 3 prizes...she said she got my name from a bridal expo.  Was tempted to call but after reading all this, I don't think i will go....Thank u everyone for all the info.....

I just got a call from Joanna telling me I won a 3 day/2 nights hotel package from a bridal show and a 1k grocery card from RK brides but they wanted us to come in for 1hr 30min to do a survey on their products like china and cookware at a local hotel. She kept saying at no cost, no need to buy any products, just tell us your likes/dislikes. I'm glad I checked out the number first. 631-271-2025 Dont fall for it.

Just received a call from this number - asking me to call back and ask for Joanne at x8045.  Sounded like a scam so I'm glad I looked it up first.

I received my call from Lakia?/Lakita from the same number.  I thought it was a little odd that the business call came in after 7pm.  
I may check it out..my fiance & i like to hear people's sales pitches...shoot..we are spending money on a wedding we have no need to spend money on exras like cookware when we can get it through our registry!

I got a call too from an Arrlene. It is a good thing that I looked up the area code because it is from New York. I went to an Expo in Texas. I am glad that I looked up the area code before returning the call.

I was called today from Callie & Lakiina today. I listened to her information and i'm supposed to meet Robert at a comfort inn sunday. I think i'll bring my MOH & FH and we can listen to his sales pitch, We won't buy anything but it isn't that big of a deal if we get something out of it, with the economy so bad, why wouldn't anyone listen to a sales pitch to get a grocery card? I can definitely use it!

Has anyone actually gone?  Everyone is basically saying oh it's a scam becuase they don't want to go but I want to know if someone actually went, then i'll believe it's a scam.  I'm going on Sunday and i'll let everyone know what it's all about.  I'm not going to assume its a scam without checking it out first.

i recieved a phone call from a shani she was very nicce and funny and told me about what i was SELECTED to recieve. people get all that twisted they never say you WON anything and it is something you do inregards to your wedding wether it be going to a bridal expo or going on line and all that other crap we do for our wedding. its a product display and preview in commack that i attended the man that was the representtative his name was gene he was very funny and i learned alot! the not once asked me for personal information or pressured myself and my fiance to purchase anything they had really nice things im not in the position to purchase a $1500.00 pot set but i will consider it when things get better i recieved my hotel stay for the 3f=days and 2nights as well as my $1000.00 gricery card... so all you people talking oh its a scam there people trying to make a living like the rest of us... and the name of there company is 21ST CENTURY R.P. BRIDES AND THERE WEBSITE IS RPBRIDES.COM so ladys do not listen to these women talking a bout a scam there a lagit companie if your not intrested say no thank you and stop putting your information online and thru any davids bridol! i hope next time a young lady calls you from this companie you have a little respect cause there NOT TRYING TO SELL YOU ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went on Sunday and I just want to say that we actually had fun.  The guy was well-spoken.. we were never bored.. and they cooked for us.  We did get the vacation voucher and they never once pressured us to buy anything.  So for everyone on here who says it's a scam... get off your lazy [***] and actually check it out before you say it's a scam!

I got the call from Arlene as well.  I was so excited to go, so like an idiot I called back made the appoitment for me and my fiance to go.  They got my information from the bridal expo I just attended.  My appoitment with them is in 15 minutes lol.  Thank God my fiance doesn't fall for crap like this and looked it up.  So once again ladies Arlene is going to be very angry with me that I did not call to cancel lmao!  It's a scam!
